I have a wide array of services. I have tutored middle school subjects (except math), guitar, magic the gathering, and even online computer gaming. I also seek to be a pet sitter. One of my favorite things as a tutor is to learn with the client. Whatever I may be teaching them has a lesson for me to learn, so I too become a student as we both venture to acquire new knowledge. I am a loving man who aspires greatness for all.

The best reasons to take music lessons with me are 1. I have been teaching over 20 years and have much more teaching experience than the average person giving lessons. 2. Teaching and performing is what I do for a living so I am 100% dedicated to my students and my art. My students always come first. 3. My students have gone on to play in some amazing very well known bands and are the top music teachers and players in the business as well. 4. I continue to study music and practice hours myself so I can still relate to the obstacles students can sometimes face when learning or practicing something difficult. I also continue to study pedagogy (the art of teaching), psychology, logic and the inner workings of the human brain to further understand how I can help people learn better and faster. 5. I am the most patient, supportive and encouraging teacher you would ever want to meet. I love the fact that I get to help people grow musically and personally. I enjoy meeting new people and being a part of their musical journey no matter what their end goal is.

  • Terry Little Music

What makes me different from most vocal coaches and guitar teachers is that I am presently active in the music industry. I am currently recording in my professional recording studio-where other artists record as well.. I also am the Vice President of a guitar company and am directly immersed in the music business in my day to day life. I have performed in major venues performing for nationally touring artists. I have many contacts in many genres of music that I can use as a resource for my students. The most fulfilling thing about what I do is see the successes and artistic growth of my students. There is nothing more gratifying as having my students succeed. Actually, just this week one of my students auditioned for a children's choir at Carnegie Hall and got in. I was very excited because when he first came to me for lessons a year ago I told his parents that I saw exceptional raw talent in him. Seeing this young boy live up to the potential I thought he possessed almost brings tears to my eyes. Singing and playing music is a gift. Music is healing. For me to help others be able to tap into that on a higher level is more than I could ask for.

  • Skype Private Guitar Lessons

    Michael Zigismund

I offer private lessons directly from your computer. Are you around a computer screen? Do you own an Internet? Then you're just a click away from me! Please check out my YouTube videos (URL below). I have 14 years of experience bringing about and learning the guitar. My mastery includes almost any subgenre of rock n’ roll, jazz, blues, classical, heavy metal, and show tunes/musical music. I also have 3 years of experience teaching players ages 11 to 47 years old, from beginners to seasoned guitarists of 30 years. This is in addition to my background in musical counterpoint, theory, composition, history, and production; again, in all styles. I place supreme importance on being able to approach music as a musician, rather than as an instrumentalist. This means that the guitar (and any other instrument) is merely a means to an end, that, when arrived at skillfully, grabs and affects the audience every single time. Any guitarist can, after some time, bang some notes out in the correct rhythm and arrangement. But only a musician will use those notes to emotionally touch the greatest amount of people in the audience. Notes are not easy to learn, to be sure. That's where a good teacher comes in handy. But the best teachers keep your focus on what to do with the notes after you know how to play them well. After all, that's when the real work begins: the dynamics, the beginnings and the endings of notes and phrases, the facial expressions, the nod of the head, the words that are said before and after a song, the way that you sit and stand; these are the lifeblood of music. These are also the secrets that separate the greatest performers from "those friends of yours." And these are the things that give me, and the best musicians I know, the most fun when making music. Exploring what is beyond the notes is what sustains our discipline and allows us to keep improving. Check out my videos to see what I mean. Well? Go ahead. I'm exactly on the further side of your computer screen.
