About

Adelaida was very helpful and very professional when it came to our wedding day. She was someone I really connected with and both myself and my husband felt very comfortable with her. Not only is she very reasonable, she cares about every single wedding she does. I was very happy with her service. I wish I could get married every year just to use her over and over again. I do know when it comes time for my husband and I to have a baby, I would love Adelaida to give a baby blessing to our event. Thanks so much for making our day a success! Wedding: 11/05/2011

About

There are so many positive things to say about Pastor April that it's difficult to know where to begin. From the moment I first met her, I absolutely knew that she was the person that I wanted to be my Wedding Officiant. She greeted me with such a smile that I felt like I was seeing a long lost friend after numerous years. She truly wants to get to know each of her couples, not only so that she can put together the most memorable ceremony that you could ever ask for, but also because she cares about each of her couples on such a deep, personal level. Some people know their true calling in life, and Pastor April was meant to be a Wedding Officiant, Her love and caring ways will reflect in the ceremony that she will perform for you.

For more than 35 years, Captain Arnold is a licensed captain and has been an active US Coast Guard. He is the only captain who is also an ordained chaplain, registered as an official wedding officiant with the City of New York. Captain Arnold offers beautiful, unique and memorable wedding ceremonies on land, aboard your choice of vessel at sea or at the waterside restaurant's catering hall of your choice. One look at his website and your wedding officiant search will be over, guaranteed! I take the time to get to know my couples and make sure that the wedding ceremony suits their specific needs. I see to it that every ceremony I perform captures the essence of the couple: personal warmth and love. Each ceremony is infused with just a touch of humor to ensure the most memorable wedding celebration possible. I also impart on the couple my knowledge from my more than 54 years of marriage, which they appreciate.

I hired Linette for my daughter's wedding ceremony ( Kiana and Tim) on Saturday December 13, 2014. It was very short notice and Linette did a great job. She was very pleasant during the ceremony, no matter how bride and groom were busy with photographer.Every one including bride and groom were very happy with her job. I strongly recommend her to whoever need this service.

About

When Ena and I married, we didn't want a religious ceremony. We also didn't want a lot of guests or the hassle associated with wasteful wedding planning. (Besides, whose got the money?) Nevertheless, we wanted "our day" to be symbolically significant and special. How would we acknowledge the real love we discovered and now share? When our special day arrived, we decided to marry in the building where it all started for us - the 92/y. I still remember the day, I asked Ena out - we were standing in the back row of the concert hall when I asked her to go see The Kills with me. Now, three years later, Ena and I are still listening (and making...) beautiful music together. At our "ceremony," we had no guests, our only witnesses were our matchmaker, Nancy, an Asst. House Mgr. of the 92/y, and, of course, Jimmy's charming wife (and Ena's good friend), Chili. Jimmy Low handled our ceremony with the perfect balance of professionalism and poised personality. Even though we had no guests (or even pre-prepared wedding vows!) Jimmy created a meaningful moment for us (he even took the time to create a "wedding invitation" keepsake card, with words from his oration printed inside.) Our day was perfect! Thank you Jimmy for being a fantastic wedding officiant. (And thank you Chili for the terrific photos!)

About

My Background I'm an interfaith/nondenominational minister who officiates beautiful weddings (of any kind and civil unions in NJ) to your exact specifications. I'm also a registered wedding officiant with the office of the city clerk of the City of New York, which permits me to perform weddings in NYC, as well as the rest of the state. Where I Officiate I usually work in the NY Tri-State area -- NY, NJ, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Southern CT. In warmer weather, I'm also happy to officiate weddings in Bucks County, PA (New Hope and environs), as well as Lambertville (Hunterdon County, NJ). Getting in Touch - Best to Phone If you are interested in my services, it's best to phone me at the number indicated above, rather than contacting me via e-mail. I don't have a fancy cell that picks up e-mail so I may be able to offer you more of what you're seeking than another minister, but you may not know unless you call. I'm really quite friendly, and I will wish you well no matter what decision you make regarding your officiant. Speaking with me allows me to get an accurate idea of what you're seeking and permits you to hear my voice (important). You would/should not want an officiant whose voice isn't pleasant! It would be like a bad but funny scene from a Woody Allen movie, and that's not what you're aiming for at your wedding! Please, I entertain serious inquiries only! For wedding planners, I'm happy to speak with you but after establishing the date and venue, it's best that I speak with the couple to establish a rapport and discuss all other important details. Types of Ceremonies I Officiate I perform elegant traditional, interfaith, same-sex weddings or civil unions (in NJ), Justice of the Peace type of ceremonies, elopements, renewal of vows, second marriages (for those whose faith of origin does not permit them), and intercultural (where I seamlessly blend the two cultures of each member of the couple so that each family is represented with eloquence and dignity). Your ceremony will be as long or as short as you desire! Languages in Which I can Officiate I can also officiate in Spanish and French, as desired, as well as English. Writing Custom Ceremonies and Researching Literature (Poetry, Prose and Spiritual Writings) to Include I write exquisite custom ceremonies at your request, of course. I am well versed in beautiful literature whether prose, poetry or spiritual (bible or others), that I can include in your ceremony, also at your request. I'm also a semi-retired librarian, teacher and academician, as well as a professional writer/editor. These skills permit me to help you write your own vows, include children from previous relationships in beautiful, creative and meaningful ways, etc. I'm delighted to include relatives and close friends for readings of poetry or spiritual passages of any kind; sometimes this lends a very personal and meaningful touch! Smaller Rituals to Include in Ceremonies Within my ceremonies, I can (optionally) perform lovely smaller rituals that offer unique touches such as a unity candle ceremony (once exclusive to Catholic weddings but now a favorite of all religions), as well as sand ceremonies (similar but colored sand is used and favored by many Middle Eastern couples), honey and wine ceremonies, and a beautiful, sentimental rose ceremony (for those couples for whom roses hold special significance). Couple's Meeting An initial couple's meeting (I encourage both partners to attend), usually takes place in a restaurant to allow us to become acquainted in a relaxed setting and review ceremonies that I've prepared. I usually bring two or three (one copy for each of us) depending on what the couple has described to me regarding their preferences, when we've spoken. I hand out pens, and we review them, and decide which aspects of each are meaningful to you, and the result (usually) is a fourth ceremony that is a compilation of the original two or three. It's like writing a term paper prior to computers and MS Word. Again, please call, so you have the chance to describe to me exactly what you want, and ask for details before deciding upon another officiant. I may be the right person to perform your wedding! Getting in Touch My phone number is listed above. Please feel free to leave a message (if I'm not immediately available, I will return your call as soon as possible!). Please speak slowly and clearly, and indicate if it's regarding a wedding (mention Thumbtack), as well as leave a return number where I can reach you, and the time and day you've phoned. I am always looking forward to speaking with you and wishing you well. I look forward to speaking with you and making your wedding day a day for you to treasure always.

About

We would just like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to Judie and Liam for helping to make our wedding day so special! Judie was absolutely fantastic from our first contact until we said our "I Do's". Being a couple planning our elopement from thousands of miles away Judie was so helpful when it came to providing us with a wealth of information to assist us with our organising. Judie was very quick to get back to my emails and very graciously answered all our questions! It was so stress free! We chose a short ceremony with some pre-selected vows and a section of our own vows, Judie's words to welcome our guests and to start the ceremony before we exchanged our vows were beautiful and captured us exactly! The whole ceremony exactly what we wanted and even more than we could have ever imagined! Thank you! As per her promise (which is also on their website) Judie submitted our wedding documents promptly to City Hall and we received our official certificate in Australia a very short couple of weeks later! Again a stress free process! As a very special wedding gift from some friends we were very grateful to have some moments captured by Liam and the pictures are AMAZING! We look at them and we get transported back to those very moments in time! We had a such a blast in the streets of Soho with Liam, he was very relaxed and was more than happy for us to suggest places we might like to have some photos taken. Both Judie and Liam were great to work! We would both highly recommend you to anyone who is considering Eloping in NYC!

About

He was wonderful to work with. Wedding ceremony was lovely and very personalized. Our circumstances, groom's health, forced us to marry in a hurry. Rev. Dennis exceeded our expectations with a service that appeared to be planned months in advance, rather than, in reality, a few days in the making. One thing that I wish Rev. Dennis would have mentioned is that he shows up an hour in advance of the ceremony. We weren't ready for him when he arrived.

About

My name is Jennie Almodovar. I am a spiritually based ordained metaphysical minister and a law-of-attraction-based life coach. Wedding Officiant Details I specialize in spiritual, nondenominational weddings. I love officiating weddings on Long Island, Queens, and New York City! I am open minded, and I also officiate same-sex ceremonies. I can cater to small weddings, as well as large weddings. I look forward to all input, traditions, special prayers, or readings that you request, and a "no" from my lips is not an option when you are my client. My passion and energy is shown not only through my writing of your vows and ceremony from beginning to end, but it is also shown through my performance when I am officiating your wedding ceremony. I am young and young at heart and open minded. I take my client's special day and bring love to it and a positive energy that will fill the atmosphere wherever your venue takes place. I am adaptable and am thrilled when I can do outdoor, beach, park, golf course, ceremonies as well as weddings at any catering hall of your choice. What you can expect from my services prior to and on the day of your wedding: 1. On our initial one-hour consultation, I will meet with the couple get to know them, learn how they met, etc. and speak with them about what their vision is regarding the ceremony, answer any questions and talk about pricing. 2. Upon securing a date with me, I will then gather additional information that I will need in order personalize the ceremony for the couple. 3. I offer pre-marital counseling. I like to do this with my couples before their wedding day, to give them clarification of what marriage is and what it means, speak about their beliefs, speak about any anxieties they may have, not only concerning the years to follow, but also concerning the actual ceremony. In spite of the fact that both may have seen or participated in several weddings, it is quite different when it is your own. 4. About a month before the wedding, I will send a rough draft of the ceremony I have written specifically for the couple to review and go over any additions or revisions at that time. 5. Rehearsal - If the couple decides on a rehearsal, I would be happy to meet at your desired location to introduce myself to the wedding party and family members and go over all of the necessary organization for the ceremony to ensure a smooth, effortless, harmonious wedding day! 6. The Wedding Day! - I will arrive 45 minutes to one hour in advance to greet the guests or to help out if there are any last-minute needs to be done before walking down the aisle. Law-Of-Attraction-Based Life Coaching How my program works: Each client will have their own personalized program via email coaching sessions. What is email coaching? Email coaching session is a new, effective way of communicating with my clients for many reasons. To begin, my relationships with my clients are typically very open, friendly, casual, light, honest and stress free. When communicating via email, my clients can take their time and really define what they want to work on and ask as many questions that will provide insight to them on their personal journeys. In return, I give detailed answers to my client's questions, (within 24 to 48 hours), give inspiring support, will occasionally prepare personalized videos instructed by me via email that have exercises for the client to work on, and more (see below). I have found that this is the most successful way for the client to absorb the information, contemplate it, and own up to their responsibilities of changing their experiences. A written record can also serve as a journal that the client can look back on to see their progress. Conducting email coaching sessions allow me to have time to thoroughly think through what I need to convey to the client, based on each individual experience, and it gives me the opportunity to hold the client in charge of their goals they declare when they are recording it in their journals, rather than speaking aloud. I find this method of conducting email coaching sessions successful from my own personal experience, and my client's experiences as well; however, if a client is local and would prefer face-to-face coaching or counseling, I have an office that's conveniently located in Queens, New York. Skype can also be arranged with clients out of the local area or abroad. Upon our initial, free, no-obligation consultation, each individual's needs will vary, but typically, there will be at least one email coaching session a week. Within that conversation, I may provide the client with lessons to work on, fun activities that have a purpose and will be thought provoking. I may include articles on the subjects that are appropriate for the client, email informational links, video links, etc. that will be helpful in their journey to joy. I may talk about my personal experiences and successes which may be related, as well as other items catered to each specific individual's needs. I will be tough, when appropriate, and I will challenge you to challenge yourself, in order for you to realize your goals and help you stick to them long term.
