At 32, I have taken piano lessons in one form or another since I was 6 years old from multiple teachers both privately and as part of a school. Tom Harris is, without a doubt, the best I have studied under. He is positive, patient, focused quality and continual improvement. His depth of knowledge in classical piano is amazing and he truly loves his art and cares for his students. Mr. Harris receives my highest recommendation.

We have been taking piano lessons from Mr. Wheatley for about 4 months. Overall it has been a great experience. He has a casual air but is a stickler with technique. Mr. Wheatley's style is a good fit for someone who is put off by the formality of many classical piano teachers but want to learn classical piano. We would recommend his services without hesitation.

From the minute Gena walked through the door, I knew we were a perfect fit. Her mix of linear and creative approaches to teaching piano has helped me grow as a musician and thinker. She finds ways to make small chat in-between informative instruction which helps the student's mind digest all the new musical material. Gena is a genuine person and knowledgable teacher who I would recommend to anyone :)

My daughter wouldn’t sing during the first lesson. However, I believe she will warm-up and break out of her shell. I believe he is an amazing singer and piano player and I recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to sing and/or piano.

I have two children at Rochester Academy of Music & Art (RAMA) taking piano and voice for over two years. It's been a wonderful experience, motivating, rewarding and creative. Our family has taken lessons with several schools and teachers in the area and we are happy to call RAMA our music home now. From logistical help to flexibility to high level instruction and skilled musicians, we have found everything we need at RAMA.

Kerri was prompt to respond to our needs for a piano teacher. She is reasonably priced for our needs. Our first experience with her as a teacher is that she is enthusiastic to help a fledgling student to learn to love piano playing. We are choosing to work with her for the near future.
