I am male and 63 years old. Marie Solimeo has been my personal trainer for more than ten years! When I started working with her, I had recently gone through a difficult treatment for a serious illness. I seemed to feel tired all the time. Since that time, Marie has helped me gradually raise my fitness level, using a combination of careful strength and aerobic training. Through her patient work, she has been immensely helpful and has really improved my quality of life.
I meant Brandon in February 2014 at LA fitness. I had signed up for a one year contract of personal training sessions. He was a very nice and easy going young man. I was immediately comfortable working him as my personal trainer. I weighed in 290 lbs. I lost 65lbs and 10 inches off my waist and hip area by February 2015! I now weigh 225lbs. I went from a size 20 to 12. He taught well, explained thoroughly, and demonstrated the importance of healthy eating, portion sizes, weight training, flexibility, endurance, consistentcy,muscle confusion and strength training. He explained how to use all the equipment, intensity and tempo of my workout sessions. I learned about what it takes to be fit and stay fit. He taught me the importance of rest times and how and when to increase weights. He taught me the importance or immediate energy, protein and stored body fat. This was a life changing experience! He was always on time and the quality of work was outstanding!!. Brandon answered all of my questions and always offered tips on things to do outside of the gym (races, track, hiking, sports etc). I work out with Phil Nicolaou twice a week. I started out slow as all I did prior was use the treadmill. I have increased my endurance and strength training due to his encouragement. Starting my personal training at Passion for Fitness is the best thing that Ive ever done for myself! I traded many e-mails with Joe prior to our first consultation and when we met, I knew that PFF would be different and Ive tried everything. We talked about my goals and how to achieve them. Our meeting wasnt rushed or high pressure, which I appreciated. I started PFF in June and have worked primarily with Jackie and she is amazing! I feel stronger and have more energy. Jackie has pushed me out of my exercise comfort zone and is teaching me how to exercise the correct way and get results. All of the PFF trainers are very knowledgeable, friendly, and have a passion for what they do. I like that my session is customized especially for me Ive never had the same training session twice! When I met Andre he took time to listen to my goals and workout style. We started out gradual and overtime we increased the intensity of the workouts and met 2 to 3x a week. I am so glad that I found Tony. He was super quick to answer me and made the process so simple. We spoke on Tuesday and I was in the door Wednesday. I had my first meeting with him tonight and he had me moving!!! Tony is very knowledgeable and encouraging. I know that he can help me get to where I want to be. The gym is so clean and private it made me feel very comfortable. The workout was intense but I know that I will get stronger. I can't wait for my next session on Saturday! I've been training for sports at an intense level since I was 14 years old. I am now 26 and continue to strive to stay in great shape even though I am no longer playing sports. Keith does a great job of communication and helping me reach goals we set out. If there is something that needs to get done. Keith goes over and beyond to make sure my goal is just as important as his. Working with a teammate like Keith is very helpful when training and trying to maximize my performance no matter what the challenges are ahead. I highly recommend him to any athlete any age and any gender. He will make you feel comfortable and get to work while having fun along the way. Keith enjoys the process of helping others and making sure you better yourself everyday.
I had the pleasure of working with Tav in both group and one and one sessions. He is both experienced & committed to helping reach and exceed all possible fitness goals. I started with Tav training once a week, as part of a group class, and really enjoyed the variety and challenges he put into each class. Every week was different, from circuit training to hiit intervals, weights and much more. I was also able to have personal one-on-one session as well! They were equally challenging yet somehow fun and a good variety of exercises. He is supportive and encourages you in a positive way to help achieve all goals that were set. Working with Tav, my fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights and generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts with him. Most Importantly: He alway made sure that my technique was correct to avoid any injuries and provided tips and ideas on how to continue to challenge myself. He is reliable and is always ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned out for that session. I first started working with Tom about two years after the birth of my first child. I have worked with him in a group setting and as an individual. Having been a college athlete, I wanted an experience where I would be pushed but maintain an understanding that I was no longer a college athlete and now also a Mom. Tom tailored workouts to my own limitations but did not compromise the intensity. He has a contagious passion for wellness and maintains the reality that he is a tool used towards an individual's /teams' success. I have religiously doing High Intensity Interval Training wth Danielle for over two years!! Never been in better shape or better spirits! It is a stellar class for all fitness levels and I assure you I do some modifications. Her class never gets easier as it is constantly changing, challenging and striving to make us ALL better!
Fitness options available are great. The place can use some improvement like having mirrors installed even in just one side of the wall, so participants can see if the execution of the exercise/training is right.

The service was gr8. I recvd high intensity workout and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was able to target muscle groups that I wasn't sure how to target. There was a lot of creativity with Jana. My only complaint is that the hour went by way 2 fast... :-D
Beth is a terrific trainer! I am very pleased with how she helped me prepare for my Mt. Kilimanjaro climb. She gained an understanding of the climb profile and trekking demands, and then created a training plan to suit my schedule. My plan included endurance, interval, and strength training. She is an expert in all three of these areas. Additionally, Beth advised me on hydration and nutrition strategies, both in general and for the climb specifically. She was always enthusiastic, communicative, and prompt. My positive trekking experience was largely due to Beth's efforts. Her dedication to client's success is genuine. She'll always work hard to help individuals reach their goals!
KILLER WORKOUTS!!! Jeanine is so inspiring and continuously provides fun and exciting workouts. I've been working out with her for a couple months now and I've never been stronger physically or mentally. I love how I never do the same workout twice - each time I have a session, more challenges are brought to the table. The workouts balance high energy interval training and weight training, but also focus on balance and flexibility. I've never been so toned!

Steve was our personal trainer for nearly a year. We were referred to him by a physical therapist as a way to strengthen and reduce pain in my fiance's back. Steve's emphasis on form and proper training technique significantly improved his back pain (when nothing else seemed to be working!), while simultaneously helping him to strengthen his back and surrounding muscles. We had a fantastic experience with Steve - he was professional, knowledgeable and developed personalized workouts that were customized to our ability and fitness goals.
