I have used Victoria Glovich as a personal trainer for the last year and a half. She is great at tailoring a workout to meet your needs and the best part is that you can do them anywhere. You do not need alot of equipment or time spent at the gym. She utilizes your bodyweight and I saw faster result then I ever saw at the gym. Her boot camps are intense, the personal one on one sessions are tailored specifically to me. She motivates with positive feedback, holds me responsible, and offers good advice on changing the way you think about exercise , your relationship with food, etc. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted to accomplish and worked with me to put together a progam that works fro me. Rudy was the first trainer I had ever worked with - my introduction to training, you might say. The first time we met he asked my goals, and then set a training objective for me that right off the bat I had zero faith I could ever achieve, but was ecstatic that he thought I could do it. Turns out he was right, and I've never felt so accomplished in my life. Rudy was amazing in pushing me to do things past what I thought were my limits, yet didn't let me get discouraged by failing. He knew my strengths/weaknesses and planned workouts to help me improve - always showing me I could do more than I thought - much, much more. He never let me slack, but it was also never a beat-down. The workouts were varied so it was never the same, dull pushing weights and counting reps. He used a wide range of methods and always explained how they would help my strength/agility/coordination/endurance/etc. Not only that, but when I could no longer train with Rudy, he made sure to pair me with a trainer that would be compatible to my needs. He even went over my goals, strengths/weaknesses, and other insights with the new trainer to make sure I would stay on track with what I was trying to accomplish. Working with Rudy gave me confidence in myself. He went above and beyond, and I will always be grateful for that.
I have taken Tyson's Circuit Training Class and Cardio Kickboxing Class and I can say that I got a great workout with both. I really appreciated the professionalism and one on one attention i received even though my classes were in a group setting. I love the variety of music that get you more hype and how clean the facility is! My trainer, Dustin Johnson has patience like no other, and will ensure you meet your goal and continue to push you. I’ve been training with Beth for almost 2 years now, and believe she is one of the best and most committed trainers around. I have done personal and group sessions with Beth as well as boot camp classes. She was able to help me modify during my pregnancy and help me with my postpartum weight loss. It was the last week of July 2012 when Matt was appointed to train me with a goal of building up my strength with weight training. Since then, I have been not just trained, but motivated and substantially educated by Matt about physical fitness. My journey in physical fitness began in Nov 2011 when I entered the gym for the first time to do boot camp style training for losing fat which was at around 26.5 percent. Soon I realized the need for bolstering strength and improving endurance and I decided to join Rapid Fitness (not just because my friends went there but because it was an affordable option for having a personal trainer). Matt was appointed as my personal trainer and from that point on I began my journey toward adding substantial muscle and not just burning fat. When I began training, like most newbies wanted to see I whether I could work with heavier weights, sometimes even at the cost of form and full range motion. Matt had a hard time but he was eventually able to control this tendency of mine and get me back on track to concentrate on form and ensuring full range of motion, rather than just focusing on the weight numbers. I did realize the benefit of it later when my muscles started growing stronger and I had diminished injury periods. Another thing that Matt guided me through that was very crucial was building up my chest, back, and legs rather than just concentrating on arms. I spent quite a lot of effort trying to convince Matt otherwise, but I am glad he stood strong and gave me the correct guidance. Now, after almost seven months of training, I realize the difference. I had well-sized legs, unlike most of the people I knew who had this huge upper body but small legs. This not only helped me with legs but since the big muscles were built up, the body fat started reducing quickly and I was able to get over the plateau and hit 20 percent body fat. Due to this, even though my arms didnt appear big, I could still manage to lift a substantial amount of weight. Matt didnt just guide me through weight training, he was able to notice my lack of flexibility and then guide me through stretching exercises. This cautious measure has prevented lots of injuries I would have brought upon myself due to my negligence. One thing I noticed training in a gym with correct guidance is that it doesnt just change you physically but also psychologically. Over time, you become more confident, with a positive attitude, and more focused. It doesnt just teach you to appreciate the hard work of others, but to appreciate yourself and motivate those like you who were scared of entering the gym because they felt they were not cut out for it. I was really happy when I visited my family in India in January 2013 and everyone observed and appreciated the difference in me. Thats when I realized the guidance and training provided by Matt was the one thing that was able to make this happen and no kind of dieting would have worked on its own. This realization is the reason for writing this testimonial. I am thankful to Matt for not just guiding and motivating me, but helping me to control my tendency to lose form when I wanted to lift heavier weights.
Big "D" took me through a crossfit style workout at my request at my gym for 30 minutes. I told Big "D" I wanted him to wear me out and all I can say is for the next two days I couldn't move and I couldn't be happier... It was exactly what I was looking for. I learned a few exercises I hadn't done before and he absolutely went above and beyond my expectations by offering nutritional advice. Sarah is one of the best trainers I have trained with. Her energy is contagious. Every workout pushes me to be my best. She is very knowledgeable on proper Olympic lifting techniques. I was on the 12 week workout/meal plan.Starting weight 224 size 16. I started seeing results in 3 weeks.Week 5 I was 207 size 12 then I started getting lazy. I didnt give it my all the last few weeks of the workout plan but I stuck with the meal plan. By the end of 12 weeks I was still a size 12 but I was 192. Im going to give it another try because the custom workout/meal plan really works you just have to stick with it.
