I don't think we could have found a better chef. Laurajean Pittman is the best. The food was great, she was very personable and everyone loved her. To be able to feed 11 hungry guys takes a lot but she was able to do it with no problems and the layout was wonderful as well. I will definitely use her services again!!!

In our initial interview, Chef Travis asked many specific questions and took notes as we discussed the style of food I would like served. He annotated likes and dislikes. Together we have created several personalized menus. Chef Travis delivers restaurant excellence as he both prepares and serves the meal. Chef Travis is always prepared and well organized with a very positive attitude. Working with Chef Travis each time is pleasant and stress free. Every meal is delicious and precisely prepared. I greatly enjoy leftovers the next day! As a Chef, Travis is professional in every aspect. He cleans efficiently while preparing fine cuisine leaving behind a clean kitchen and delicious food. The only traces of Chef Travis are the lovely aromas and stocked refrigerator. I would highly recommend Chef Travis as a private chef. His service and customer service are exceptional. 5+++++ STARS From the time I was contacted by "Ecstasy Events by Char" with an initial bid , until completion, it was more than a pleasure. I initially did some research, looked at some pictures of food and read some reviews. I respond to the email. Charlene and I talked about the "No Pork" Menu, the # of people, budget, time, place, date etc. She knew exactly what I wanted and even threw in some ideas, which I loved because "THIS IS WHAT SHE LOVES TO DO" ! I actually hired her to do a 2 day drop-off service. She offered to give me a lil discount for hiring her for both events, which was very considerate. SMOTHERED CHICKEN IN SOUTHERN WINE GRAVY FRIED CATFISH FILETS W/BOTTLE OF HOT SAUCE & TARTAR SAUCE MACARONI & CHEESE BLACK EYED PEAS W/SMOKED TURKEY SEASONING MIXED GREENS W/SMOKED TURKEY SEASONING HOMESTYLE CORNY BREAD TWO (2) DOZEN RED VELVET CUPCAKES W/VANILLIA FROSTING MmMmMMMmmm Catfish and Greens were "To Die":) and everyone wished there was more!! The corney bread was different, I'd admit, but all the adults enjoyed it. It had real corn in it!! The picky kids would of preferred regular Jiffy from the box, with a ton of butter LOL. I'm so mad I didn't get a chance to have a Red Velvet Cupcake tho , By the time I turned around they were gone. I guess I should of known... hehe I was told they were so moist and frosting was perfect, not too sweet ! I'D LIKE TO PERSONALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH CHEF CHAR!!! I appreciate you, J'Nae & Derrick !!! This was my 1st event and far from the last. Can't wait till our next event or SUPER BOWL Party for our Team @ your house :) !! I had an evening party with approximately 35 people. Sin City BBQ arrived about an hour (5 pm) before the event and began the set-up. My quest, many of which were from Texas and they know a lot about BBQ and Brisket were extreme judges of quality BBQ. Well Steve and his help won the critics over. Everybody loved the entire spread. I got compliments that evening and days later. People asked for brochures and they really liked Steve's demeanor. Excellent Chef/Caterer. I will use Sin City BBQ again for my next BBQ party!!!!
This was the most fun I've ever had in the kitchen! Chef Howard was punctual, and very informative! I learned so much! His recipes are delicious! Chef Howard was very professional. What a wonderful experience. I look forward to every lesson! I highly recommend this service.
I hired Chef Marckende Pierre to do an in-home private chef & cooking lesson combo for my dad's 75th birthday. Chef Pierre created a fusion menu, he arrived early, and he prepared a fantastic meal. Marckende and my dad talked about all the different cooking methods, and my mom (who is a picky eater) said that she loved it. I have never hired a personal chef before. I feel like I stumbled upon a treasure. I would totally hire Chef Pierre again, and I would recommend him to a friend in a heartbeat

This was a gift for my daughter's graduation from college! She loves to eat good food, so why not! He was professional, punctual, and polite. The food was excellent. Even her 11 month old baby devoured the food. He offered 4 courses - appetizer, pasta, main course, and a sweet treat/dessert that was simply made but "out of this world" delicious!" And his price was quite reasonable. Will definitely call upon this che again! Thanks Chef Ricky for helping me give my daughter a unique gift. From her words, "iit was the best gift I ever received!"
It was magical - Chef Jeff Mauro showed up at our front door with two massive coolers and an arsenal of specialty chef supplies. Our kitchen became his playground as he turned every burner on high and let the four course festivities begin. Our daughter, who'd worked as a server in Jeff's Jam Restaurant for the summer, convinced Chef to cook dinner with her in our home before she went away to school. All I can say is WOW - we were in for an unexpected off-the-charts treat! We have been lucky enough to spend time seeking out exceptional dining experiences in Chicago, NYC & Paris from finding the perfect pancake to seeking out Michelin Star chefs going out on their own...and nothing compared to this evening. Chef Mauro is one of those people who's born to be a chef. His innate passion for food and commitment to detail shined with every course he crafted. Truly I didn't know food could taste so phenomenal. For the first course, Chef used ingredients from our garden to create an unbelievable heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad. For the second course, he prepared poached sea bass atop a bed of crispy green apple slaw. For the third course, Chef sliced and plated duck a l'orange besides a pillow of quinoa, topped with a poached quail egg and peppercorn garnish. And for course four, Chef seared the most tender venison medallions, accompanied by a house-made sauce and a sweet corn salad. Despite my course by course description, no words can do a night with Chef Mauro justice. It was so much fun. Chef engaged us every step of the way. He enlisted us in building the works of art that became our plates for each course. He paired wine with each course and described the "do's and don'ts" of cooking techniques and flavor pairings. And he created a truly unforgettable experience. 10/10 would recommend highly!
