Patrick takes a different approach than vanilla voice lessons. He is a voice physiologist so he literally fixes your instrument. The instruction can be intense but it is well worth it. In a short time I have improved in ways I did not think possible. I am looking forward to the coming months to see where my range and ability will be.

I've been taking voice lessons with Dave for almost a year now, and it's one of the best decisions I've made. I've loved singing my entire life, but I've always felt like I wasn't good enough. It turns out I just needed to tweak my technique. I've definitely improved immensely over the past year, and others (including professional singers) have noticed and complimented me on it as well when I've sang at gigs. I've learned effective warm up techniques, how to control my voice, how my posture and mouth placement are important for my vocals as well, and so much more. He's also very encouraging and patient. I definitely wouldn't sound the way I do today without him. He's given me the confidence to look into performing more in this new year. I'm more motivated than ever to see where my voice can take me and very excited to continue working with him. I was also lucky enough to record a song with him and was able to see what an amazing producer he is as well! Anyone looking for a great, knowledgeable, experienced vocal instructor and producer; look no further! Dave's your man!

When I was fifteen years old my father passed away after an extended battle with stomach cancer. After this I began writing words that people told me were lyrics, but I was no singer. I had a hero that was a singer, a heavy metal singer named Rob Halford, but the crazy notes he hit, and the incredible way he used his voice seemed unattainable to me. As I went through H.S. aided by my friends, a friend of mine named Elsa was taking voice lessons with a teacher in our town of Caldwell, and since she saw me in Choir, and knew of my love of music, suggested her teacher to me. I have been a heavy metal singer for 27 years now, and though I am not a famous person by any stretch of the imagination, nor do I sing in any way similar to Mr. Halford, I owe my longevity, my knowledge, and the respect of my peers to Rae De La Cretaz. Rae did not just teach me how to sing, she taught me how to connect my voice to myself, and considering the emotion that was collected inside me, once I learned how to do that, I was able to realize things about myself I never thought were possible. When I found her again through her online presence some 25 years later and I all the way across the country the only thing I could think to say was thank you. If you're looking for a voice teacher, she is the best, but if your looking for a way to connect your voice to your person, and who you are as a human being, if you look any further you are making a grave mistake. Christine is a truly phenomenal teacher. If you have any hesitations about starting voice lessons because you are afraid of singing in front of other people, have no fear! Christine made me feel completely comfortable from the very first minute of our first lesson together. She is classically trained and extremely knowledgable about singing. I would recommend beginning lessons with her to get a solid technical foundation even if you eventually want to sing pop or R&B (i.e. she is not just for classical/opera singers!) That being said, I've met several of her other students and heard them sing and some are very serious students of the craft; she is an excellent teacher for experienced singers as well. During lessons, she plays her (baby?) grand piano in a large private area of her home. The walls in the singing area are filled with books of sheet music, but she also happily found specific songs online for me to work on when she didn't have the music already. She has an incredible ear- she truly listens to you and can pinpoint and explain to you exactly what to change (your posture or breathing, enunciation etc.) to instantly improve your tone and pitch. Improving your voice is a long process, and there are no magical tricks (except practice practice practice!). But with Christine as your guide, you will see improvement and most importantly, you will gain confidence. She truly believes in her students, which helps them believe in themselves too.

Anette gave voice lessons to my 11 year old daughter. She was knowledgable, patient, and fun. She worked on songs that my daughter wanted to sing. She was understanding about school schedules. And it was great to be able to hear the entire lesson through dropbox.

We were looking for a Jazz piano teacher for our teenage daughter. How lucky we were to have found Joanthan Segal! He's exceptionally talented and patient - a rare combination. Our daughter has been going to him for weekly private lessons since 2015 and is very happy with his instructions. She looks forward to her time with Jonathan every week and can't wait to get home and practice what they worked on! I highly recommend Jonathan to anyone seeking quality piano lessons.

Amazing vocal teacher! Nicky is a great vocal teacher who is kind and patient. She has been working with my 11 year daughter for about 3 years. Nicky makes the extra effort to use age appropriate songs and part of the lesson includes music theory. Win win! My daughter can’t commit to the practice time necessary with an instrument, so we went with vocal lessons with Nicky. With singing she can practice any time and anywhere. Nicky has been able to bring out some beautiful notes, making this mom very proud. Can’t beat the price - she comes to our home and is a very accommodating with our crazy schedule. Again she is an AMAZING vocal teacher!!

Michelle is not only a wonderful person she is a remarkable teacher. I sing with Michelle in the Schiller NJ Chorus and have private singing lessons with her. Not only is her voice glorious but her teaching style covers the many aspects of singing; anatomy, music theory, voice control/development and gentle informative critiques. She’s the best!

Jessica has been an incredibly kind, supportive and knowledgable teacher. I've had a lot of voice teachers over the years, and she has helped take my voice to the next level with her scientifically-based techniques. I've learned about the physics and mechanics of how the voice works and ways to physiologically change my sound, which makes a lot of sense to me (as a former scientist myself). She has also found opportunities for me to sing outside of lessons, which I appreciate. I wholeheartedly recommend Jessica as a voice teacher - she will change your sound for the better.

Kaya is an amazing teacher, her professionalism could not be surpassed. She is the complete package: talented pianist, singer, patient, funny, kind, and undersranding of unique family dynamics. My 6 year old is incredibly timid and does not warm up to people easily. Kaya was understanding of that and even when I was about to give up, she persisted, becoming friends with my Olivia which resulted not only in Olivia warming up to her, but in Olivia already being able to play several songs on the piano after less than 2 months. My little girl looks forward to her class and playing games with Kaya (games through which she has learned proper breathing and posture). This has already begun to pay off in more ways than one, Olivia can already play the piano and feels more confident. I highly recommend Kaya, particularly if you have somewhat of a difficult child, she seems to be able to connect in a way that has astonished me. If you have an easy child, than all the more reason to use Kaya because it will be that much easier for her to teach your child. This is by far the best investment I have made. Thank you Kaya All the best, Aurelia
