I feel so lucky to have found Aaron! He has really done an amazing job to help me complete and understand my Pre-Calculus course. I have found Aaron to be readily available for questions and extra help, as well as making sure I understand everything well. He is overall a fantastic tutor, and definitely someone I will go to in the future for help with other classes.
Ms. Jill was excellent from the start. She met with my daughter for an initial "introduction" meeting before getting started with an actual tutoring session to ensure it would be a good fit and that my daughter would be comfortable with her. She spoke in length with me to get to know my child's strengths, weaknesses, personalities and what exactly I was looking for in a tutor. Ms. Jill really connects with my daughter and works to find out where she is weak in reading comprehension and vocabulary so she can help strengthen those weaknesses. My daughter has a learning difference and Ms. Jill has proven to be able to navigate through that to help her understand the information being taught. She is very patient, kind and understanding which makes it a great fit for my daughter who can at times be very sensitive and get frustrated when not catching on as quick as she would like to. In just a few sessions, Ms. Jill has helped boost her confidence and given her strategies to help with reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms and vocabulary in school and during testing. I highly recommend Mrs. Max as a tutor, especially for children with learning differences. She really gets through and makes a difference.
This program was the only reason I accomplished my goal score. The teachers are extremely dedicated to making sure that each student is getting the most out of the program. I didn't feel like just another number in this program; I felt like the tutors actually cared if I succeeded. I've recommended TEACH to several friends and they loved it just as much as I did. So thankful to the TEACH team for all their help.
Heather is very personable and puts kids at ease quickly. She knows the tests, the strategies for both reading and math and she is a great PSAT/SAT prep tutor.
Christina is knowledgeable in understanding the specific details of both the SAT and ACT tests. After meeting with my daughter for the first time Christina was able to do an assessment using components of both the SAT and ACT to help my daughter decide which test will better represent her knowledge. My daughter appreciated how kind and patient Chrisitina was during the tutoring time. My daughter was able to understand the information reviewed during the session and Christina developed a plan to assist her in preparing for the college entrance exam. Christina is timely in her response to emails and punctual and prepared for the tutoring sessions. Christina is professional, yet warm and friendly to both the student and parent. ~February 2018 ~Mother, Educator ~King of Prussia Pennsylvania
Michelle is an exceptional Tutor who has helped my son with Math on various occasions. Her approach is very personable, as she takes relatively difficult topic such as Math, and makes it fun and exciting for my son. As a result, I have seen a drastic improvement in his comprehension of the subject. Additionally, she has even taken the initiative to help him with other subjects in his class when there is time left over from her tutoring, and the Math homework is already complete. I strongly recommend Michelle to anyone who is in the market searching for a Tutor with the solid credentials.
My daughter always seemed to have panic attacks leading up to tests. I was desperate to find a way for her to be comfortable especially as SATs were coming up. All I can say is after a few weeks with the tutors and life coaches at Chelsea International Education, my daughter’s confidence level went up a lot. She was not only prepared to take her SATs but her core academic skills have improved tremendously, which has helped her with her AP exams. The fact that all of the Chelsea tutors are fully qualified teachers, I think makes a major difference and really sets them apart. It really is a quality service and I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.
She was a great SAT/ACT tutor as well as mentor and friend. She helped me incredibly throughout the entire college application process and has since been a voice of reason in major academic decisions! Highly recommend.
John was my son's Pre-Cal (as well as his other subjects) tutor, when he was in the 11th grade. John helped him learn new study skills and organizational techniques. My son was extremely comfortable working with him and always improved on whatever they focused on. John is professional and reliable as well as personable. I will be hiring him to help my son with his ACTs this year!
Kevin was a wonderful tutor, and helped my daughter a great deal.
Quick response, professionalism.
So far so good with tutoring for my son ! My son says that he knows his stuff . He is learning a lot already . Manav is scheduling reading for my son to complete . Manav was great with communicating with me to get the tutoring started . He has been timely . They've met up twice so far and we plan to continue until Manav is off to college . I had Manav provide me with a resume and documentation of his score of a 5 on his Calculus Exam . I also requested to have two references with one being his advisor from his high school . He provided me what I needed and his references both were great and they both spoke highly of Manav . They said that he was more than qualified to tutor calculus II. We are pleased !

Who We Are We are three PennMed students offering MCAT tutoring services in the Philadelphia area. We collectively hold undergraduate majors in physics, chemistry, cell and molecular biology, and biochemistry, and all of us scored 36 or higher on the MCAT. Our Philosophy Like every standardized test, scoring well on the MCAT requires both knowledge of the test material and knowledge of the test itself. With our recent experience taking the MCAT exam and our extensive undergraduate and medical school science backgrounds, we offer not only knowledge in the MCAT subject material but also a keen understanding of how to approach MCAT style questions. Though each of us has a broad science background, we also have our areas of expertise, and we will match each student with the best possible tutor, should they wish to focus on a particular subject. While we offer supplementary materials, we do not use a set curriculum but instead design a program of study best suited to the strengths and requirements of each individual student. Whether you want a long-term tutor to prepare you from day one of your studies or a last-minute review of a specific subject area, we will help you achieve your highest possible score. We also offer tutoring for specific subjects (physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics) as well as other standardized tests -- SAT, ACT, and GRE. Our Pricing Tutoring services are offered at $50 an hour. We are happy to answer questions via email between lessons at no additional fee. We will meet anywhere in the West Philly, University City, Center City, or South Philly neighborhoods and can travel to further destinations for an additional fee of $50 an hour.
