I have hired Wendy to create and refresh my slides for my professional speaking and workshops. What a difference! She took them from meh to mahvelous! I have also seen Wendy present and her no-nonsense, casual style and practical advice can work with many different types of groups.

It was better than "Cats." I want to take the class again, and again. Seriously - Dana is one of the strongest actors in the area, fearless and truthful on stage. And what's great is she is able to break that down and bring that into the classroom as an instructor. I took a voice class with her and I use what I learned all the time in my acting work. She is supportive, positive, engaged, and incredibly well grounded in what she teaches. If you are considering taking a class from her - DO IT. -Brook

    About

Many people who teach public speaking are not actually skilled at public speaking. I placed in the top 10 percent at Pi Kappa Delta's 2011 national speech and debate tournament. Our debate team took 1st, our speech team took 4th, and both combined took 3rd, beating over 80 universities around the country. Additionally, in 2011, I won the Edward Everett Prize in Oratory at Hillsdale College. As early as 2008, I won first place for a sermon I delivered at the North American Christian Convention in Kansas City, Missouri. While traveling for four years and receiving scholarship for competitive speaking in college, I was responsible for listening to many teammate's speeches and helping them improve their writing and speaking ability. In short, I stand out because I not only have taught others how to speak well, but I also have years of personal speaking experience.

    About

I was always fascinated with public speaking. As a little girl, my favorite thing to do in school was oral presentations, and I spent my weekends preparing speeches. I also took a lot of improv classes as a teenager. Fast forward to a few years ago, I was trained by the National Speakers Association, and now earn a living as a public speaker, and trainer. No matter where you're at in your own speaking journey, I can help you feel more confident, be more engaging, prepare better structured speeches and captivate your audience - all of that while tapping into the real, beautiful and authentic person that you are.

I provide training opportunities for workforce and personal development, beyond traditional training, in a very fun, innovative and interactive way to people and organizations seeking to work in harmony. My seminars and workshops include, but not limited to, diversity and inclusion, cultural competence, conflict management, leadership development, effective communications and the quintessential team building steel drum interactive "Workforce Harmonics." My philosophy is, unless the individual develops, the organization cannot develop.
