My colleague and I wanted editing help with a journal manuscript in need of substantial revisions. We were also within a month of a deadline. As educators ourselves, we selected Dr. Deb based on her education and extensive experience. We were not disappointed. She possesses a keen understanding of the editorial protocols and politics of journal publishing. She knew exactly how to reorganize and focus our writing; she knew how to research quickly and efficiently; she knew how to package up our manuscript for journal review. Dr. Deb completed all of her work well within our tight deadline. We appreciated her prompt responses to our frequent emails. We highly recommend Dr. Deb for anyone looking for serious, academic editorial services designed to help ensure professional success.
I worked with Kim on consulting projects for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD) during the period of 2009- 2012. Kim was the Manager of Community Relations, and served as the point person for projects involving survey research designed to gauge customer perceptions about the NEORSD. Kim did an excellent job at managing complicated projects. She kept us up to date regarding deadlines and expectations, and connected us with a variety of staff at the NEORSD as needed. Through these projects, Kim demonstrated clear, concise writing. She provided excellent feedback about draft reports for each of the surveys (there were four during this period, with the last being a larger survey project that included four surveys and eight focus groups). Her abilities as an editor and project manager were evident in the positive response of the NEORSD executive leadership and board to the final reports for these projects. I highly recommend Kim for her quality work in the areas of writing, editing, and project management. The BW Community Research Institute has grown in scope in part due to the success of the NEORSD projects that Kim managed, and for which we are grateful.
Shari is an excellent editor and proofreader. She has a good eye for detail, solid expertise in grammar, and a gift for clear messaging. I recommend her services to anyone who values high-quality writing and editing.
I'm a copy-editor, and I always turn to Sarah to proofread books I've worked on. I'm also a writer and have her proofread books I've written. I've worked with other proofreaders in the past, and she's simply the best.
Lake Effect Consulting is an amazing ally in the work I do. Charlie is an extraordinary writer and editor whether the need is a grant, web copy, a press release, or a speech. He is able to help me clarify my thoughts and make my work more polished and professional.
Nickollette was superior in everything she did. She booked me on average 5 appointments a day and was so professional and upbeat on the phone. I love how she provided end of day reports and posted all my files on a drive for easy access. Her research skills are on point and her writing is flawless. A Must have VA for any business.
My experience with Daniel was great. I needed help with my manuscript in terms of fact finding as well as reading it and giving me an unbiased opinion. He read it in a timely manner and highlighted parts requiring extra attention. He explained why, which was very helpful to me as a new author. He researched various topics for me. I was impressed with his timeliness, communication and thoroughness in seeking information that I required. He searched online, read books and made calls to gather the information I requested. My involvement with Daniel was helpful, enlightening and a pleasure.
Linda was terrific! She was an essential help to me as editor of my first novel. Her assistance with grammar was excellent. Linda also had many creative and insightful ideas that helped move the narrative forward. Linda was patient, kind, responsive, attentive to details and a real pleasure to work with. She consistently went above and beyond and her work was awesome. The bottom line is that I would recommend Linda to anyone searching for an editor for their work. Top notch lady and professional editor!!!

I hired Holly in January 2012 to assist me with customer scheduling and other administrative tasks. I have found that she is extremely professional and efficient and I do not know how I managed before hiring her. I can now focus on my work and let Holly handle the rest.
