Tanya came to our house to do a wedding shower brunch for my daughter. She came very early (and had driven 2 hours to get here, and worked methodically, quietly, and with a smile. She then served the most AWESOME multi course menu.. we were all totally awed as course after course came out! Afterwards, she cleaned so thoroughly my daughter commented that she had never seen my island so clean! She left the same way she came and we had one of the best, most relaxing home parties we have ever had. I HIGHLY recommend Tanya, her cooking, her professional demeanor - the whole package to anyone who is lucky enough to employ her!

We had the pleasure of putting together a cooking demonstration and tasting series with Joe this past Summer on the Kendall Square Rooftop Garden. This series was an absolute blast! Joe created a different recipe each week by incorporating garden ingredients found in the Green City Grower Gardens located on the roof and showed us how to use them in everyday cooking. This series was free to the public and had some delicious results! We are looking forward to a new series starting every Wednesday evening in June!
Chef Elizabeth cooked dinner for my wife’s 70th birthday. It was such a joy to work with her. She was responsive right from the beginning - offering menu suggestions and answering the dozens of questions I threw at her. She arrived promptly at the designated hour and presented a delicious meal cooked from our kitchen at the exact time we chose. My wife was so happy that I had hired Chef Elizabeth. She was attentive and took care of everything from opening the champagne to cleaning up after the meal. She left the kitchen spotless. We plan on hiring her many more times in the future.
My two boys have taken cooking classes from Tanya the Homestyle Gourmet for years. They love her classes, camps and workshops.
