Dewayne has been a great trainer for my husband and me! We hired Dewayne when we were preparing for our wedding and decided to continue training with him after because of the great routine that we were in. Each workout is different and difficult in its own way and we always feel like we are getting pushed to work harder. Another perk is that Dewayne meets us at the gym in our apartment building, which is super convenient. Overall, we have been very happy with our training experience with Dewayne and would definitely recommend him!
I've been training with Rhonda for almost one year. I started two months before my wedding and on my wedding day, I remember feeling so happy with the way I looked! I had never felt this fit and toned before,all thanks to Rhonda! I'm much more confident about working out in the gym and not intimidated by all those machines and weights. She's not only dedicated to her work but is extremely passionate about living a healthy life. She values each client and time flies when I train with her. Shes an excellent trainer and a wonderful person!
Charles is great trainer all around. His training style uses many techniques and stuff I would never of done on my own. He also gives you training ideas to do on your own. He has a lot of equipment and every session is different. I would recommend him to anyone.
Waking up at 6am is difficult and being energized is even more challenging. But Peter is able to keep me focused, engaged and enthusiastic with my 6am workouts and I leave feeling great and ready to tackle the day. He has listened to my workout goals and developed a personalized workout plan for me. I feel like I am working out more effectively than ever before and I can't wait to see the results (I am only a week in). I was impressed the first session when he said that it was a better use of his and my time if I did my cardio warm-up before he arrived so that I wasn't paying him to watch me run on a treadmill - I feel like that showed he respected that I was paying for training and he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth. Peter has also given me great advice about nutrition and workouts outside of my training sessions with him. I feel like he knows his stuff and will ensure I don't injure myself or strain anything while at the same time pushing myself beyond what I think I can do. I feel great and I'm very satisfied so far and would recommend him as a trainer to anyone.
I took a course called the Art of Fitness at NYU and Maik Wiedenbach was my teacher. I took this course because I had had too many mediocre trainers in NY and I felt so bombarded by trendy diets and training fads that the fitness industry left me feeling lost and confused. Maik's course was so enlightening, he thought me so much about fitness and nutrition. I was really impressed by his knowledge and his ease and ability to teach it to the students. I was so glad to learn he was also a personal trainer and taking new clients. I've been training with Maik and his team for 4 months and I've been even more impressed. Despite all the knowledge and experience that alone would set him above all the rest, he also possesses the most important attribute that makes him a great trainer: he truly cares to see you succeed. If you're ready to do your part and put in the work, whatever shape you are in when you first meet with him, he can guide you to achieve your goals. And for those who don't like the gym, good news! He also makes it fun and the session is over before you know it!
Signing up with NBI Fitness is probably one of the best things I could've ever done for myself. Trinnie and Gilbert are great and are currently helping me reach my dream health/body goals. The trainers truly care about their clients and are always pushing me to make sure I am doing all that is necessary to lose weight, tone up and build a healthy life style for myself. They also tell you what you should and should not be eating according to your fitness goal. Most importantly, I work and go to school full time therefore, it is difficult to work out with such a hectic schedule, BUT they literally make sure to work with whatever times works best for me even if its going out of their way. The cost, overall results and amazing customer service is really worth it and would recommend NBI Fitness to anyone who wants to tone up, lose weight, and get on track with their fitness goals.
Rich helped train me for my season on track and field for college. He prepared me during pre season and helped me improve during the season as well. From my first year without him to my second year with his help there was a DRAMATIC difference. I did not belong on the team before, because my performance was so mediocre. After training with rich I rose to the top of my team and made it to the national competition. He helped me learn to life weights properly and efficiently to help me reach a specific goal. I also gained a lot of confidence and body awareness because he helped me reach my potential! He is a great trainer because it is like working with a friend. Recommend!!
Jordan is seriously amazing! I have always been kind of skeptical about personal training because I always thought it was for the "meat head" guys or the elderly but I took a risk because 1) I wanted to improve my body/health and 2) because Jordan seemed super cool when we talked before the consultation. Also, he's gay-friendly. I tell you, I'm a hand full to put up with and this straight ally seriously doesn't judge or make me feel uncomfortable (which is amazing). As a gay man, many of us worry about the chemistry/vibe of interactions with our heterosexual counterparts whether it's at the barbershop, gym or bar but, there's no worry when training with this guy! I mean he's not gonna sing "I'm coming out" with you but he'll definitely provide many laughs! As far as working out is concerned, his workouts will kick your ass! He's very observant to see how far you can go and will encourage you to go further. I highly recommend him whether you're gay, straight, black or white, crazy or sane :-) I immediately booked a package with him after our 1st sesssion because I enjoying working out with him! But I have to say, as much as I rave about him, he did tell me to consider weight watchers and I almost hit him with my shoe haha. But I'm sure it probably it would be smart choice but I refuse to count points or calories haha. Book him are my final words for this review:-)
I can’t say enough wonderful things about MFG. I have PCOS and as a result, losing the weight has been tougher than ever. I’ve tried various trainers and other exercise regiments over the years. Nothing worked and nothing could help keep me motivated. Fast forward to me finding MFG. Within a day of posting a search for a trainer, Erika from MFG reached out. Erika was so thoughtful, easy to talk to, and dedicated to setting me up with a trainer that could work best with me. Moreover, my schedule tends to be utterly inconsistent and all over the place. Despite it taking me a couple of month to sign up (I had surgery shortly after talking to Erika), I was so focused on getting my health and fitness back on the track to wellness. Even during my surgery and hospitalization, Erika sent me text messages that gave me motivation and support. Truly, Erika, if you’re reading this, that meant the world to me! Once I got clearance to workout, I was set up with Ashley, who in one word is AWESOME. She has PCOS too, so she’s able to give me tips about eating a clean diet that’s good for PCOS sufferers. On top of that, Ashley is so flexible with what times and days she can come by. As someone who thought they hated to workout, thanks to Ashley, I genuinely look forward to post-workout soreness. She got a girl who works 12+ hour days, to work out 6x a week. In short, i can’t say enough wonderful things about MFG. They’re truly caring, super- knowledgeable, motivating and life-changing!
Carmen is very thorough and smart. She explains why she has you do each workout so you understand the training she puts you through. She is on time and communicates very effectively.

I had not exercised in in a few years and know from experience that I would hurt myself if I did not have a professional at my side. Kelly taught me more about building my strength than I have ever known. I also learned many exercises that are easy to do at home. I'm stronger and much more confident that I can continue to build a program without hurting myself now. We definitely achieved some goals for me. Kelly was easy to work with and fun. When I first met Ainsely Waugh, I was having a hard time losing weight and toning my body. I was already working out for six months and didn't understand why I was having such a hard time accomplishing my goal. It was December 2014 when I met Ainsely and he noticed how frustrated I was and wanted to help me accomplish my goal, so I thought why not give it a try with him. Ainsely not only helped me with my workouts but he also gave me a meal plan to follow. It was amazing!! After one month of using his meal plan and him working out with me I lost 12 pounds and also turned fat into lean muscle! I never realized the foods that I thought were healthy choices, actually weren't and those unhealthy choices played a part in me keeping the weight on. Not only after a month of his nutrition plan helping me lose weight but my metabolism wasn't sluggish because of the structure of the meal plan and the times of day/night I should be eating. In regards to his workouts, he not only pushes you but he motivates you to keep going. Since, he is a World Class Professional Track and Field Athlete for Jamaica, he has a great understanding what workouts will work for you and what workouts are a waste of time. To this day January 2016, I still workout with Ainsely and he helps me maintain the weight and body I am finally happy with. I not only recommend Ainsely for the people who just want to live a healthier life style, look and feel great but also to those up and coming athletes who are looking for improvement. He is very knowledgeable in athletics, hence did I mention he is a World Class Professional Track and Field Athlete for Jamaica ;).
George wemt above and beyond. After being sidelined with an IT band injury in the middle of training for a marathon, George assured me that I would be back up and running in no time, with the proper care. He spent nearly an hour working with me on purely foam rolling, and then spent the time to walk through strength exercises to prevent further or recurring injury. He even helped establish what foods would help in my training, both during recovery and during the training itself. I provide the highest recommendation for George!
My experience with Workout with Wes was great. He was very professional and had a high standard for himself for work quality. Wes helped me stay on track with my nutrition, diet, and helped me get back in to shape. The workouts were great and I always felt like I was getting closer to my goal each day.
I have been working with John for over a year and a half now and have been amazed and very pleased with the results achieved every step of the way. My most recent goal was to lose some weight, get rid of the nagging fat around by abdomen and thigh area and be able to achieve an overall sculpted/muscular physique in the process. As I was approaching the age of 50, I wondered if it was ever possible to achieve these goals, especially to be able to build muscle at this stage in my life. With his positive approach, John has been working twice a week with me consistently on a great strength training program coupled with an appropriate effective meal plan. Through his strength training program, Ive learned about specific exercises used to target different muscle groups using proper form, increased intensities and repetitions. John has always been encouraging in pushing me to do more than I realize I can, even when I whine. He always seems to know how much you can really do and is really genuinely interested in helping you to succeed as you progress every step of the way. I even managed to dead lift up to 200 pounds. Wow, I never imagined Id ever be able to do that! One thing that has really impressed me about John is his deep understanding on the physiology of the human body from body building, effects of injuries, metabolism, hormones, fat burning capabilities, effects of food and environmental factors on the body and much more. Its nice to know that you can ask him anything and get a detailed full answer from him. Its not all about just how to do exercises, there is more involved in achieving overall health and fitness and John can certainly educate you on that. John is a true Professional and Master in his field. As of now I lost all the weight I wanted to lose/decreased my body fat, achieved my desired sculpted look through obvious definition to my waist/abdomen, back, arms, glutes, and legs. Ive learn how to eat better and healthier foods. Now 50, I look fit, feel stronger and more energized than ever. At 115 lbs., 5 1 tall, Im definitely where I want to be. If you want to make a change to look and feel great and healthier, then John is the man to see. You wont be disappointed.
Iosif is a phenomenal trainer and teacher. I’ve been training since 2011 however once I started training with Iosif in 2017, he has taught me new, innovative ways to train I’ve never thought of. He is creative with his routines and spot on with his nutrition plans. He pushes me to my limits, then helps me surpass my limits the next session. Iosif makes the session fun and my knowledge, confidence, strength, and goals have increased beyond my wildest imagination!
I met Will and we discussed my goals that I want to reach and what are the requirements and I was provided with a diet plan. At the beginning I thought it will be hard to be on a diet but it was for the best for my health. Any question I've had about the food or the trainings was answered right away even by a text message. Training with Will and his team is so challenging in a very good way. They have a very positive way to make you believe in your inner strength and give you the trainings that will work the best for you. Great teamwork and the best trainers ever.
I did 3 training sesions with Frankie 2 years ago that changed my workout compleatly. With diet and new workout routine I lost about 15 pounds. Frankie really took the time to show me how to correctly lift and build muscle. Later I bought several sessions for a friend who was working hard at the gym but could not achieve his goal. After 3 sesions with Frankie. He was so impressed he now has Frankie as a full time trainer. My friend looks better then ever and its because of Frankie's training and great personality.
Working with Jonathan has changed my life greatly. Being middle age and not working out in years.
