I still haven't published my book (darn economics!), but I was very pleased with Glenn's efforts on editing a romance-adventure (42k words) I felt was worth paying someone to get really right before submitting. He gave solid reasons for anything he felt could be left out, and when he suggested moving parts around, it made obvious sense. I hadn't introduced the bad guy until chapter 11 or 12 (other stuff seemed more important), he moved to Ch. 6 because "even if you don't use him all the time or until much later, people need to know he exists, why, and what impact might/will have (vs. just popping in near end).
