Latest Review: My first session with Kristina began with a fitness assessment, which she explained would help her evaluate what I needed. When I went back for my next session, she had a workout designed specifically for me. The next morning I hurt in exactly the right places. Her workouts are fun and I never feel bored. She is pleasant and motivating, but not in that annoying drill sergeant kind of way. I appreciate what she has done for me mentally and physically and can't wait for swimsuit season!

Latest Review: Derrick helped me start a strength training plan after I received lousy numbers from my doctor. He started me out at a pace I could handle and challenged me appropriately as we continued. His advice and guidance helped me lose over 40+lbs in 4 months and get my type 2 diabetes under control. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is either just starting out or looking to improve on what they are doing. He is on time and focused every single session. I can’t recommend him enough.

Latest Review: I started going to Jayd for personal training once a week about a month ago. I had previously been going to Title and doing power hour multiple times a week plus eating well for many months. Since starting with Jayd I can see MUCH more differences in my body. Working with her has pushed whatever barrier was keeping me from the results I wanted. Checking in on Trainerize makes me feel accountable for what I'm eating and how much I'm working outside of our sessions because I know she can see. I'm just starting to play with other features in the app but I like that she uses something that keeps track so I don't have to! I definitely recommend her if you're ready to add that extra component to your routine or if you're just getting started and need the motivation!!

Latest Review: Body by Design is the fourth personal trainer that I have worked with, and Joe, Sara and the rest of the team have given me the most effective workout sessions I have ever had. In just a few weeks friends and family began talking about how much weight I had lost and how good I looked. I didn’t tell them that it wasn’t really weight loss (I didn’t tell anyone I was working with a trainer ;-) but that it was weight training that had made me stronger, healthier, and given me a more fit physique. I previously worked with some other trainers for over a year and never got such notice. The most amazing thing though was that, after just about a month of training and strengthening my lower body, my long-standing plantar fasciitis went away. I had previously had physical therapy, orthotics and even injections that did not work. Getting in shape with someone who knows what they are doing can make all the difference, even with life’s aches and pains of aging. Sarah (and all of Joe’s team at Body by Design) is knowledgeable, competent, and always very professional. Joe is also up to date on the latest research and information in health, medicine and fitness and uses that information to constantly make Body by Design a better place. Any time I ask for further information on other subjects, such as nutrition, he immediately responds and forwards the information. I don't think North Carolina has a more informed, professional, and effective trainer! My workouts at Body by Design are always unique and keep me from plateauing. One of their best skills is in making sure that your body develops muscle in a balanced and efficient way so as to avoid injury in both sports and in everyday life. I have been an athlete and have worked out most of my life, but my trainers at Body by Design continue to challenge me in my workouts and I have never been more fit. They tailor workouts for each individual and will not march anyone down the wrong path with fads like crossfit or short-term fixes like starvation diets. They are truly interested in making a positive impact on their clients' lives - for the rest of their lives.

Latest Review: I hired Eric as my personal trainer in September 2017. I have an athletic background but had not worked out in years so I was very depressed about my weight and personal appearance. I was looking for, not only for a personal trainer, but for a professional that understood what I was going through and could help encourage me and keep me motivated to stick with the sessions to meet my goals. Eric and I began working together 2-3x's per week and my progression and strength have improved dramatically. I worked through Eric's beginner program and now I'm on a more specific program that I will get a reward at the end of the training. Since September my appearance has changed drastically. I've lost 50 lbs and the weight training has kept me from having a lot of flab from the weight loss. I'm glad I chose Eric to be a part of my fitness team and will continue to work with him on this long-term journey.

Latest Review: Max is a phenomenal trainer! I have been working with him for almost a year now and not once have I regretted the decision to reach out to him. On the contrary, I am grateful to have found such a positive and energetic person to train with. I started working with Max with the intention of losing the extra weight I gained after college. We are currently switching gears and placing more emphasis on gaining lean muscle mass over weight loss, since I already lost about 25lbs from when we first started. Max and I went over my diet together and made a few key adjustments to help me along with my new goal. Max approaches each training sessions in a very thoughtful manner, keeping in mind the goals and the mindset of the client, which allows for very enjoyable and efficient training. Furthermore, I think it is worth mentioning that Max has a borderline supernatural propensity to stay optimistic, despite any challenges that he or his clients may be facing; this attitude helps tremendously during a particularly challenging workout, and it also provides a welcome solace when times get a little tough outside the gym.

Latest Review: I am a long distance runner who started a strength training program with Aaron to address muscle weaknesses caused by sitting for a living and muscle imbalances caused by running long distances for the last five years. My goal was to prevent common running injuries and to address some issues with my knee. I have literally no interest in strength based exercise and have very little confidence when it comes to anything doesn’t involve stepping out my door and going for a run, hopping on a bike, or jumping in a pool. In fact, if you would have asked me when I first started whether I would be able or willing to commit to any kind of regular strength training program I would have told you flatly, no way. But Aaron makes it fun and interesting and I have been doing strength training sessions three times a week for about 6 months. Even better, I feel comfortable doing things on my own. He has really helped to boost my confidence when it comes to what seemed to me to be complicated exercises. He is really great at pointing out how I have improved and notices progress that I would never have been able to notice on my own. I would highly recommend Aaron.
