I was in fifth grade when Irina became my piano teacher. Piano lessons with her were wonderful because she taught me about the history of music and made me a well-rounded person. She also taught me how to play with emotion and passion... With her it wasn't just learning about the how to play the right notes in the right. It was about learning to play the piece in a way that was moving. She was a dedicated teacher to me who gave it her all. I couldn't have imagined a better teacher in my wildest dreams.
Justin does a wonderful job of instilling a general love of and appreciation for music inn our 10 year old girl. We hired him to teach guitar, but he also uses singing and our piano in the lessons. We all really like his holistic approach. Justin is laid back and very easy to get along with, as well as trustworthy. We highly recommend him!
I practiced my singing for an audition and I got the audition. He helped me figure out problem areas with my voice and what I needed to improve on. I would recommend Minnix Music because I enjoy the lessons he teaches!
My son has been taking violin lessons for a year and a half and piano lessons for a year now. His progress has been amazing. Mrs. Campbell works with him on his level to expand his talents. She's easy to work with if we need a schedule change. I'm glad that we were able to make a connection through our local newspaper. It's definitely been and continues to be a rewarding experience!

Kerry's a wonderful piano teacher, focusing on technique, interpretation, and expression. She's supportive and she makes learning fun. We start off lessons with sight-reading duets--and that's a treat but it's great for sight-reading and rhythm. I highly recommend Kerry and her studio.

My objective is that in meeting a new student, I wish to assess their music/piano knowledge and learn what kind of music they like. I will guide each student at his pace of learning and understanding. I will give positive affirmations, and I will be understanding when a student becomes frustrated. I will make sure that a concept is understood before continuing.
