I had Pierre as a Personal Chef for a dinner party of five. He worked with me as I drew up an individual menu from his offerings.
I liked that I had the freedom to deviate from his many wonderful suggested menus. He arrived two hours before the guests arrived in order to be certain that all was in order. He brought some of his
personal equipment for the preparation, while also using mine.
Before each of the four courses he gave a brief description of the dish, which helped make the meal such a special experience. Since I have a loft-like, open-plan arrangement of the kitchen, dining room, and living room; it was an experience like some restaurants provide for those who wish to sit at a table in the kitchen. The food got raves from my guests and me. One said it was impossible to pick her favorite course because they were equally wonderful. As we were lingering over dessert, he spotlessly cleaned up the kitchen. What a great experience!! Of great importance too is his personality; he is so easy to work with. Oh, and two years ago I engaged him to provide a variety of hors for a cocktail party. Again, the experience was perfect.
