MOJO Fitness was my personal trainer for about 2 years and the only reason I stopped was my work schedule changed and I could not fit in sessions. During the time I worked with MJ, I became leaner, stronger and more fit. I always appreciated MJ's enthusiasm and creativity in the workouts. My routine was never boring and MJ pushed me to work harder each session. His sense of humor helped when the workouts were difficult. Mojo fitness is a more laid back atmosphere that feels much more personalized. MJ creates workouts based on your ability and then pushes you, the workouts never get boring!

I have worked with personal trainers in the past but none as knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, and versatile as Doug. I injured my knee over a year ago and he was able to work within my abilities to strengthen my knee as well as build up my conditioning overall so making my physical life better than it has been in a while. I am not done yet...I am trying to maintain for a while on my own but will be back to work with Doug again.

I'll try and keep this brief but informative. First, let me tell you about my idea of exercise and healthy eating. Moving from the couch to my car was good enough for me and a box of Swiss rolls was a snack. I'm not overweight, I just ate HORRIBLY. I started going to Heather when I went to golds gym. She gave me an assessment test and I thought she was going to not even bother to train me. She took me, someone who was at the bottom, and put so much faith in me. She encouraged me, believed in me and mostly she pushed me. By working me out and working out with me, it forced me to eat better. If I didn't eat better, working out was awful!!! I felt better than I ever have, I slept better and I was so much more motivated. When I tell you that Heather changed my life, I truly and honestly mean it. I would NOT write this if she didn't have the impact on my life that she had. I had to move but I still tell people that "my trainer" Heather is amazing. Although, I haven't been to her in a very long time she's still my trainer! Heather is hands down the most professional (unbelievably), educated and most adaptable trainer I've ever seen or heard of. I am unbelievable picky and I thanked God every time I watched other trainers, that I had her. I would do anything for Heather to be closer to me! Okay, so I didn't keep this very short but I needed to get my point across. I can not express enough how amazing Heather is!!!!!

My name is Diane and I have been a client of Heather's since I was 43 yrs old, over 6 yrs ago. When I met Heather I was overweight, lethargic and had no direction. With the help from Heather I lost 6 dress sizes, but more importantly, I gained the self esteem that I never had. Heather sat with me to figure out my goals, and tailored my training and nutrition to achieve those goals. In less than 6 months I was able to run my first 5k and place in the top 3 of my age group. I met Heather at Golds Gym, I was looking for a personal trainer and I was fortunate to get her. Not only does she push you in workouts she will actually work out with you. I found myself doing workouts that I never thought I could do because of her expert training, and she is also there for you emotionally trust me I certianly had some ups and downs and she was always there for me to pick me up and not be discouraged... I’ve worked with Steve Ramos for about a year. He’s a knowledgeable trainer and it’s clear that he has my best interests at heart. When I have a workout question, he always knows the answer (or finds out the answer). If I ever feel pain somewhere, he helps me to understand why I feel pain, how I can take care of it and how I can prevent it from happening again. He really helped me to learn about proper diet and nutrition, which is so important with any workout program. He’s also very responsive to feedback. If there is ever a workout I don’t particularly like, he tries to create other workouts that I enjoy more. If I'm just not feeling great one day, he helps me modify my workout. If I’m not getting the exact results I want, he works with me to understand why and to help me reach my goals. I definitely recommend Steve if you need a personal trainer. He’s a great guy (we’ve had some fun conversations) and he’s great at what he does. He has helped me improve my strength, nutrition and overall health. I recently moved so I can’t really work with him anymore but he still helps me whenever I have questions.

I hate exercising but Shelley made it enjoyable. She's great at motivating you but doesn't push you past boundaries. She's also great at substituting moves if you have an injury and finding ways to still make you feel like you're working out. In and after her classes I definitely feel the burn.

I have individual personal training sessions at North Reading Krav Maga. Steve is professional and knowledgable. I get a truly individualized experience- working within my limitations, but pushing me in great, productive ways outside of my comfort zone. My sessions combine aerobic activity and strength conditioning. Steve is precise with his instruction, making my form is safe and effective. He makes my workouts fun by combining moves from krav maga and functional motion exercises. I have seen significant changes in my overall fitness, my energy levels, and general shape/size of my body. I've also been feeling in much higher spirits, feeling more in control of my own body, being able to manage stress better, saving anger for punching sessions, and generally feeling more confident in my own physical abilities. I plan to continue working with Steve at North Reading Krav Maga for the foreseeable future- it's a fabulous experience.

We met at my place and worked out for about 45 minutes. She brought her own equipment and tools like music, resistance bands and knee pads for us. Before we began exercising we discussed what areas I want to work on and how I preferred to be trained. She would show me and then ask me to try the exercise as well. I asked that she work out along side me and that made me feel more comfortable. After one or two reps, she would critique my form and then we'd continue. She encouraged me to try these exercises on my own as well.
