Stephanie J. Beavers is a superb editor. I wanted my book to be in my own voice, with my own cadence and rhythm, and she did what all first-rate editors do: she tuned her ear to mine. As my editor, she patiently corrected my poor grammar, punctuation, spelling, and word choice. She gave me different phrases to choice from if mine were awkward or stilted. She helped me format my book, putting in headers, section breaks, and an index. She proofread my manuscript, pointing out confusing statements. It was a joy to write a draft of my book, but the editingI entered that phase with some apprehension. But working with Stephanie made the editing easy. Sure, there was a lot of work by the both of us, but for me there was the joy of seeing my book slowly, step by step, coming to fruition with her help. I have a book on Amazon that Im very happy with, thanks to Stephanie.

Working with Shalon Cleaver has been a blessing! I recommend her editorial services to any and everyone looking g for an editor. Not only was her price for the work reasonable, her work ethic and down to earth personality are refreshing. I was worried in choosing an editor for my first manuscript. She has made the entire process so easy and enjoyable!!
David had responded to a Craigslist post I had made requesting the services of a writer to formulate my artist biography for publicity purposes. Amidst a slew of amateur responses, the professional demeanor in which David initiated our correspondence made me realize he might be the one, but that he would probably be far beyond my budget. I had never had a proper artist biography before and was overwhelmed by the process, but David guided me through with a fool proof, open-ended survey that would help me describe my life experiences as well as my history as an artist in a succinct manner. He assured me that he would know how to edit my lengthy responses since the survey was the same one he'd become accustomed to using for his company as editor-in-chief of MUTE Magazine, and he was right! When I received the final product, I was astonished! David's turnaround time was so prompt, and he was welcoming of any additional edits I had in mind. When I braced myself for the cost of the bio, David surprised me once again by not bursting my budget, and even asking if he could feature me in his magazine! As I've gotten to know David since our chance meeting, I've learned that he is genuinely the professional that he exudes on a daily basis. By hiring him, you will get the quality you desire with no corners cut!
Sara is a very experienced and thorough editor and quality assurance agnent, and her flair for writing is also unmatched. She brings wry humor and poignancy to everything she writes. She was a pleasure to work with.
I hired Michelle to edit a romance manuscript. I love to write, but hate editing. Im new in the business and had some real hangups about paying someone to read my work. Im also pretty thin-skinned even with constructive criticism. Michelle Horn made the process so much easier than I expected. I cant say enough about the experience I had with her. She was professional and friendly. She was considerate of my handicap (hearing impaired), fears, idiosyncrasies, and lack of knowledge and made the task as painless as possible. She worked with me to meet my goals and delivered on time. The editing program she used was uncomplicated which made it easy for me to make corrections or keep what I thought should remain. As an added bonus, she made a character chart that helped a great deal since Im writing a series of novels with the same characters. She also made a style sheet that I can refer to in the future. Through it all, she was in constant contact with me so I didnt have to guess or worry about anything. Michelle was also very encouraging. I don't know if that's something editors do, but I thought it was a nice touch to have someone make positive comments. Even her negative stuff didnt hurt very much. That is very important to someone just starting out. Ive leaned that you dont know how good a writer you are until a good editor attacks your work. My manuscript is a hundred percent better because of her eye for detail. Thank you Michelle.
Laurie edited my short article, which was already fairly well-written, in an expeditious manner. This enabled me to send it to the editor the very next day.
Over the last 2.5 years, David Gertler has helped me edit a book I am writing about chess. As a philosophy professor, I have had 12 books published in the last decade (mostly new editions of textbooks), and so I have extensive experience with editors, proofreaders, compositors, and so on. Mr. Gertler's work has been exemplary -- helpful, insightful, and prompt. He has done research for me, improved my prose, and noticed apostrophes that were backwards. He has marked up around 35 different chapters (sometimes multiple drafts), totaling several hundred single-spaced pages. I have agreed with upwards of 90% of his suggestions, which might be a record in my experience. He is one of the very best.
I have used Yve numerous times and I am happy with the results every time. She is a wonderful writer and she also is very good at proof reading articles and written work. I would recomend her to anyone and I hope everyone else has the wonderful experience with her that I had.
It was my pleasure to work with Lorrie from approximately 2010 to 2013. Lorrie was working as a Technical Editor on protocols and clinical study reports and I was a study manager. Lorrie was always professional and kind in her interactions. Her writing recommendations were very helpful and appropriate. I would recommend Lorrie without hesitation.
