I had a last minute move and Jameson Moving LLC saved me. I had them help pack the kitchen and a bunch of my stuff including a lot of crystals and minerals before we got on the road and they did a great job protecting everything, providing materials and finishing the job within a timely manner, the entire move out of the city only took around 3 hours, and one trip was enough with their big uHaul truck. I didn't lose any items, and everything was very organized thanks to Matt. I definitely recommend going with them if you don't know where to look, their deals are better than other moving companies and they're very efficient, friendly and understanding. Planning was very flexible, this is a company you can depend on. I now have a go to when I or anyone I know need to move.

While my movers were a few hours late due to a previous job that took longer than expected, Art kept me in the loop and made several phone calls to provide updates. I have a few awkwardly-shaped/heavy pieces of furniture that were handled with the utmost care. Plus, my movers were friendly, courteous, and helpful. My one comment is that the truck comes with two guys - which does prolong the time it takes. In the past, I've used moving companies with three workers - two to carry items in/out and one to load the truck - which expedites the process. In addition, I moved A LOT of boxes and bags myself prior to the move day, so most of the items moved were larger items that I couldn't carry myself. That being said, the price was reasonable and the guys were friendly. All in all, a solid experience. I would use them again.
Not enough stars to explain how amazing 1st Moving Corp is. A crew of 5 guys diligently worked together to move a 4,000 square foot home in ONE day. They brought a lot of my furniture/boxes to storage, which was an extra stop and was not charged a penny over the original price. The crew worked non-stop from 7am to 9pm, never asking for a thing. I had priced a nearby moving company which was more than double the price of 1st Moving. I am incredibly pleased with the cost, along with the work performed by Vlad's crew. Vlad couldn't of been more attentive during our move. His crew never allowed my family or I to lift a finger during the process. They were polite, careful, and courteous to our every request. The men were detail-oriented and cared about our belongings. I will continue to use 1st Moving in the future and will recommend this moving company to all others Vlad himself came to the job on 3 separate occasions, even though he constantly called to make sure I was happy with the progress of the move. I have had my share of movers but 1st Moving is second to none. There company stands out from the rest. Try them and you will be thanking me for the referral.
I was looking to have movers help me move in such a short notice (less than 24hrs). Ace kindly helped me with no rush charge or other contingency fees. We set the time to meet for the next morning at 9am. Two outstanding gentleman met me at my storage unit and begin working immediately (they were super quick). I was moving my one bedroom apartment and they were able to get everything into the truck within less than an hour! They also were able to help me move everything into my house quickly. They handle my items with care and treated them like they were their own. Needless to say, I would recommend Ace Movers to anyone looking for a quick, professional, and punctual job! I was so stressed out looking for last minute movers and eventually came across Thumbtack. It had me fill out information about my move and said moving companies would eventually reach out to me with quotes. I got disappointed because I figured no one would get back to me the day before New Year’s Eve...but ASAP Movers did and it was within 20 minutes! After seeing the quote, I decided to call...expecting to get disappointed given how last minute it was and because the holiday was coming up. Instead, I got the greatest news! They could come the following morning! It took 3.5 hours for the move (including the 45 minute drive to the new place) and they were so professional! I made sure to save all of their information because I will not be using any other company for my next move! I HIGHLY recommend them!
The whole process was seamless and efficient from the beggining. A representative made sure to be available and answer all of my questions, responding promptly and in detail. When move day came, the movers were on time, they made sure to confirm every detail again and began work on the spot. They were fast, careful and honestly the whole experience was impressive. Within 3 hours I was at my new place ready to go. It was all extremely affordable considering what other moving companies were willing to charge. It helped to have everything packed and ready to go, but I would definitely hire them again for my next move.
I had two other moving companies decline moving a large Norditrack treadmill from my garage to a 2nd story room. The guys at Centurion moved it without hesitation and without any damage to the walls. They even covered my wood floors to prevent any damage. I highly recommend this company.
I contacted 4 moving companies within a three day period to which no one responded. When I contacted Carlos 3 days later, since no one else responded to me, at 8:00 AM, my phone rang at 8:03 AM and he offered me the best deal and everything was prompt and smooth sailing from that moment on. They showed up exactly when they said they would be there, actually 15 minutes earlier, and made my move very quick and smooth. I would definitely give them a 10 star rating and recommend them for their prompt response, accommodations, professionalism and friendliness, not to mention the best price quote out of all the companies that I called. Carlos is very laid-back, very friendly, very accommodating and very easy to deal with.

Long story short: THIS is the guy you want for your next move. Now onto the details. I found Reggie and Co. (Movers For A Cause) on Thumbtack, and was offered an instant quote based on the size of my apt and length of workday. The two things customers are concerned about on a stressful moving day are 1.) Cost and 2.) Efficiency. The ability to provide a flat-rate quote eliminates the fine print and extras other moving companies tag on the bill (fuel surcharges, hourly rates with slow workers, etc.). The only extras I paid for were tolls (to and from) and packing supplies (just a couple boxes and tape, the rest I bought beforehand from Home Depot). Included in my 1-bedroom apt move were 3 guys loading, and 2 guys unloading. Packing technique is done no differently than other moving companies out there. Overall, the total price was very reasonable and I received everything I wanted without frustration. Today, I worked with Reggie, Rocky, and Andres. All 3 clearly love their work, and perform up to task. Communication prior to move was also a big plus. Concerns about scheduling, supplies, and timing were answered promptly and put my anxiety quickly at ease. No other moving company did this for me. The transparency throughout was very reassuring. In conclusion, moving isnt rocket science, but MFAC will get the job done, to your expectations, and with a friendly smile. I hope this referral serves you well. I have had to endure many moves in the past, and although this was simply moving 3 pieces of furniture from one location to another (100 miles apart) it was a good experience. Two of the pieces were quite large. Everything was wrapped well, and I felt these antiques were in good hands. In addition to getting your quote (mine was flat rate because I had 3 pieces and the dimensions and photos of each) my only advice would be to ask about the tolls, which were extra. As the driver of a car and not a truck (which has a different toll schedule depending on the size of the vehicle) you need to know what these charges will be for the route they plan on taking.
A&A are the best movers we have experienced. They were the most professional, attentive, organized, strong, and happy to help us. My experience with John Carson Relocation was related to a long distance (1000 miles) move of household goods, tools, and yard equipment. Mr. Carson is a friendly and straight forward person. He was always on time, and kept in contact with me throughout the planning, loading, and moving so there were no surprises or worries about the timing of activities. He has integrity with regard to taking care of his customers' goods and their property. In the case where some damage did occur, he was quick to acknowledge it and 100% willing to make things right. He also went the "extra mile" to mail a piece of hardware that, unknown to everyone (including me) at the time of unloading, came off a furniture item and ended up going back to Pennsylvania on the truck. My only criticism of the move would be that I believe more care could have been applied to the moving of large furniture pieces (especially a piano). This includes the physical moving from the house to the truck and the blanketing of the items prior to removal from the house. John was short-handed during the pick-up and unloading due to some people having the flu. Not having enough help made the job more difficult and made protection of the furniture less than it should have been. That said, with roughly 45 moving boxes of items shipped along with the furniture pieces, all the boxed items arrived in good shape with no blemishes or damage of any kind.
