Last Friday 10.30.15 was the first Line Dance Lessons for myself and friends. We found the studio easily and were welcomed by the owner Maria Jacobs. She made our lesson fun and productive. We actually experienced 8 dances and were able to easily follow Maria's lead. Everyone is anxious to return for Lesson #2 tomorrow night. We found the experience fun and definitely a good work out. Anyone looking to learn Line Dancing and have a good time too should come out to see Maria at Valley Forge Dance School.

Regarding Peter's lessons, I always found them to be very informative and helpful in my ongoing attempts to learn the International Style of Ballroom Dancing. He really knows his subject and always delivered a lesson with lots of detail, patience and added humor, which was a bonus!

We needed a dance instructor that was able to work with us around our tight schedules & someone who was also affordable. Ellis Roderick met all of our needs and went above and beyond what we ever expected. He choreographed a unique, amazing wedding dance routine for us and taught us “how” to dance like we were on dancing with the stars. He was fun, experienced, encouraging, professional, and awesome! He even invited us to join his adult competition dance team by the end of our lessons. We would definitely recommend anyone who wants to have fun and learn how to dance...go to Ellis!!

My fiance and I took dance lessons with Sandra Dee leading up to the our wedding. And can I tell you it was worth every penny. Sandra was patient with us (DANCE IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS!) and she had fun with us! We not only gained some amazing dance moves but gained a friend in Sandra. I seriously can't recommend doing this enough.

I have been introduced to an activity that involves having a good time, learning and making friends. Top it off with the fact that this is good for you too! TC Dance Club is a non competitive dance studio with a social country club atmosphere. I can't get enough of the themed parties among other things. Their knowledge of teaching ballroom and Latin dancing make TC Dance Club an educational, wonderful, warm, friendly and FUN place to be!

About

My work stands out more than the average dance teacher because I am skilled in more than one type of dance. I was trained as a classical ballet dancer since I was 8 years old. After high school I decided I wanted to pursue dance in college and went to Mason Gross School of the Arts as part of Rutgers University. There I widened my dance horizons drastically as I learned everything one needs to know about how to be a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. I was introduced to modern, African dance, jazz, choreography, and a number of other courses that teach you about the dance world past, present, and future. Since my training has been in multiple dance forms and I have a degree in dance, I am able to help my students with ANY questions they may have about what it takes to be successful. What also makes me stand out from the average teacher is that I currently work at a dance retail store, which furthered my knowledge of dance retail as I am now educated in the art of fitting pointe shoes. I am educated in deciding what shoe is best for the dancer and am knowledgeable in the many different brands and styles. I can help dancers choose what is best for their foot shape, strength, and comfort.
