Alex and his team were excellent in every way. His quote was fair and he stuck to it. The work (fence install and gutter cleaning) is quality and was completed timely. He and his team were also very professional. Alex himself is very personable and flexible, but his entire team impressed me. They worked quietly, diligently and never left a mess. I have to say this was the best contractor experience I've had. I would definitely use him again.
Power wash, caulking in wood siding, whole house, front porch, and shed paint outside, and seal and paint of concrete porch. Friendly service, fair price.
Very professional and did an excellent job. We definitely recommend this contractor.
Steve came behind other contractors who had botched everything they touched. He was willing to fix everything that was wrong no matter how bad it was. He stayed until the project was finished and never left, even after multiple delays and add-ons. Steve is a stand up guy and I would hire him again.
When my wife and I decided to upgrade the floors in our house, we had three contractors come and evaluate the job to estimate. One never called back, one gave us an estimate, but had the attitude that he didn't care if he got the job or not, and then we met with Jesse of Floors N' More. His communication was first rate. He arrived on time and we discussed what we wanted to do. He measured for precise calculations and that night I had an estimate, a very reasonable estimate. Jesse makes you feel good right away about why you should choose him and his company for the job. We agreed to terms, got on his schedule, and he was there ready to go when the time came. During the whole process he communicated his progress and included images. We checked in on the project a couple of times to view the quality of his work to make sure we were getting what we were paying for. He did not let us down! When the job was done and we saw it complete for the first time, we were ecstatic! He did a great job. No matter who you contract with, you never know what kind of job will be done until it's complete. With Jesse, you don't have to be concerned. It gets done right! Thanks Jesse for a job well done and we are looking forward to working with you on other projects discussed.
I am very satisfied with the work Chris did removing the two dead trees from our yard. He committed to driving through 77 traffic and worked through the evening. He provided suggestions and costs for our firepit, I appreciated his honesty. He connected us with a colleague that specialized in some concrete work to talk to us while they removed the trees. Excited to see our final product.
These guys were everything you would want in a contractor. They let us know what was going on every step of the process. They completed the job in 6 days. Quality of work is excellent. I would recommend them over and over.
My wife and I hired American Made to install replacement windows in our home. Matt Dillon was professional and completed the install as requested. There was very little disruption to our daily routine as the install took place. I would recommend American Made as a contractor for your next project.
Overall, I thought he was a solid worker and while it is hard to gauge if I got the highest quality of work, I feel like the work done was reasonable. They did work within my budget for several small projects, and while they didn't adhere to the original schedule, they did get the pieces done. The general replacement of the mortar around bricks looks ok on the front of the house, and the relaying of the walkway was done well. They built up a first new step (because one was missing or never built. It was done with a concrete and brick dye. He was convinced that will eventually 'blend in' so I am waiting to see that happen in the coming months. The back brick patio replacement bricks was a little less consistent, and people have noticed that the mortar around the bricks is right now a little sloppy - though, again, I am affirmed by the contractor this will improve over time. He did say it might take a while. I had two other small projects that he did take on - one was washing and repairing a second entryway's brickwork and that mortar has already broken away and I believe I will have to redo this in the coming week. The other was a small brick extension to the back brickway that was almost forgotten. The job was supposed to take 1-2 days, and it sprawled out to two weeks for various reasons. I also paid them in installments on a daily basis, which is fine but highly unusual. So that is something to prepare for.
Within five minutes of my online inquiry for someone to do concrete work for me, Todd (Richard Pedley) called me within 3 minute! We ultimately set up a day a time for him to come out and give me a quote on several different variations of the projects I wanted done. I felt the quotes he provided were very reasonable so needless to say, I hired his company. From start to finish, the job took approximately 3 days, he and his helper were there early each day and the project progressed quickly. I am extremely happy with the quality of work and would highly recommend RP Enterprises to anyone needing sidewalks, patios, or a combination of those projects. I'll probably submit pictures of the finished product once winter is over and my lawn is green again. Thanks Todd!
I posted a project request via Thumbtack on August 16, 2017 for an interior designer to help me design my new historical loft apartment. Ann Lamm Interiors happened to be the first "Pro," that responded to my request. She scheduled her "First Consultation," on the same day- August 16, 2017. Her First Consultation with me was $100.00. (Which I paid via cash.) During our first meeting Ann took measurements of my loft/came up with "design layout for the furniture to be placed, and she made suggestions regarding the floor condition. At the end of our first consultation, we agreed that I would pay $2500 dollars for laminate floors to be placed in the kitchen/dining/living rooms and hallway. I hired her because she had positive rewiews/self proclaimed "expert," with over 20 years of experiencevia Thumbtack, Angie's List, GoSmith.com, Houzz.com, and Facebook. At the beginning we both talked to the front office of my apartment and they made it perfectly clear that nothing was to be removed or added on the floors including the baseboards, and that the apartment had to be returned to its original state. No glue or paint was to be used. Ann told me on numerous occasions that no changes would be made. The project was supposed to last only a day, and it lasted more than a week. She made constant excuses as to why the jobs was not to be done. As a result the job was horrendous and permanently damaged my apartment. Not only did they remove the baseboards and try to glue them back on, they did not even put some of the baseboards back on. The contractors left many of their supplies including glue and paint in a trash bag in the corner. There are also several areas where no laminate wood was placed. Instead of having improved floors. I will have to pay additional money to hire a contractor in an attempt just to restore the baseboard back to it's original condition. This is the worst experience I have had dealing with any professional service online and I would not recommend Ann at all.
Zuniga Construction has done two different jobs for us and we were thrilled with the results. The first one was removing and replacing a door and door facing. There is absolutely no evidence that the door/facing were replaced. The second job was 2 days of replacing facia on our roof. Sergio explained the process and materials used and it looks perfect! They are also very professional - providing an estimate (which was accurate) before the job was accepted and a printed receipt upon payment. My voicemail messages were returned promptly and Sergio was always on time. The one time he was delayed, he called to let us know. We really appreciate their punctuality, given our experience with previous contractors. We HIGHLY recommend Zuniga Construction!
Mr. Marshall is a great guy, understood the job we have and responded appropriately. He has a great understanding of building and design. Great to work with. We are using Mr. Marshall again in the near future to complete the project we have going on. It's not an easy project, we are cleaning up the mess another Builder/Contractor left me.
Words cannot describe the workmanship of Stevenson's Hardwood Floors. Is Dennis Stevenson part man/part workhorse or is he just super human? That's the question. We had our hardwood floors sanded and stained by another contractor who was doing our kitchen remodel. He was NOT familiar with hardwoods and our contractor destroyed our floors. He put grooves in the floor and he slopped the stain on with mops. What I walked into was a disaster zone and I was in a complete panic. I was hysterically calling around to hardwood floor companies and it was a Friday morning right before 4th of July weekend no less and everybody was leaving for vacation and closing up shop early. Dennis Stevenson listened to my needs and told me that he could fix it. He asked how early he could show up the next morning (on a Saturday people!!!) and I basically told him that he could have free reign on the house. This man showed up at dawn (6:30am) and took one look at my floors and shook his head in disgust. This was going to be a job of all jobs to tackle. Dennis stayed a grueling 18 hours and I swear I never saw the guy take a single break. We brought in a couple of cheeseburgers and dropped them off for him and as soon as we shut the door to the house, I heard the sanders fire up again. I do not know any company that would make an emergency house call..on a weekend..and then proceed to work EIGHTEEN SOLID HOURS until the job was complete. He fixed all of the floors and made everything more gorgeous than expected. Dennis wasn't going to quit until he achieved perfection even though it was well after midnight and he knew that he had to get up at 6am for Church the next morning. The work ethic of this man is unbeatable. His schedule was completely booked for the next month but every night for 3 nights that week, once he got off work, he would come straight over and put the next coat of poly on until the entire job was complete. Go with Stevenson's Hardwood Floors. You will not be disappointed!
We had a relatively small flooring project in our laundry room. I was having problems getting a date scheduled with another contractor. Anthony quoted the project, got us on his schedule right away and did a fantastic job. I would recommend his work to anyone. The hardwood floor looks amazing and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!!
Napoleon from Polo Pro Concrete did a great job removing our shrubbery limbs. His price was very reasonable also. We highly recommend Polo Pro Concrete if anyone needs concrete work, trees or shrubbery cutting and removal.
Not enough stars for this pro. Superior customer service and the work product exceeded my expectations. They were the lowest bidder as well. Kudo's to them.
Jan's Painting Service does amazing work. They have painted the entire outside and inside of our house from top to bottom. The quality is outstanding and unmatched. Their positive attitudes and attention to detail is much appreciated. Finding a contractor that is trustworthy and hard working isn't always easy to find. Do yourself a favor, if you have work to be done, call Jan's Painting Service.
I think you mean (Carolina Decorative Concrete) They were a very professional and attentive crew. Did a great job with no complaints. Highly recommend them. Will be using them again for sure!
