Lisa was awesome! I purchased several sessions with her as a gift for my parents for Christmas and they have been so happy with her as a trainer. She has made them feel very comfortable, listened to what they were wanting out of their sessions, and really helped them get back on track with their exercise. Her knowledge in different kinds of strength training, exercise, and stretching has been perfect for them and the convenience of her coming to their house has made all the difference. Travis is a great trainer to work with. He asks a lot of questions and is genuinely interested in your specific goals, with a really healthy focus on nutrition and full-body health, including guidelines for when to eat, how much sleep to aim for, workouts outside of a gym (when traveling), and more. Travis is easy-going and attentive I can't say how many times I pinged him with a question via email or text to which I usually got a fairly prompt answer, a huge help for someone who's struggling to learn the ropes of a healthier diet and fitness. Compared to other trainers I've worked with in the past, this was a huge thumbs up. In the end I was unable to stick with it for personal reasons, but I highly recommend anyone interested in getting fit consider Travis for his acumen and ability to inspire.
I've been working out with Marcos from Compact and he has been fantastic. It's so convenient to have him come to my apartment complex gym for training and he's always well prepared with a plan. The difficulty level of the workouts he programs is spot on.

I sought out personal training on the recommendation of my physical therapist. The goal was to continue strengthening exercises to improve the condition of my injured ankle and problematic knees. I have to admit, I was terrified to start working with a personal trainer... I was obese, out of shape, and feared that I would be judged. Then I stumbled across Corey at Thrive Body Balance and realized I had nothing to fear. He was very welcoming and willing to work with me unconditionally and without judgment. I've been working out with Corey weekly for nearly 6 months now. I feel so much stronger, and that has helped me both physically and in terms of my confidence. I also feel like I'm taking great strides towards lifelong health, as Corey works with me on "corrective" exercises to improve the alignment and balance of my body. I would most definitely recommend Corey to anyone and everyone. He is extremely knowledgeable, understanding, flexible, patient, wise, and truly just a joy to spend time with. After all this time, I still look forward to my weekly personal training sessions. They have been worth every penny, and I feel very lucky to have found a trainer like Corey.
When I first met Jaylen I was intimidated by him. He's huge, so naturally I thought he'd just make me huge. After doing some fitness assessments though, Jaylen wrote the most perfect fitness routine for me that was specifically designed to get me where I needed to go. A great trainer will guide you, get you on the right path, then let you go. In my opinion, I think that's a great way to keep people coming back. Don't get me wrong; I still get personal training sessions from time to time, because a person needs reassessment from time to time. If you hire someone as in tune physically, mentally and educationally, as Jaylen is, you get the very best deal out of anyone. If you go to corporate gyms, hire trainers there that are forced to just sell training sessions, you don't get a decent anything. You get someone just going through the notions, because they aren't getting paid properly. You'll either wind up getting hurt, or buying too many sessions without seeing any results. I may come off as biased, but that's only because I know from my own personal experiences what having someone like Jaylen supporting me is like. I can guarantee if you go through with hiring him as your trainer, you will be making the right steps to your personal goals.
I have been training with Jake for about 4 months. I can say he is the best trainer I've had. And I've been through a few. What I can say about Jake: I feel like he's got my back. Any trainer can push you to work hard and make you do a hard workout. What I like about Jake is that he can push me but knows when I should also pull back and rest. He is wonderful with stretches! He is also very fit and a good coach. The two qualities together make for an exceptionally effective trainer. His passion for fitness shows. Jake is also a good communicator. That doesn't mean he's always chatty or got a slick front but he's very good at reading his clients and seeks to understand and listen to you. He's a good read of people. I also don't feel judged by Jake like I have with other trainers. He's a super great guy who treated my initial difficulties working out with empathy, compassion and flexibility. With Jake, I had come back to working out again after a physical setback and had put on the most weight I'd ever gained. I am also a woman in her fifties and weight is the hardest to get off than previously for me. In three months he's helped me reduce all my measurements! And last but not least, Jake is a professional. He shows it in his voice, conversation and his attitude. Do not look any further for a trainer! Jake is the best.
My husband and I have been working out with Lexie for 3 years. She is always on time, professional and adapts our workouts to our individual needs. We are able to workout at our home and she is not phased by young kids or dogs joining us.
Alex responded to my request quickly and was quite personable in his responses (not the generic messages one normally receives here). He was incredibly flexible and worked with me/my schedule to provide a training time that would benefit me. He adapted his training sessions to fit my personal needs and created an awesome workout regimen that worked me super hard but was really enjoyable the entire time. After our workout, he had some diet and supplement suggestions to aid me in reaching my fitness goals. Initially, I was looking to lose 15lbs, grow a booty, and have a bikini body for my upcoming tropical vacation. Without judgement of my goals, Carolyn took me under her wing and assured me that I would achieve them. At first, I was a bit skeptical because she had me working out my arms and shoulders when I specifically wanted to target my stomach and glutes. I put my trust in her and followed her lead. She taught me the importance of having a well rounded workout regimen and sculpting each body part individually to feel good about my body in its entirety. I lacked a well rounded workout regimen, consistency, commitment, and discipline in which she helped me restore. Not only am I happy with the physique she has helped me work so hard to achieve, I am happy with my newfound confidence, mindset, inner and outer strength that I have gained from training with Carolyn. Got off on the wrong foot due to miscommunication on both our ends. However she totally turned it around and helped me reach my last minute deadline. She kept the class interesting and made me feel as if I really understood the material. Highly recommend her again.
I have worked with many professional coaches and trainers over the years to improve my sport, fitness and specific strength goals. In working with Constance, I have had more success improving my shoulder stability and strength as well as balancing the power in my hips and legs than I have ever had with other trainers. She has a very good eye for correct body mechanics and suggesting ways to adjust to safely get the most out of a movement. Her approach is positive and clear but pushes me to go beyond what is comfotable to get results. I would recommend Constance's teaining to anyone wanting to get stronger. I am stronger than I have been in years and can finally do that pull up!
Jesse is seriously one of the best trainers!! Not only did he help me achieve my fitness goals, he gave me the confidence I was lacking in the gym.
