I've certainly had my go with trainers, but my experience with Jaisen surpasses them all. He helped me identify my goals and ideally create an action plan to reach them. I've done crossfit and several extreme workouts;however, Jaisen's guidance and training was far more effective. His expertise and professionalism are expansive. Not only I would train with him again, I am looking forward to it.
I am upcoming professional wrestler and I need to make sure I'm physically fit to jump off the ropes and land on my opponents. I have to be prepared for acrobatic stunts and Jess has prepared me with strength training. I gained 12 pounds of muscle and I bbelieve I can gain more with Jess. Thanks for the extra push, Jess
I have known Eddie Maresca for about 3 years, he has been my PT for the better part of that time. He has pushed me to do things I never thought were possible for me. I fell in love with lifting and Crossfit thanks to him. My body, strength and confidence have been transformed. Eddie is an unbelievably talented coach, he had this innate way of knowing what his clients can do, what they can't, and when we are just whining. I have accomplished fitness goals that I never thought possible. Personally, I hate running, but not only was I able to run, I started to enjoy it. I unfortunately have suffered an unrelated injury, but as soon as I get the okay I am back in his gym. Eddie will take the first session to evaluate what your needs are, where there are limitations and take the time to teach you proper form and alignment. In my experience with other trainers, there have been quite a few, no one has ever taken the time to teach me the things necessary to not get injured in the box. Eddie's first concern is always safety. Like other places, he will not overbook his classes and makes sure that everyone is performing the the exercise properly. During PT sessions you will have undivided attention and a truly hands on experience. I have always felt safe knowing he pays attention to what his clients are doing and correcting if need be. Eddie clearly has a passion for what he does, it shows through in every aspect of his training. He also provides diet and nutrition plans for those who want them. Eddie will push his clients to greatness, don't miss out on training with him.
So, I may be a tad biased because Eddy is my husband :) However, that being said, it probably makes me his most difficult client! Eddy is personally and deeply invested in my health and wellness and I can be challenging to work with. But over the past year and ½ he has stayed his course and helped me to feel the best physically I ever remember feeling. Ive always had back issues and about 2 ½ years ago underwent surgery for a herniated disc. After that I was terrified to do anything even remotely capable of hurting my back again. Just jumping up and down in place gave me anxiety. So he started me slowly, working on strengthening my core to protect my back, and building overall strength through my entire body. I am now proud to say that Ive gone from being scared to jump in place to doing deadlifts, weighted barbell squats and Zumba classes multiple times a week. Im even going to obtain a certification to start teaching Zumba! And all of this in my mid-thirties, after back surgery, and after convincing myself that how I was in that moment was the best Id ever be. Eddy changed all of that. He was patient through my negativity and stern when I would slack. Im strong both physically and mentally and I have Eddy to thank for it! Ive had the opportunity to speak with many of his clients and they say not only is he a trainer, but he is a friend and a confidante. Someone they can confide in even though thats not what they are paying him for! Im so proud to call him my trainer and husband. And you would be too (trainer, not husband!)
Carlos is one of the best trainers out there. He honestly does a fantastic job of designing workouts specifically for me that will work out my whole body and help target problem area. He follows up about my nutrition by sending me plenty of information and guiding me through the process of both eating right and exercising.
My experience with Ms. Antoine was very rewarding as well as very informative. I was enrolled in one of her Boot Camp classes and it was amazing. She helped me to accomplish a lot of small goals with exercise routines modified just for me, it made it so easy to keep up. My motivation grew immensely while continuing on the right path to losing weight and eating right, without wanting to drop out because of the intensity. The aches and pains were well worth it, Dailande is an intelligent and hardworking woman who I would recommend to any and everybody. Although I fell behind due to having a child and a busy work schedule I know I can turn to her and get right back on track. Thank you for all your positivity and the mental kick in the butt to stop being lazy and do those burpees, jumping jacks, wall squats and my not so favorite cat walk.
Neli is fantastic! I found him very professional, experienced, knowledgable, kind, approachable and super easy to work with. This is the first time I have PT, and I consider myself very lucky to have found Neli because it's really not easy to find someone that you feel comfortable to work with. For me to have PT, the goal is to practice my vertical jump, strengthen my core and gain more muscle since I am a volleyball player, and with 4 classes now, I am already feeling the difference. Seriously, I highly recommend Neli to anyone who is looking for PT. :)
Kevin is truly a ' best in world' trainer. I can't say enough about Kevin but please read this and hopefully you'll have a better idea of how he has changed my life on a very personal level. I have severe health issues and take lots of medicine. My doctors told me i need to work out with someone who can handle the complexities of my case to build bone density and I was lucky enough to find Kevin. He is like a personal trainer, chiro, physical therapist and friend all wrapped up on one. He is so committed to helping me have the best quality of life and so well versed on many things I trust him implicitly and consider him part of the core team working to make me better. I've had the oppty to work with trainers in many states who were all supposedly the best and can say that Kevin is in a league of his own. He is so creative and comes up with a different ways to challenge me, make it fun, change it up, incorporate things to help build core and posture overall and bring things into the mix like boxing that he knows I really like. I truly look forward to our sessions and always feel better afterwards, it's been great to see the progress and my doctors are thrilled that I was so lucky to find him- he has blown away any expectations. Whether you have health challenges or are training for the army or wanna look good for your wedding or the summer bathing suit season Kevin will not only help you achieve your goals but will quickly become part of your way of life. I can't say enough about Kevin and his dedication, expertise, continual desire to learn more ways to help and just being a cool guy and easy to laugh with-if you are lucky enough like me to work with Kevin you should jump at the oppty! Seriously, he is worlds best trainer.
Alex worked with me for over four years in NYC. What began as a physical therapy program evolved to an ongoing cardio/core/sculpting customized routine. From the indoors to the outdoors, from gym equipment to a jump rope, he constantly challenged me. We also focused on diet and nutrition. As a result, I achieved my ideal weight and body fat and learned many fitness concepts that I still utilize as a resident now of Los Angeles.
One of the best trainers I've ever worked with. I felt great after each workout and looked forward to them. Very happy, upbeat personality and makes it fun. Very knowledgeable and shows he cares about your session.
I was looking for a local trainer to help me jump back into strength training after a series of knee and abdominal injuries. Chris has been great! He challenges me without pushing me past my comfort level with my injuries. He is calm and encouraging (I don't like ppl yelling at me to pump me up), and he's always prepared with different full-body circuit workouts at our meetings. His hourly rate is also affordable. Highly recommended.
She was amazing for jump starting my fitness journey. She was punctual and very knowledgeable about the human body and its function. She was also excellent with nutrition and helped me to lose 25 lbs over 4 months!
Emma's a wonderful trainer! Enthusiastic without being overbearing or pedantic. Attentive, knowledgable, focused, engaged, and, most importantly, very thoughtful about her mission to get you fit. She really has an intuitive sense of what your body needs, where you're at physically, and how much or how little you need on any given day. And her workouts are definitely not your average workouts! Each day the exercises are very different, not only different muscle groups, but workouts for different goals (stamina, strength, tone, etc). One day you'll be mixing up cardio and strength exercises, the next you'll be doing slow-burn stamina exercises with periodic blasts of boxing. Compound exercises, isometrics, plyometrics, kettle balls, bosu balls, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, skipping rope - she'll throw them all at you. Never, ever monotonous. After two years of training with her, I'm still discovering different ways to engage my body, still becoming more aware of my fitness level on a more holistic level, and I love that! She's pretty nice too. (though telling her that won't get you an easier workout. I tried!) She'll push you, she'll nudge you, she'll will you into better shape. And you're going to love it. The best.
Since the day we start to train together (2007-2009) we become great friends. You helped me a lot with my artistic gymnastic, jumps and flexibility, moreover, you are a great motivator full of positive energy and knowlege about how to reach the goals, my goals. They are coming, in two weeks we'll do a performance for Los Cafres in Teatro Opera. Thank you Jose, keep on inspiring, teaching, helping and training other people to make their a better life.
What I love about the class is the sense that we are all in this together. New moms, working moms, stay-at-home moms and moms with one or more kids all with a common goal to work out as best as we can while providing a fun and safe environment for our kids. You get to be outdoors (indoors for poor weather), workout (which ultimately makes you feel fantastic) and you still get to bring your little one(s) along. Kim is a great trainer! She works closely with you to ensure you arent injuring yourself while still pushing you to achieve your personal workout goals. Her exercise plans are well thought out and include using ladders, weights, jump ropes and just generally working with the surroundings to get an all-round balanced workout.
I'm really happy I used Masaki to help me get fit. So far I've done 12 sessions with him, two times a week for the past six weeks. I've already lost two inches off my waist and am leaner all over. Because of the stretches he includes in the workout I'm also more flexible. Other things I like about working with him: - He's always on time. - I have a problem with my shoulder (frozen shoulder), he remembers and is careful with it. - The jump rope technique he taught me is great cardio, and it's even fun. - He uses exercises that use my own body weight a lot, which means I'm learning exercises I can do anywhere. - He's very reasonable. I'm very satisfied and will continue to work with him.
At the age 47 and a little out of shape, I needed to get in top physical shape for a police academy. (In New Jersey the age limit for police officers is 35, but there is no age limit for correction and sheriffs dept)...... so I new if I wanted this job in corrections, I had to be ready, and if anybody has been to any police academy, you know it's a para military atmosphere. Screaming at you from day one, not caring about your feelings. Their only concerns is that you will be physically and mentally strong in law enforcement environment. The first Day I walked in, I talked to Bob about my mental and physical weaknesses, and he told me not to worry, and to listen to everything he had to say moving forward. I literally felt at ease from that moment on. Now it wasn't always easy, Bob pushed my mental and physical abilities beyond I thought I could ever reach, and after 6 months of running, sprinting,spinning,rowing,pull-ups, push-ups, weight training, jump roap, etc., I found myself in the best physical and mental shape of my life. Bob is more than just a trainer, he is a trainer, a life coach, a friend, (and even an enemy, lol when he had to be). I am proud to say that on July 12, 2016 I graduated as a New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission corrections officer, cycle 29 and have been working in the jail ever since, and I couldn't be happier about my new career in law enforcement, but most of all, I couldn't of been happier about the choice I made walking into Bob's studio, because I know I could have never done it on my own. Sometimes in life we need a little help to get to the next level, and that's why I made the investment in myself to get to the next level with Bob Pelsang!!!!! Sincerely, S.C.O. T. Venezio
I love this gym! Mark just reopened it under a new name. It is a very relaxed place with folks from all different walks of life working out. There is also a broad range of what folks want to do there -- so there are people who are very serious about weightlifting, as well as folks who just want to jump on the elliptical for a 1/2 an hour. I feel very comfortable there. Mark is a fantastic trainer and has a wonderful personality for running a gym. Please come by! I'll see you there!
I've done several plans with different trainers and this is the first realistic plan that I've ever done. Both the meal and workout plan! Awesomeness!!
I teach group exercise classes, focusing on fitness and conditioning. I love working with kids. I also can teach mat and dance fusion classes. Creating innovate movement ideas through exploration and experience interests me.
Curtis is currently helping me lose weight in my building's gym. Using tried-and-true methods (jumping jacks, squats, push-ups, etc) I'm achieving better results than with my previous trainers' latest-and-greatest workout trick. He worksout with me, which is motivating. We stretch briefly before every session. He typically ends with boxing which is fun and nice to learn from someone who knows the sport. Even with the snow storm, he's consistently been on time. He brings tools to my gym and offers his service at his home gym as well. Most important - he's a nice guy, fun to workout with WHILE at the same time pushing you. I went to sit down to catch my breath on our first session and he said something like 'no sitting til we're done'. I was a little shocked (and scared) but I'm very glad we continued as he's excellent trainer and I can tell I will see results.
