My better half and I have been going to see James for over four months now and we couldn't imagine a better instructor. He's made learning music both easy and enjoyable. He really simplifies the lessons for beginners and makes learning instruments something attainable for all ages and skill levels.
Sharon was great to work with and schedule lessons for me and my daughter. Have already had a great start. Highly recommended.
I personally have had zero instrumental music lessons from Scott; however, my brother has and I have had many vocal lessons. The price is at a good rate and the quality of his teaching is above and beyond the standard music teacher. He is very clear in his speaking and very easy going if something needs to be rescheduled.
Maria has helped me improve a lot since I started taking lessons with her. She has been teaching me for many years and we work on a mix of vocal exercises and songs in the lessons. She stresses vocal technique and we work on many different genres of music. I would definely recommend her
Joseph has been great! He's helped to cater lessons and challenges to fit my goals with violin. I would definitely recommend him!
Julie Williams is a very professional and knowledgeable music teacher that has guided me through my first few piano lessons. I had contacted her to learn music theory and to play the piano. Her approach is to start with the basics and to build from there. I highly recommend her as a teacher who has the ability to guide a person through music lessons that will lead to success.
Ava is a trained singer who is knowledgeable in the "nuts and bolts" of singing technique that can be applied to any singing style. She explains to and shows the student by demonstrating. The lessons are also recorded for practicing at home. Also a very nice person!
Janessa was my vocal coach in high school and helped me get prepared for my college auditions in my senior year as well as help me land the lead in my high school musical! I learned great strategies to help my voice mature and a lot of foundational skills that I missed out on not having played an instrument. Janessa was able to help me overcome a lot of the bad habits that I had as well as push me to expand my vocal skills. She was a great Christian role model and I appreciated her approach. I would recommend Janessa to any young singer looking for direction and focus in their singing career.
For the past two years, Darius has been teaching voice and note reading in the EN-RICH-MENT music program for underserved urban youth ages 5 - 18. He is very dedicated and efficient to his position in working with the youth. The majority of these youth have never been in choir or had an opportunity to be involved in a note reading class. I think this was great experience for Darius to be able to interact with the youth and know what they are and are not capable of doing. His selection of music was very good as he taught them music they had never heard before and some that were familiar. I would like for him to become more efficient in responding to requests, answering emails and text messages as it relates to his position.
Miss Barbara is the coolest! Professional in every way. She is teaching my 4yr old piano and keeping her attention is tough but Miss Barbara has her focused for the entire 30min lesson. She loves her lessons and Miss Barbara Schuster.
Amber is a fantastic teacher for so many reasons. Here are a few: (1) She personalizes her lessons to your musical background, ability, and goals: I have about 20-years of piano experience that she took into account. She specifically selected repertoire and etudes to help fill in the gaps in my violin-playing ability. However, I also saw her successfully teach (several) (very cute) three-year-olds, who clearly were taught differently than I. (2) She keeps teaching, even after the lesson is over: She often sent me emails with extra tips/thoughts in the few days between my weekly lessons. When I had trouble learning a particular bowing, she did extra research online and asked her colleagues, looking for additional pedagogical techniques to help me. (3) She also keeps her studio well-stocked with many useful tools, including various tuners, chin rests, shoulder rests, and metronomes. She kindly loaned many of these to me so that I could try different things before I committed to buying them. Furthermore, when I was looking to buy a new bow, she graciously agreed to come with me to the violin shop to help me pick (free of charge!). Amber clearly cares deeply about her students, going above and beyond to nurture their musicianship. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a teacher.
At the moment it does not. This is merely a test. This account will likely be deleted.
