I've been training at StrongFit for 12 months now and would recommend it to EVERYONE. The trainers take a personal interest in your success and modify each workout to your individual goals and needs. In just a years time, training 2-3 days a week, I have been able to lose 7% body fat and complete a 5+ minute wall sit - goals far beyond what I thought I was capable of. Luke, my trainer, accommodates my crazy travel schedule and makes time for me to squeeze in last minute work outs without complaint. I am looking forward to seeing what this next year brings :)
I can't help to think back from time to time about my life before I had personal trainer. I was an average size woman that could not run a quarter of a mile or do a single pull-up. I tried 3 personal trainers before I was interoduced to Kyle Blandford. Since I had not had any luck with the 3 previous trainers I wasn't holding out much hope for this new guy. I am proud to say after are very first session I tossed out any preconceived notion's I had about personal trainers. I explained to Kyle verious goals I had and gave him a very accurate picture of the kind of shape I was in. Kyle never let me feel that my goals weren't obtainable even if I shared my own doubts out loud during training. In the weeks and months to come I would begin to see just how good of a trainer Kyle was. Not only had I lost weight I was the strongest I had ever been in my life. In November of 2016 I ran my first 1/2 marathon. I can honestly say this would have never happened without the knowledge, encouragement, dedication and personal training from Kyle Blandford. To boot I can also do countless push-ups along with 10 unassisted pull-ups. The confidence I have now is priceless - thank you from the bottom of my heart! Brooke
Katie is the BEST. I work out alot and know how to work out. I've been to a few personal trainers or dieticians over the years with no success. What Katie did for me was more important than any workout...she debunked all the myths and fad diets I was utilizing and thus not getting to goal weight. She talked about the sience behind losing weight and applied this to my diet and work outs. I only had that last stubborn 10lbs to lose and did it in less than 6 weeks. I love my life style.....not my diet. Katie taught me it's OK to have a banana or a carb. Try to eat as clean as possible and if you fall off make sure it falls in calorie range. Thus, I never feel deprived. Another important aspect Katie brings to her service is she truly cares about you as a person . She noticed I was beating myself up about my physical appearance and she taught me ways to be more positive with myself. She also taught me ways to deflect those people who try to sabotage your diet. I'm so glad I found Katie because she's helped me physically, mentally and emotionally in this journey that I will incorporate for life. THANKS Katie!!!! I feel and look AMAZING ;))))
I had just gotten engaged when I decided it was time for a change. I was terrified that I would be disappointed in my wedding photos, and in my dress shopping experience, so I knew I needed to try something different. I had attempted to loose weight before, and was successful to a point. However, I would get tired of the same routine, bland foods, and made up every excuse my hectic schedule would allow, to skip my workout or get fast food. Before I knew it, any weight I had lost, I gained back and then some. I felt like I had no clue what to do to successfully loose weight, and felt like I needed some help to get started in the right direction. I had always been really intimidated by the idea of personal trainer or fitness classes. I thought I would be way more out of shape than anyone else in the class or feel uncomfortable with one on one attention. However, that shiny new ring on my finger gave me that extra incentive to step out of my comfort zone and look for a personal trainer. I really had no clue where to start. I made a request on Thumbtack and spoke with several trainers just to see if personal training would even be a good fit for me. After meeting Josh the decision was easy. He made me feel comfortable with things I was nervous about, such as creating a meal plan I could stick to, even though I'm a very picky eater, and assured me my goals for my body were achievable. I was still extremely nervous to start my workouts, but Josh made me feel much better from the start. I've been working with Josh for over 5 months now and though I still have a long way to go, I've achieved more than I ever realized I could. When I started working out consistently I expected to loose some weight. However, I didn't expect to become stronger, leaner, have a happier attitude, more energy, more confident, and a better understanding of nutrition any my own body. I've learned so much from Josh! My entire mindset has refocused. I'm no longer only doing this for a dress, or pretty wedding photos. I'm doing this to better my entire life and thanks to Josh, so far so good :) I'm starting to see more and more improvement from myself and it feels great. I'm so happy that I made the decision to seek out a personal trainer but even more happy that I chose Reed's Wellness and Fitness Training specifically. I cannot say enough great things about Josh's approach to helping people. I could go on forever about the different things he does that makes making these lifestyle changes manageable. From specific nutrition advice, to working around injuries, or helping to strengthen muscles that caused me continual back pain, it has been truly a personalized experience that I don't see how any other trainer could do it better. I can highly recommend Derrick for a personal trainer. He is very personal young man who is dedicated to his profession. I like the fact that he will push me beyond what I would do if I were on my own. His workouts have helped me gain strength and I feel better for it.

As a person who has avidly worked out in the past, this was my first time using a personal trainer. I was amazed at what a difference it made. John was extremely professional. I've been working with Eric for several months and I can see great progress. Eric is a good listener and manages the personal training plan based on your goals and objectives. Mission 5 is neat and clean and rarely crowded plus a great, central location. I interviewed many personal trainers in the greater Cincinnati area and I am glad I found Eric. Yes it is wonderful having a personal trainer come to your home, but that's just the beginning. Tania is professional, respectful, kind, and warm. She creates workouts that meet your needs and also don't make you too sore. I haven't had a personal trainer do that before. She is in tune with me and knows when to push and when to back off. She's the best personal trainer I've known. I've worked with 4 others over the years.

Jessica is so great at what she does! I was very hesitant to start working with a personal trainer being that I never have before and really have never lifted weights other than machines at large gyms like Planet fitness sometimes. I’ve progressed more with her in the last couple months than I ever have. I feel great and look forward to my sessions with her each week. She offers so much more than just an hour session. She’s helped with my diet and my work outs outside of the personal training sessions as well. She will adapt to your needs and comfort level but still push and encourage you when you need it. So glad I decided to give her a shot!
Garrett is a great trainer. He's a friend of a Friend and I had asked him for help getting into shape and he agreed. He is such a good person to train with. HIGHLY recommend him if you're looking for a trainer.
Kimberly is my personal trainer and is fabulous. She has a very positive attitude and a wealth of knowledge. I have had three previous trainers and she is the only one who has listened to my goals and limitations and formulated a plan specifically tailored to meet those goals without injuring me. She would be a great trainer for both the younger and more mature client.
Love working with this trainer. She knows how to push without pushing? and is very pleasant and easy going. I look forward to our training days.
Heather was a wonderful Crossfit Level I Trainer at Crossfit Troy when I joined there in 2011. I had just retired from teaching at that time and transferred my membership from Crossfit Heights because it was a farther drive. I felt bad when Heather left to work at another box. I have been a Crossfitter since 2009. I have had many fine coaches, but the only time I met my ideal weight was when Heather was my coach. I'm now 65 years old. I have arthritis in my knees, and am about 20 pounds overweight...but I'm still active thanks in part to the great trainers I have had. I placed 2nd in my age group in the Autism Awareness 5K in Fletcher April 30th, 2017. I highly recommend her as a coach.
I have attended several of his “mornings at the bar” classes. The bars are different, which is what attracted me to the class in the first place. I wasn’t the same old thing you find at the gym. Seth’s energy and teaching style is great. I stayed interested and motivated the whole class. I recommend signing up for his personal training as well!!! He is great and you will not be disappointed!!!
