Waking up at 6am is difficult and being energized is even more challenging. But Peter is able to keep me focused, engaged and enthusiastic with my 6am workouts and I leave feeling great and ready to tackle the day. He has listened to my workout goals and developed a personalized workout plan for me. I feel like I am working out more effectively than ever before and I can't wait to see the results (I am only a week in). I was impressed the first session when he said that it was a better use of his and my time if I did my cardio warm-up before he arrived so that I wasn't paying him to watch me run on a treadmill - I feel like that showed he respected that I was paying for training and he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth. Peter has also given me great advice about nutrition and workouts outside of my training sessions with him. I feel like he knows his stuff and will ensure I don't injure myself or strain anything while at the same time pushing myself beyond what I think I can do. I feel great and I'm very satisfied so far and would recommend him as a trainer to anyone.
IK Fitness is wayyy above the rest. Ian is knowledgeable in all aspects of training, nutrition and fitness. I started with him in 2005. He provided a whole plan of cardio, weight training, and nutrition. He allowed me to achieve my goals, was forever encouraging and always ready to push me when I got lazy! The workouts are great and never boring, but the best part of Ian is the follow up he provided when I wasn't in the gym, just to check in on my progress!!! Super professional

I trained with this company back in LA and you have no idea how happy I am that they have trainers in NYC as well! The training packages are a great deal and it's a huge plus that their trainers are well informed when it comes to nutrition. Over the years I've worked with 3 other trainers and I would have to say that working with John has been the best. His knowledge, of not only exercise, but nutrition, supplements and rehab protocols gives you a one stop shop to help you completely transform your body. Before training with Justin, I have worked with other trainers in the past and been training with weights for several years but was having a hard time getting shredded and working through a shoulder injury. He customized my nutrition plan to something that was effective and practical, introduced me to some interesting and intense HIIT workouts and finally got me down to around 12% bodyfat while maintaining & building some good muscle. Under his training I was also able to correct minor issues with my form that helped me train injury free. John trained me for over two years. The only reason I stopped training with him was that I moved over 40 minutes away. He helped me learn about proper technique and how to work all of the equipment properly. John was always willing to help answering texts about nutrition and diet information. Our family has interacting with Michael Demakis on various levels. My daughter, a soccer player, has worked with Mr. Demakis on strength and agility for approximately the last 2.5 years in preparation for, and now playing college soccer.
