I love Lori she is the sweetest and so funny. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and in tune with your own abilities. First thing she told me when we meet is my goal is to bring you back to yourself in build confidence! From that moment on I knew she was trustworthy, loyal and someone that could take me far in my teaching of both piano and voice.
I was very new to the music world when I signed up for basic lessons in singing on thumbtack. I took at least 15 lessons in three months with Ed Cohn. Beginning with breathing exercises, Ed has taught me very helpful vocal exercises using vowel sounds, Ed also taught me ear training techniques using Solfège. Ed also encouraged me to buy a keyboard to further improve my tone/pitch matching skills. I also learnt a thing or two about reading musical notes, understanding music scales, chords and rhythm.
I loved every voice lesson. Erica is truly and inspiration and she inspires me to work even harder to become a better sing and actor. Thank you so much Erica hope to return to voice lessons again soon. Thanks again.

Through our first 3 lessons, we've been very pleased in his handling of our son and his beginning lessons. Will definitely continue to see Austin and am encouraged by what we see.
I have two daughters who have studied with Amy for several years now. Piano and voice lessons, along with summer Glee Camp participation. Not only are they advancing in skill and technique, but they are also growing as artists. Amy has a positive, encouraging teaching style and offers many performing opportunities throughout the year. We are blessed to have Amy in our community, her talent and dedication to furthering the artistic endeavors of her students is inspirational.
Angus is an incredible voice teacher, and has done much to help me improve my singing skills. He has been very patient in my development, and is always easy to reach if I have any questioms about his lessons - something he always makes sure to emphasize ever lesson. Angus has surpassed my expectations as a vocal instructor and I am very thankful for his expertise and instruction, and I look forward to working with him next year.
If anything, Melissa Howe definitely knows what she's talking about. She uses her magical vocal powers for good. Ive learned so much from her in only a few lessons. Mel is a miracle worker. If theres anyone out there you should get vocal lessons from, its Melissa Howe.
Great vocal coach! Extremely visual and creative with friending and educating about the voice. I was not nervous at all, he lead to reassure the Tmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Very respectful with no attitude or ego! I will be back
I teach students of varying ages and levels of ability how to sing with the proper technique for any style of music.
Music is fun, so why should music lessons be boring? And if music is for everyone, why are lessons so expensive? My private practice functions under the belief that learning music should be enjoyable and inexpensive, so I do my best to make lessons engaging and budget friendly. My main expertise is in flute, but I also love to teach beginner piano and voice. I offer a motivational award system for little pianists to help make practicing more fun. To tell you about my background, I have a BA in English with a minor in music from SUNY Fredonia (4.0 GPA), and I've previously worked as a private school music teacher in Corning, NY.

I am a private vocal instructor based in Central New York State. My career as a private voice teacher began when I was a sophomore in high school with my own private studio of nine students with whom I met weekly. I temporarily disbanded my studio in 2013 but would like to begin teaching again now that I have more tools to shape and guide students as they work to find their voices and enjoy music making.
I provide high-quality, comprehensive, and professional vocal instruction for middle school through adult students. I am a professional teacher with 46 years of experience in high school and colleges in Indiana, New York and Germany.
So many teachers are afraid to approach or teach belt and this is something that is important in our music world today. Students need to be taught how to belt in a healthy way.
