I met Teresa at an OMSI event, I love the idea of training outdoors so I gave her a call. I have had major health issues/surguries over the last four months, and Teresa listened to every word; she asked insightful questions about my health goals and diet habits. I am not yet physically ready for the group classes and she offered personal training geared to help me become ready! I was moved by her compassion for health and helping others. Besides her awesome business (green) philosophy, she is incredibly dedicated to others and working with their specific health, schedule and budget issues. I am really looking forward to keeping active and getting stronger with Teresa's coaching.

Cara is an excellent personal trainer! I enjoy her challenging workouts and that she teaches me to listen to my body. Cara is great about varying workouts so they never get boring. I was worried that I'd be criticized about my weight as a way to 'motivate' but I never once felt judged about my size.

Simply calling Travis a coach is a bit of a disservice. Yes, he is a skilled instructor who ably teaches strokes and strategy to players at every skill level but he does it in a way that is more a kin to a Boy Scout; he is always prepared to give expert advice on the latest equipment, he is patient enough for beginners and skilled enough for advanced players, his multi-media approach helps us analyze professional players- and offers the same technology to analyze our own play, and he makes each lesson as enjoyable as singing songs around a camp fire. Travis has skillfully transformed every aspect of my game from my serve to my doubles strategy and he has virtually eliminated my shoulder and elbow pain through improved stroke mechanics but he has approached this in a way that I look forward to each lesson. If the boy scouts offered a tennis patch he would have two. Thanks Boy Scout.
Michael is the best. The HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) aka Boot Camp is great! It doesn't matter if you are young, or young at heart, he'll go out of his way to keep things fresh and make it fun for everyone. Where ever you may find yourself at within your fitness journey, he'll modify things to suit you. Michael and Nick are the awesome!!
I've had a great experience with Janan. I came in with a crazy goal and a lot of fear and she has been really positive and encouraging. Workouts are always different and challenging.
I have been training with Belinda for over 2 years and it is time well spent. She really listens and is very knowlegable in proving a program that is geared to my needs. Jake Linford is an amazing personal trainer. He kept me motivated and feeling great about myself through out the entire training process. He made me work very hard but the work outs were always fun and entertaining. He has a very positive attitude and came prepared to every workout. This is the best improvement I've ever seen in my body.
243. The number flashed on the scale, staring me right in my bewildered face. I stepped off the scale, tapped it with my big toe, and stepped back on. 243. I stepped off the scale and shook my head in bewilderment. How did I let this happen? How did I slip this far? I had thought my face looked round mere moments ago in that family photo, but 243…this was a disaster. A disclaimer… I have struggled with my weight and body image my entire life. I am not, nor was I ever, the most athletic individual. I swam competitively for a number of years, and I took a number of dance classes in college, but athletic is an adjective I would never use to describe my physical ability. Back to 243... From that moment on, I made myself a promise. I would change. I would take my insecurities and confront them head on. I would become athletic. Bolstered by this determination, I began the tedious process of vetting a gym. At the time, I was working downtown at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, so finding a gym close to work was crucial. After some preliminary online research, I grabbed my co-worker for moral support and trekked down the block to Gold’s Gym. Shannon, my fearless cohort, was already a member of Gold’s Gym and urged me to join after our tour of this gleaming tower of physical perfection. Needless to say, I signed on the dotted line. I was a member of a gym. It was time to shed the pounds and increase my self-determined self-worth. I adopted a new mantra: Your dreams only work if you do. The next day I had scheduled my free fitness assessment with someone named Brittany. I arrived, changed into my workout clothes, and checked in at the front desk, nervous, anxious, and ready to run out the door. Seconds later, I was greeted by a girl in a red trainer’s t-shirt with her name printed across her heart and black workout shorts. She stuck out her hand, shook mine, and took me upstairs to take my measurements and learn more about my fitness and personal goals. Little did I know that this fitness assessment would be more than just assessing my then lack of physicality. It would be the foundation and formation of a friendship and mutual support system. We clicked instantly. Brittany possessed the right amount of sass and drive to whip me into shape and encourage me every step of the way. Immediately after the assessment I signed up for three months of personal training, twice a week with Brittany. Fast-forward nine months later. I was strong. I was confident. I was athletic. Brittany had completely changed my life for the best. I was at my gym 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day before and after work, taking boot camp classes, swimming, lifting, and doing yoga. Brittany had taught me that physical fitness was more than just lifting weights, it was nutrition, it was mental health, it was finding an inner balance. She taught me that fitness is a journey, with twists and turns along the way. That we have good days and bad, and we can assess each as it comes and not stray from the goals ahead. She helped me realize my potential and pushed me to meet it. The moment I met Brittany my life changed. Through her friendship, she helped me discover that I could do anything I set my mind to. Your dreams only work if you do, so it’s time to keep working.
I LOVE training with Maria! She made my workouts fun and engaging. I got significantly stronger under her tutelage and learned tips and skills for transforming and improving my body with everyday activities (walking, standing etc). She knows how to listen and tailored my workouts to help with an injury. She pushed me to try new things or do one more set or do it with a heavier weight, and she was always right when she said I would not regret it. She made me look forward to my training sessions in a way I never had before and she always improved my day. She became more than just a trainer, she became my friend. And I know I am not an isolated example because wherever we went, everyone knew Maria and had wonderful greetings and big smiles for her. She is just one of those amazing people who improves the world around her.
