"Judy is an exceptional life coach. Too many in the coaching field couch and cover their work in hopes of not giving too much of their work away without compensation. Judy does not withhold her knowledge or expertise from those she serves. Her training, insight and experience is evident from the moment she begins engaging with you. Her listening skills are apparent. The questions she asks of you are structured to stimulate your thinking. Judy is a unique Life and Career coach. She belongs on your team as you transition and transform your own life and career objectives."

"There are few rare times in business when you meet a professional who has the ability to help you sort out the activities of your business to make more room for growth; Nicolas is one of those rare professional. I have had the privilege of knowing NICOLAS for nearly 2 years; and just recently started working with him for my company. The goal is to optimize time and create efficiency for future expansion of services and clientele. The awareness he has created of what is needed to be done in order to streamline and grow my business is nothing short of priceless. NICOLAS has provided my company with exceptional service. And what impresses me the most is his depth of knowledge in various aspects of business efficiency and growth. He has now been added to the 'very short list' of my company's secret weapon for growth. I would highly recommend his Executive management coaching."

A transformational experience. Coach training that combined practical learning through the experience of working with horses and other people is a powerful way to anchor the learning and personal growth that took place.

Amy Oscar is more than a remarkable energy healer. More than a gifted teacher and writer. More than a brilliant psychologist and seer. She is also a visionary leader. Amy Oscar will help you see your circumstances clearly and appreciate (rather than bemoan) their significance in your life. She works with them practically AND symbolically. Then she shows you how your circumstances are not who you are. The brilliance is that she doesn’t leave you in this liminal space, floundering between practical reality and spiritual truth. A lot of spiritual guides, healers, lifestyle gurus, creative coaches end here–and they work really hard through clever programs and products to keep you in this liminal space, telling you you’re a goddess who deserves a better scented candle (that they just so happen to have in stock). Where all the other guides end, Amy truly begins. She is the healer for these times because she has the courage, the genuine heart and know-how, to do what needs to be done. Her external gentleness is a balm for the rawness of the suffering we see everywhere today. Her deep intelligence, strong intuition, clear vision–her golden core is the warrior we want to call upon in urgent times. She is a benevolent leader who will cleanse you of any fabricated notions you hold about yourself or the world. She will get you through problems that might otherwise undo you. She will make you see all the ways you belong to a much bigger story, and invite you to participate with an open heart and under no illusion of a fairytale ending, because there is no ending. There is only always another beginning, and we need people like Amy Oscar to help us channel the vital energy necessary to the life-saving task of waking up again and again and again. -Cathy Shap, MFA, CHC, CYT

Chris is a great executive coach. She inspires her clients to reflect on all aspects of their experience and we made an instant connection. Chris' approach is insightful and really helped me think about road blocks I wasn't allowing myself to conquer. I have become more self-aware and I truly think about how to avoid those things I have control over that may have slowed me down in the past. She will not let you down!

So February 9th, I weighed-in at a doctor’s appointment to the tune or 298 lbs. In my mind all I could think was I am a cheeseburger away from 300 lbs. In my battle with weight, I vowed that I would never weigh over 300 lbs. So this day was an eye opener for me. That day I was determined that I need to make a difference in my life. So I started changing my eating habits and started looking for a gym.. So I decided to get a personal trainer/coach. A gentlemen stated that he knew the perfect person to pair me up with. As I was leaving he pointed out Mr. Dimitrius Drye. In the mind I said, “Oh Hell No!!!” Mr. Drye was in training mode with a client and what she was doing was unbelievable. Something I knew I wouldn’t and couldn’t do. He looked up at me and said, “You’re going to be doing these too!” I told him I didn’t like him already. Saturday, February 27th was my initial assessment with Mr. Drye. I thought he was the trainer from hell. Once I made it through the assessment, I knew I could do anything. He gave me a meal plan that I thought was absurd. At the end of my 3 months of 1:1 coaching with Mr. Drye and adhering to his meal plan, I weighed 266 lbs with a loss of 29. After I saw this change, I signed up again with Mr. Drye and to this day I have lost a total of 65 lbs bringing me to a weight of 225 lbs in 7 months ..Never in a million years did I think I could be where I am now especially after numerous failed attempts. The best decision I ever made was working with Mr. Drye. He is an AMAZING coach. He pushes you to work harder even when you think your body can’t do it nor will he let you quit. He encourages you and explains what area of the body and what muscle each exercise works. Mr. Drye knows exactly what exercises to have you do to get the desired body shape you are looking for. For me I needed someone who was going to be relentless and be a drill sergeant. I found that in him. In this journey, I learned that this has been more mental than physical. Why? My body can do anything, but my mind didn’t think so. I had to make up in my mind that I had no choice. It was either do or die for me. Mr. Drye made this experience enjoyable and not dreadful. In fact, because of him I can now say I love working out and I look forward to reaching my goal. Thank you, Mr. Dimitrius Drye, for helping me to change my life one day, one weight, and one exercise at a time. Sincerely, Ms. Tamisha P. Tyson

I was Corey's Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Manhattanville College for three years. While my time working with Corey I learned so many different coaching strategies and theories. He pushed and challenged me everyday to not only become a better coach, but a better person. Everything he puts his mind to he accomplishes.

Mark Schlanger was an amazing resource for me during a challenging time in my work life. He was a great listener and helped me unlock myself. His advice helped me reconnect with former colleagues with whom I lost touch and that led to new and inspiring professional opportunities. I highly recommend Mark for anyone who wants someone who cares to coach them through a challenge, a tangle, an obstacle in any realm of your life. Mark helped me see and find my own power!

During the course of my first year at CrossFit, I have done several private coaching sessions with Ryan and they have been extremely beneficial. What impresses me the most is the prep that Ryan obviously puts in before the sessions to ensure that I get the most out of the session and that I move forward towards reaching my goals. He is patient, clear, concise and is great at helping you face your fears with some levity. A recent back injury had me thinking about cancelling a session with Ryan; instead I trusted my coach and was not disappointed. I would recommend private coaching with Ryan to anyone looking to improve in any aspect of fitness.

Personal training - after having knee surgery which had me less active with less mobility and gaining weight. I was fortunate to see the GFP video on their website and gave Justin a call. He was very flexible for my busy schedule and we started early morning training sessions. Since I started working out at GFP not only have I gotten more mobile but my overall core strength has increased helping my back and adding power in Tennis and Golf. GFP's culture and and friendly staff are really different from the typical fitness clubs. The only thing I would suggest is adding a homework coaching element to the personal training to help add lifestyle and discipline to augment what I do in the gym.

A combination of nutritional coaching and personal training. Tracking my nutrition on a daily basis by logging my meals and snacks turned out to be a necessary, critical factor in my success. Still a work in progress. Lyndsay provided me with the insight needed for steady, positive results.

In doing this, I help my clients to not only look and feel better but also I assist in bringing them to places they never imagined before. What is a life coach?

A professional, accredited life coach works with people to help them make important changes in their life, either growing in their profession or changing gears in their personal lives. They help clients turn their dreams or wishes into realistic, attainable goals. They guide people through the process of making life changes by helping them evaluate the steps they must take to reach a particular goal, then help them decide how — and whether — to take those steps in the most efficient, effective and rewarding way possible. A life coach acts as a motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Unlike a therapist, a life coach doesn’t help solve problems from your past — they’re focused on helping you move forward with new ways of acting and thinking that will help you reach your goals. Some people specialize in particular types of life coaching, including life balancing coaches, small business coaches, executive coaches and personal finance coaches. Some meet clients in person, while others hold consultations over the phone.

Regardless of which type of life coach you’re interested in, make sure the person holds an International Coach Federation (ICF) credential. There are three tiers of credentials: Associate, Professional and Master, which require coaching experience ranging from 100 hours to 2,500 hours.

        What is a career coach?

If you’re interested in furthering your career and want expert help, a career coach is a smart solution. A career coach is a professional you hire to guide you during a job search or a career transition, or to help you improve and advance in your current position. A career coach analyzes your work situation and learns what your professional goals are. They then create a strategy to help you achieve your targets. Throughout the process they should provide objective feedback and guide you in approaching the process strategically. Here are some of the tools and tasks a career coach may assist you with:

        • Helping you build a strong resume that reflects your work history, potential, and skills
        • Coaching for interviews and strategies for solid answers built around your resume and the target job
        • Defining your career goals
        • Creating a plan for job searching
        • Improving networking strategies and skills
        • Developing strategies for negotiating raises or promotions
        • Assessing why you’re not getting where you want to go
        • Identifying new positions or career opportunities that fit your skills

How much does a life coach cost?

A life coach helps clients set and reach professional and personal goals, develop positive habits, and deal with stress. Some people meet with a life coach once or twice, while others form an ongoing professional relationship, meeting regularly in person or on the phone. The average national cost to meet with a life coach ranges from $80 to $130 an hour. Some coaches offer per-session pricing, especially for one-time meetings; expect to pay an average of $100-$125. People who want to work with a coach over a period of time to explore life transitions, career growth or lifestyle changes may be able to get discounted pricing in a package. For example, three 60-minute sessions cost an average of $300, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $350, and four 60- to 90-minute sessions plus unlimited contact between sessions cost an average of $400. Some specific types of coaching, such as relationship or marriage coaching, cost more than standard life coaching. For instance, three 60-minute relationship coaching sessions cost an average of $500, four 60-minute sessions cost an average of $550, and six 60- to 90-minute sessions cost an average of $650 when purchased as a package. Training and experience can also affect the cost of hiring a life coach. An Associate Certified Coach, who holds a certification that requires only 60 hours of training and 100 hours of coaching experience, will charge less than a Master Certified Coach, who typically has at least 200 hours of training and 2,500 hours of coaching experience.

        Why is career counseling important?

Career counseling can help you discover your career path, help you overcome challenges preventing you from finding happiness in your job, or help you learn more about career opportunities that are available to you. Career counselors are typically counselors who specialize in helping guide people into their best career choices. As professionals, they have typically completed a master’s degree in counseling with a focus on career counseling and bring a nuanced understanding of the emotional blocks that prevent someone from doing what they love or getting ahead in their current position. Here are some of the ways that career counseling can help:

        • Identify your skills and talents and how they correlate to different career paths
        • Educate you about the educational requirements for launching in various careers and what earnings can look like
        • Help you understand the kind of environment you want to work in, and which careers are best suited for that
        • See opportunities to transfer your existing skill set to other career areas
        • Help you identify causes of tension or unhappiness in your current career and how to overcome those difficulties
        • Help you create a game plan for moving forward
        • Provide a safe space for you to understand your feelings about career choices you’re making

How much does it cost to hire a career coach?

A career coach provides one-on-one sessions to help you reach your career goals or overcome any challenges you’re having in your career path. The cost to have career coaching can vary based on factors such as the number of sessions you purchase at one time and the experience and rates of your counselor. Career counselors are typically professionals who have earned at least a master’s degree in their field. Based on their academic background, supplemental certifications they have received, and any postdoctoral work they have done, their rates may vary. Typically career counselors offer reduced rates when you sign on for their services on an ongoing basis. A typical price range for career counseling services (nationally) could be $75-$150 per session. Remember to always ask if the career counselor offers a complimentary introductory session. You want to make sure the relationship will be the right personality and counseling style fit to help launch your confidence and upcoming career changes.
