Music Lessons and Academic Tutoring - Teach 2 Teach

    (13 reviews)

Teach 2 Teach is a unique company that provides high-quality music lessons structured around the students' goals - not designed with an agenda or strict curriculum in mind. Teachers identify the student's purpose in taking lessons and plan each lesson with that purpose in mind, taking into account the styles and genres of music their students are interested in. Each teacher is motivated to cultivate a love of music in their students, and it really shows through the fun, encouraging lessons they hold together. We believe that true mastery is displayed when students can "teach back" to the teacher key concepts they have learned. Throughout a lesson, a teacher may ask the student to demonstrate the musical technique that was just taught to them, and explain it as if the teacher were the student. This helps build confidence and true understanding in our students. If desired, students can even graduate from the T2T program to become teachers themselves! We are on the forefront of the internet music lessons movement, implementing both webcam lessons and online video courses. We also hold regular recitals, both live on stage and digitally through video recitals. The most enjoyable thing about working at Teach 2 Teach is seeing the progress our students make. Understanding concepts of scales, chords, rhythm, and notation is not an easy feat, but our teachers make learning fun, interesting, and achievable. We can see the difference week-to-week in our students' abilities, and that is very rewarding to us and our teachers. We have regular recitals both live on stage and through online videos, and we love to see our students' progress, and have them show it off for their friends and families!

    Amadeus Strings & Right Tune

    (1 reviews)

Musical studies began early for me. I started on piano at age 6. At age 10, I started trumpet in the school band and after, I got interested in the more traditional classical and church music. I hold a bachelor's degree from Yonsei University of Music and a master's degree from Brooklyn College of The City University of New York. I studied the trumpet with Douglas Hedwig (principal of Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) and Vincent Penzarella (a member of the New York Philharmonic). As a soloist, I performed with Yonsei USA Chamber Chorus and Orchestra (also known as the Underwood Chamber Orchestra) from 2004 to 2011 at Carnegie Hall for a Mission Concert. In addition to my performances with the Underwood Chamber Orchestra, Eun Jung Noh was a soloist in the Yonsei University Orchestra and Yonsei University Concert Band in 1993. I have also performed with the Karos Ensemble in 1994 and with the Yonsei Alumni Orchestra in 2002 both as a soloist.

Music Lessons and Academic Tutoring - Teach 2 Teach

(13 reviews)

We have always had a desire to have great influence with people to help the masses. We've also always had a deep love and appreciation for music and the arts. When we started up Teach 2 Teach, we had the goal of helping as many music students and music teachers as possible.

Jason and Kristina Roe operates Teach 2 Teach, a place where they teach students to master their musical instruments and even become successful professional music teachers as well. They established a system specialized for musicians and their learning needs. It was a struggle at first, but they still continue to perform what is best for the students as well as the teachers. The students they provide service for range from the young to the young-at-heart and with varying musical background.

Communication is everything! We usually meet with them on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. If we skip a week or two, its important for us to reach out to them and keep the next lesson date on the calendar.

Among the many success stories they have with their students, the digital recital is one of their highlight projects. They collect videos of their students playing, have it professionally edited, and share it online for the whole world to see.

Develop the musician in you and enroll with Jason and Kristina Roe
