At the beginning of this school year I was shy, unconfident, and an overall scaredy cat. I was, of course, not content with this existence so I took my friends advice and started classes with Keely. At the start I was shy and kind of timid around her, but as the year progressed I got to know her more and my fear started to melt away. By Christmas I was pretty comfortable "acting" in front of her and the class. This led to some progression for me outside of class as well because I began to gain some confidence in my abilities. My stutter is almost completely non-existent now, for I used to stutter during class presentations at school, and I can stand up for myself. I am not completely through the transition just yet, but overall this class has helped me find my voice and begin to nurture it. Thank you Keely.
It was better than "Cats." I want to take the class again, and again. Seriously - Dana is one of the strongest actors in the area, fearless and truthful on stage. And what's great is she is able to break that down and bring that into the classroom as an instructor. I took a voice class with her and I use what I learned all the time in my acting work. She is supportive, positive, engaged, and incredibly well grounded in what she teaches. If you are considering taking a class from her - DO IT. -Brook
Leslie works with my 12 year old son weekly, training him in the areas of voice/singing, acting, piano, and commercial voiceover and on-camera. She cares very deeply for her students and with positive reinforcement and individualized training, helps them to grow -- nurturing their talents and attaining their goals by acquiring and developing real skills. Leslie so often goes the extra mile, putting in far more time and effort than would be expected in that quest to see her students succeed. In the two years she has been my son's teacher, I have not only seen his talents develop, but I have seen his confidence grow immensely. She is not only a wonderful teacher but, in addition, because of her background and years of personal experience as a true working professional in the industry, she is also knowledgeable about the ins and outs of what it takes to become a stage, film and commercial actor/artist. She has been able to share so much information with us in order to help my son down this path. I am so grateful that Leslie is available to mentor my son with her skills as a talent and a teacher and impart "real world" knowledge of the "business" with us. I would highly recommend Leslie to any and all who desire proper training and guidance in the performing arts. Mandy P.
It was a fun class and Tanner has a lot of energy and information to share. It felt a little chaotic/discordant starting out, but once we got into it, was well worth the time and effort. Will be taking future classes.
Kaley is an absolute professional- knowledgeable of her craft and what it takes to teach others. In fact, she taught me something that I'd been struggling to learn for years! She is also very kind and caring, which is sometimes very difficult to find! I highly recommend her- you will be glad you worked with her- your acting will really improve, as will your confidence!
