My 3rd grader struggled with the Ohio State test and we decided to invest in individual tutoring with Special Kare. Halle addressed our concerns and created a catered approach for him which included additional things we could work on from home. After attending, he has passed the test and will be eligible to move onto 4th grade. Above that, he has gained confidence with his reading, writing and typing and enjoys reading for pleasure more than before. I will always recommend Special Kare whenever asked and will be sending our daughter to Halle as well. If you ever considered tutoring for your little one, this is your sign to DO IT! Finally she was caught, but her confidence and self esteem were extremely low. I tried for about a year to research what might be wrong and how to help, and thought I could fix it myself since I taught all seven of her older siblings to read. But we got nowhere, and grew in nothing but frustration and discouragement. We started working with Ms. Catherine and within two months my daughter was reading at grade level, attempting harder reading materials, and, most importantly, growing in confidence in all areas of her life. Ms. Catherine's guided exercises and consistent follow-up pinpointed the trouble areas and gave her the tools she needed to decode words and gain facility at reading longer, more challenging passages.
