I have been working out with Matt for 8 weeks now and absolutely LOVE it!! I have seen changes in my body and I am very excited to reach my goal! He is extremely reliable, dependable and motivating. He takes the time to check on you even on the days your not training with him. He makes you feel comfortable and makes working out really fun. I chose Kim and fabYOUlous fitness because of her focus on women over 40 and the individual attention I was able to get from her. Kim spent time learning about my specific needs and goals, and devotes our sessions to that long term plan. In addition, she is a certified and qualified Corrective Exercise Specialist, and so she adds a layer of focus on injured or compromised muscles. I especially love that my workouts are in a studio devoted exclusively to personal training sessions and small focus groups, and also that Kim's availability is flexible enough that it fits very well with my demanding schedule. Kim consistently shows me that she truly wants to help me reach my goals. She helps me meet my challenges, and shares in my successes. Our sessions are tough and demanding, with just the right amount of encouragement and positive reinforcement. I feel very fortunate to have Kim as my personal trainer.

Mat was hands down the most thorough and educational personal trainer I have ever had! He made sure step by step I knew exactly what was going on, how to perfect my workouts, and always made sure I had a great time. He is such a friendly and caring personal trainer I would recommend him to anyone! I had a knee injury from sports that I played in high school and just training with him for a few months I can lift more weight than I ever have before! I was informed by my MD - Strength Training would be a good idea. Joe has been most successful with all aspects of training. He takes a personal interest in the particular areas that need work to gain strength and progress to the next level of training. Each time we meet he asks how you are feeling and waits for the feedback before we proceed. Joe is extremely knowledgeable in the area of training and it is obvious he is quite dedicated to his specialty.
Gentry has been training me since August 2016. She is the most positive, upbeat, motivating person I have ever met and I have truly forgotten the feeling of dreading going to the gym, and reversely look forward to every day I train with her; in fact, more often than not it is the highlight of my day. I started going to her to add upper body strength to my noodle arms and also to get a Kardashian booty, because what girl doesn't want that. I was pleasantly surprised at how working out with Gentry 3-4 times a week produced real results so quickly! Gentry's workouts are unique and challenging every week and the sessions fly by. My self esteem, mood and general health has skyrocketed since coming to her. I love telling family and friends about her because training with her is truly one of the best investments I have ever made! :)
Tifiro Cook is an excellent trainer for all body types and age groups. I started training with Tifiro in July 2014. He was very open to my fitness and nutritional goals. Being a fitness instructor I've seen how some trainers can be intimidating towards their client. You will not get that with Tifiro, he makes you feel like you have a true coach in your ear every step of the way. His training sessions are fresh and exciting. You will never get bored or run into a routine with him. Tifiro will push to improve mental focus to further achieve fitness milestones. Tifiro will mold your training sessions to your fitness level and physical abilities. As someone who has a chronic joint disorder he has assisted in keeping my knee healthy and strengthening up my quads to help support my knee. I have seen tremendous changes in my body that have people asking what I'm doing! When partnering healthy and clean nutrition with Tifiro Cook's training I know I can't lose. In addition Tifiro trains my son who has healthy fitness aspirations and to prepare him for sports when he is ready. My son looks forward to his sessions with T! I recommend all women, men, and children to check him out.
I reached out to Pursuit Fitness through Thumbtack back in September and man was that a great decision on my part! I wanted to find a personal trainer that understood that I was in this to form a habit with the expectation that I could take over on my own once I felt comfortable. Russ was the perfect fit. He responded to my quote that same day and we set up a time to discuss his options for personal training and go over a free consultation. I was very impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and facility! I ended up purchasing a three-month package for 30 minute sessions and we worked together to establish goals and track my progress. Every time I showed up he was ready to go with a new routine, and throughout the session he would explain which muscles we were targeting, why it's beneficial, and how it all connects. We would discuss diet and the types of exercises I should be doing when not at the sessions, as well as variations to those exercises. The facility was very nice, a little crowded at times but that just goes to show how more and more people are drawn to Russ's expertise as well as the rest of the team there! I purchased a gym membership as well and really appreciated the 24 hour access. Overall I had a fantastic experience, learned a lot, and will take the knowledge that Russ has given me to develop my own routines to keep active and healthy in the future! I really can't thank him enough!
When I was finally ready to search for a trainer, I knew the type of trainer I was looking for. I was looking for a person who knew how to exercise, a person who was a good listener in terms of what I wanted to change about my body, a person who was patient yet would push me as they knew I could handle, a person who is creative with their exercise technique and program, a person who is timely and dedicated, and a person who looked the part with their own body. When I first saw Mo, of course he looked the part naturally / not artificially, and the more I worked with him, I knew he knew what he was talking about. Mike is a great trainer! I have been training with him for over 6 months and plan to continue training with him! He has taught and shown me how to build my metabolism and how I can still enjoy some foods I love and not gain weight. Cody has been working with my son Joshua for about 8 weeks on powerlifting. Joshua qualified for Special Olympics Summer Games after 4-5 weeks of training. Cody is very professional and is open to ideas and suggestions on working with Joshua. He keeps him motivated and pushing forward. I think Cody does an awesome job working with Joshua.
