Generally a very good move, nothing of value was broken. I surprised them with a piano that had to be moved to the in-laws at the last moment, and they handled it well. Not the brawniest of guys, but they got the job done with a minimum of chit-chat. My main concern was that there was no pre-move in-person consultation to determine how much stuff I had, thus when the guys showed up, they had to call in another mover to help because I had more stuff than was anticipated. I assumed I would have these folks to myself all day, yet they talked about another job they had after mine was done (which got nixed when my move ran late, I guess). It was tough for me to estimate how many folks it would take to get the job done, but the on-line estimate I received was for a two-person move (which became a four-man crew the day of). So what I was hoping was an $800-ish job turned out to be a $1,200 job (plus tips for the guys). Eh, moving is expensive, is the bottom line. Also, I had to leave behind some things they weren't up to moving (a treadmill in the basement, which they could not dismantle) and a table (miscommunication on what stayed and what went on both our parts). The guys handled the surprises well though, nothing of value got damaged. Good guys, good move overall. Just do your best to prep and estimate the size of the job, would be my suggestions.

Contacted Jacob with first found set of issues and he threatened me w a "slander" lawsuit. Contacted him about second broken item he simply ignored me. My best advice to anyone moving is to find a different moving company. They arrived over 2 hours late and so Jacob threw in an extra guy to make the move go smoother except it didn't go smoother bcuz there was nothing but chaos from 1 worker who was all over the place and kept having meltdowns and talking about how much " crap" we had. The same person drove off with the truck and got lost for 2 hours. So by the time he found his way back to the new Brunswick which is actually Streetsboro( for some reason this man thought he was in and going to Brunswick) everyone's moral and attitude was poor to say the very least especially the one who kept melting down. I have scratches on my freshly painted walls, a lost bed rail from my new bed, a broken Amish swing, dented up fridge, and the list goes on. When I messaged Jacob he pretty much called me a liar and implied I was crazy and questioned my integrity. He said he never should have had his team disassemble or reassemble anything even though in my quote he told me not to worry about any of that and reassured me his team could handle everything with no problem. As well as all the damages the quote I received on the day he came to my home a month prior to the move inflated about $600 on moving day. Plus I had to go back the next day and move 2 loads myself. So much for the movers handling everything as quoted. My fault for not getting everything in writing and having him sign it. Also my fault for not checking things with a fine tooth comb at 11pm when they finally finished b4 signing off on everything to just get them out of my house bcuz I'd had enough of the bad attitude man all day who lost the truck and caused this mess till 11 pm. I didnt start the move late, nor did I lose the truck but my belongings were damaged bcuz they were negligent. So again...save your money and headache and use a different moving coming. Hard and expensive lesson learned!!!
