We bought voice lessons for our son-in-law who has never sung before. He loves his lessons! We heard Jesse in concert. He sang an hour-long series of broadway hits (one of his many genres). He has a wonderful voice and range and is a great pianist. Really relates well to audiences and students
Emily is by far the best voice teacher I've had the pleasure of working with. In the past, I've had voice lessons from other teachers who were referred to me because of their years of experience, but this just translated into working with someone who was set in their ways and styles of teaching. Emily helps you explore your vocal abilities while providing techniques and critiques on improving. She is able to meet the client where they are at whether it is children, college students, or adults and helps them build their self-confidence. Emily is an extremely passionate person and accomplished musician.
My daughter is 12 years old and absolutely loves working with Judy Malings for her voice lessons. It's been over 1 year now and I've seen incredible singing improvement and on-stage confidence in her. Judy is talented, organized, and truly cares about maximizing the voice sessions for her students benefit. Judy's singing showcase events are very professional and fun. They're a wonderful display for parents to see the amazing progress in their kids singing talent. Judy Malings is a great mentor for music and voice!
My wife and I have been taking music lessons with Kyle for over a year. He is a very versatile musician being proficient on the piano, guitar and vocals. Because of this he is able explain many different aspects of music. He is also extremely patient. Kyle is the best.
My 10 year old son started taking piano lessons with Deanna Maio at Confident Voice Studios a couple of months ago, and she has done a terrific job connecting with him and helping him advance his piano practice. We highly recommend Deanna!
When we arrived for the initial consultation for singing lessons and my daughter saw the piano, she asked if she could take piano lessons first. So, we're now taking piano lessons from Bonnie. I find her to work very well with kids, my daughter is 8, and my daughter likes her and is happy too. She explains things clearly, gives praise when earned, and is helpful and pleasant to work with.
I have had 2 singing lessons so far from Eleni. I feel that I am improving already! She is very skilled and observant and can see quickly where I am holding tension and help guide me how to relax both physically and mentally in ways that instantly effect my voice in positive ways. I am very excited to continue working with her and I highly recommend her as a teacher. She is experienced, highly knowledgeable, friendly and comfortable to be around and effective!!
We contacted Nyssa about getting a voice-lesson gift certificate for a Christmas present for our daughter. She has been delightful to work with in setting up the surprise. We can't wait to give it to her and for her to start taking her lessons.
Greta has been teaching my 13 year old daughter voice lessons for over 6 months. She is a natural, enthusiastic teacher that easily puts my daughter at ease, helps her to feel confident and challenges her every lesson. Greta has great communication both with me and my daughter. She is always open to new ideas While maintaining a focus on the goals they have set. Every week i see how dedicated Greta is to my daughters growth, not just as a vocalist but as a young woman. It makes me so happy to know my daughter has another adult in her life that believes in her! It easily makes the hour drive back and forth every week worth the trip! And it should be noted Greta made the drive to see my daughter perform in her middle school play, and helped her prepare for her girls choir audition, which she she joined this fall!
I couldn't ask for more from Cameron. He keeps lessons fun and my kid love him. He has an obvious passion for music, and brings a 'big picture' approach that doesn't feel tedious. He's also very in tune with my kids' strengths and weaknesses and tailors his lessons perfectly. He is our 3rd teacher - and the perfect fit. I also love getting voice lessons from Cameron, and have progressed from clueless to confident over several weeks.
Heidi is a gifted singer and vocal coach. Our daughter has had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Heidi over a period of years and has blossomed under her supervision. Since studying under Heidi our daughter has been presented with many wonderful opportunities including being accepted into a magnet academy for children that are gifted musically, she has auditioned for many musical venues, made state choir and won state in solo for her age group.
Heidi teaches creatively, uses positive reinforcement and is highly encouraging....she never gets short with her students and always has effective solutions to offer them when they hit vocal road blocks, enabling them to grow.
We highly recommend Heidi to anyone in search of an expert for voice lessons in the Portland, Oregon metro area.

I have been taking voice lessons with Amy for over 5 years and she is absolutely fantastic! She is very knowledgeable and has helped me improve my technique while giving performing experience and expanding my repertoire. I would 100% recommend her as a voice teacher!
Helen, was AMAZING, she taught my 6 yr daughter her first piano lesson. We were going to try out a few different teachers, but after meeting her, I have no interest going anywhere else. Thank you for being so friendly and so talented! <3 A few things that were important to me were, 1. She could connect with my 6 year old. 2. That she could teach syllabus. 3. That she has opportunities for her students to perform during the year. She met all three of those. :)
Daniel is knowledgeable, patient, and personable. He catered each lesson to my individual progress and learning speed. His prices are very reasonable and he even provides a discount if you pay for a whole month of lessons at once. Unfortunately, I had to stop attending lessons due to a schedule change at work, but if I had not, I would still be going. I would absolutely recommend Daniel to anyone who is interested in learning more about music!
Anya is an amazing teacher. She has great stories and multiple ways of explaining things. She creates a great learning environment for learning and has helped increased my confidence (which is why I wanted voice lessons). She has also successfully convinced me that I am actually a soprano and can hit notes I would have never thought possible. I always look forward to our lessons and working with her.

I am 23, used to sing in choir in high school, but haven't done anything since. Singing is a good release for me, but I don't like singing in front of other people. Looking to improve my voice and pick up some new styles, but just for fun.
