I hired Sweet Harmony musicians for our wedding October 2016. The piano/violin duo played beautifully for our ceremony. They were punctual and professional, well dressed young ladies who really set the tone for our ceremony. The pianist came two days earlier for our rehearsal. We had a harpist play for the entry to the reception and everyone was amazed. These musicians are awesomely talented. Last month I experienced the death of my grandfather and the night before the funeral service our pianist became unavailable. I immediately thought of Sweet Harmony. Not only did Tara answer her phone after 9pm but she connected me with an amazing pianist who played beautifully for the service the next day without any time to practice. He was respectable and kind. He even played an extra selection that was not initially requested. Where would we have been without Sweet Harmony? I will always keep them in mind for any function. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. The Bobcombe-Ahmad Family

I've played with Jimi since the first time I picked up the instrument (bass for 11 years). Lessons with him enabled me to play in big bands and small ensembles at the college level, as well as have a steady stream of gigs when I was in school. His method of teaching is sadly growing rarer and rarer in private lesson study. Rather than mandate to the student rote musical examples which are a.) boring and b.) relate nothing about learning actual music, Jimi's approach is a holistic one that has faith in pupil's drive and intelligence. He demonstrates aspects of music theory fundamentals, and then has the student utilize the formulas he has imparted to extrapolate the rest, with his guidance of course. If the student has trouble, Jimi instructs to fill in the gaps but never spoon feeds. This method insures the student actually learns and internalizes the information, rather than becomes an automaton. Moreover, Jimi encourages the students to bring in pieces that they actually like to play! So instead of spending months hammering out a highly diluted version of a Bach morning song, the student can bring in pieces by Zep, the Strokes, the Black Keys, Rihanna, whatever! Jimi then instructs through elucidating the music theory fundamentals within the songs that drew the student to the instrument in the first place! Jimi is professional, yet laid back. I have continued my friendship with him after studying and going on to professional life. He's just a good dude to know. Lastly, and this should be the last thing you consider. Jimi's rates are always reasonable. For private study in college, I paid 3-4 times as much for a lesson as what I paid when taking a lesson with Jimi. I hope you Long Islander aspiring musicians realize what a gem you have there.

Patrick and his staff hit it outta the park! Patrick and team showed up early, stayed late, and had smiles on their faces the whole time! Before the event we met with Patrick to go through the whole run of show. We also had lots of phone calls to go through specifics as details changed up until the last minute. My fiancé is controlling (to say the least) and hard to please, and she was beyond happy with their work! On the day of the wedding, the team was professional and fast acting. We had SO many moving parts to our wedding and 160 guests! We were really worried about it going smoothly. We were mentally prepared for hiccups, but there were NONE! Everything was easy and smooth and our guests were SO happy! And Patrick stayed cool and calm the whole time. We highly recommend Patrick and Ultimate Affairs for any event! I would use them again in a heartbeat. We are so happy we found Patrick & Ultimate Affairs. Do yourself a favor on contact this guy! Even just talking to him on the phone will put you at ease :)

Sean and his band provided ideal lively jazz music at a local event. They were super easy to communicate with beforehand, and they played beautifully to a large very appreciative crowd. I strongly recommend them.

Josh and his group performed at my wedding this past Saturday and were nothing short of phenomenal. The number of guests that came up to me and my fiancé raving about their performance was incredible. They played an amazing set that included a wide variety of music that everyone enjoyed - several times we ran out of room on the actual dance floor and people continued dancing outside the designated area which was great. I am definitely going to recommend them to my friends and family, as well as reach out again in the future if we need another performance. Thanks again Josh - you guys really made our wedding special and we'll never forget it. -Garrett & Tracy

Terrence is a great professional and music teacher. He gave instruction to one of my children on the piano. He even played the wedding march on the organ at my wedding and it was truly an outstanding performance.

My wife and I are extremely happy that we hired Mariko as the solo violinist at our Central Park, NY wedding on 11/16/2014. She is a super talented musician and a very friendly person. All of our interactions with her has been wonderful. Since my wedding was outdoors in Central Park, on a cold and windy day, Mariko was initially concerned that the weather may damage her equipment. But she quickly found a solution for us by offering to rent a violin so she can still play at the wedding. She showed up early to the ceremony location (before we even got there). We asked her to play "Canon in D" along with any songs that she feels would suit the occasion. Needless to say, all the songs she chose were romantic and sounded perfect for our wedding. My wife and I received many compliments from our guest about Mariko. We would definitely recommend Mariko to play at any special events.

They did my daughter's wedding and absolutely did an amazing job! It was a seamless process, and much less stressful than I thought. Anthony and Kerry had the entire dance-floor going the entire night. Their LuxePod photo booth was perfect! The lighting was gorgeous and completely transformed the catering hall. Couldn't ask for more! Thank you so much guys!

Marla Mase is an extraordinary event planner, creator of party magic and Producer! After having been in the business for a couple of decades and working in so many different venues, types of events, parties and performances, Marla has an incredible team. She’s amassed a phenomenal, devoted group of performers, artists, designers & caterers whom she employs at all her parties, depending on need and skill set. I have worked with Marla on several creative projects and events and had a ball working with her. She is the ultimate professional, but always works in a relaxed, easygoing fashion. She is open to discussion and will always brainstorm to bring ones vision to life. Recently she produced a Rock show and party in Tribeca for me that hosted an amazing band, along with several international actors, dancers and singers. Marla hired one of her designers to transform the old Tribeca firehouse into an underworld of sea creatures and magic. It was spectacular. The food was a beautifully abundant array of hors devours and beverages. Hailing from Tribeca and having worked in the New York area for so many years for hundreds of high-end clients, Marla is truly cutting edge. She has an eye for the unique, and is able to adapt to the vision of her client. Marla really gets the job done. She’s personable and lovely and I always feel I’m in good hands with her at the helm.

My husband and I hired the string quartet during our cocktail hour for our wedding this past weekend. Sabina and her team did an amazing job and our guest were all impressed by their ability to play all the current and great hits. The quartet added such a classy yet fun element to our cocktail hour and we are so glad we chose Sabina and her team to play! Sabina was easy to work with and we appreciated all her help in making our special day so wonderful! We’d recommend her 100%

I'm not a musician myself, but I was blown over by how easy Caroline was to work with and she is clearly a talented violinist--she helped make our wedding really beautiful. Some of my musician friends commented on how technically amazing her playing was, and I'd definitely defer to their thoughts on the music front :). I'd highly recommend Caroline to play at any event where music, professionalism, and quality really matters! Thanks, Caroline!

Thank you, Jonathan to you and your guys for playing such a good music with exceptional quality. All guests (young and older ones) gave me very good comments about the performance. We all enjoyed the selection of songs, the quality of play as well as the fact that all guests could sing and play together with the band. Also, appreciate your guys help with the little hiccup on the event schedule we had and adjusting yourself to our needs! Thank you again for the unforgettable night!
