My fiance and I went on thumbtack, looking for a personal chef to do our wedding. Of all the chefs who responded to us we were immediately impressed with how professional and thorough Tony was. Whereas others who contacted us simply gave us a price range based on our number of guests, Tony supplied us with some examples of menus from previous clients, but also assured us that what he would prepare for us would be specifically customized to meet our needs. He came to our home for an initial consultation, and we immediately hit it off. He was personable and professional. We discussed the menu as well as the logistics; including a tent, tables and chairs, dinnerware, and decorative flowers. We were relieved when he told us that he would take care of all of those things if we wanted, and he did, except for the flowers. (Although he did supply flowers for the tables and even offered to find someone to perform the ceremony) The affair was to be an intimate dinner with seventeen guests and we planned to have our wedding at home in the garden. We decided where the food would be prepared as well as the dining and serving tables. The menu we agreed upon was eclectic, with an international theme. It would consist of a five course dinner with a wine pairing with each course, and a cocktail hour before the first course. From the start, we loved how it sounded and we were eagerly anticipating seeing and tasting everything. Incidentally, he also made another trip to our home weeks later when we were having second thoughts about how to set everything up. The day of the wedding Tony and his staff arrived promptly. The rental tables, chairs and dinnerware had arrived the previous afternoon. After the ceremony and some photo taking was the cocktail hour. The hors d'oeuvres were all delicious and beautifully presented, and so were each of the five courses to follow. The staff was professional and courteous and their appearances were tasteful. The table settings were elegant, and exactly what we had wanted. The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding. The third course, grilled Pacific salmon and pan seared Chilean sea bass, drizzled with a strawberry citrus sauce was one of the most delicious dishes I ever had in my fife, and the salmon was grilled absolutely perfectly. If I had to find something less than desirable, I would say that there was one server who most guests agreed was not very friendly but she may have just been nervous. As for the food, there was an Australian grilled boneless leg of lamb which was a little overcooked for my wife and my tastes, but our guests had no complaints. However in all honesty, to find negative aspects of the entire experience I'm reaching somewhat, as the overall experience was simply amazing and all the things we loved about it far outweigh the aforementioned mild disappointments. It exceeded our already hopeful expectations. Furthermore, the price was definitely reasonable. When one of our guests inquired about the cost per plate (not including rentals) he was astounded that it did not cost much more. Finally, all of our guests raved about the day to no end and many of them said it was the most elegant wedding they had ever attended. I'm quite certain some of them will be contacting Tony for an event of their own.
Matt was great for my event. From the start, he was very responsive and helped provide the list of what to buy. He also alleviated some of the planning by catering the appetizers which made it super helpful. We hired 1 server and 1 bartender-- which we definitely should've hired one more person for the amount of guests we had-- but the two were super helpful. Even when it was down pouring, Matt continued to help and serve guests. I would absolutely recommend Matt. If you are even thinking about having servers at your event, definitely go with Santisi Catering!
This was my first time hiring a caterer for an event. Shannon was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The pricing was very fair and the food got great reviews from our guests! We did a simple barbecue with hot dogs, burgers, pulled pork, and grilled chicken. Sides were Mac and cheese and grilled vegies. There was plenty of food for our 70 guests. I would definitely recommend Hog Day Afternoon!

Kim was wonderful to work with. To say she was flexible is an understatement. She was so accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to make your event exactly the way you want it. Grill Chef Chaz was a wonderful grill chef who grilled for three & 1/2 hrs straight keeping the food flowing smoothly with no bottlenecking. He was so personable and a pleasure to have at the party. My guests were so pleased they asked for the caterers card. I whole heatedly recommend they're services!
Chef Greg and his team did an excellent job setting up and catering yummy foods at my wedding. Greg is very passionate in cooking... you will know it after you try his food. All my guests are still raving about the foods served that day especially the fish, braised beef polenta, and oxtail. The foods were not only delicious but also, illustrated remarkable artistic culinary skills. Stephanie was great in handling all the logistic parts, love the decor and end-result of the wedding venue. It was simply beautiful and elegant. Thank you for making my wedding day extra special!
Our experience with Harvest Specialty Catering and Jason was all that I could ask for. We chose this company for our daughter's barn wedding. Initially, Jason was willing to work with us for a limited portion of our event, something many caterers are NOT willing to do. After time (and a taste testing!) we opted to use him for all but dessert (we had a friend doing the cake.) We so appreciated his flexibility and willingness to work with us. He accommodated us and our changing needs at all points of our journey, even in the midst of his own challenges with equipment issues. We never knew about his difficulties until later, and not from Jason but the venue staff, as he and his crew pulled off a wonderful dinner. Our wedding guests were very complimentary of the food. On every level, we were thrilled with our choice. I would highly recommend this company for your event, whatever it may be.
We really liked S&B's set up at our wedding to make it a beautiful reception! The staff were friendly and very professional. Sodiah was especially flexible with the plans and easy to work with which helped to make the day go perfectly. The food was also great! We are thankful that they were our caterers and would recommend them to others.
Jerry's Kitchen just catered my son's graduation party and everything was fabulous! The crispy chicken sandwiches where huge and the cheesesteaks where tender and flavorful. The staff was super friendly and full of upbeat energy. My son's friends really got a kick out of the truck serving food in our driveway. Scott the owner made everything so easy for us.
One word. Amazing! Chef Jay is truly one of a kind and was everything that we wanted in a caterer and more. He came to our rescue, for our wedding reception, after a very poor experience with another caterer. Chef Jay made us feel at ease and always available to answer any questions that we had. He worked with our budget and was the epitome of what it means to be a professional. The services at the reception were prompt, the menu was creative, and we are forever grateful to F.E.A.S.T. We have already recommended him to our friends and family. Simply put - outstanding!
We have hired Deirdre numerous times now for a multitude of different events. Most recently, we hired her to cater a semi-formal dinner with some of our top clients. These were high-end clients, all of whom are well-traveled and have tasted some of the world's most exquisite dishes. The food was served cold, as the dinner was held in our showroom without access to a kitchen. However, we had no reason to worry -- every single one of our clients fell in love with Deidre! In comparison -- we hosted a similar dinner with the same clients last year at the world-renowned Eleven Madison, where our clients left feeling less than satisfied. A couple of our clients have already asked for her contact information and we're thrilled to see her gaining the recognition she so deserves!
I LOVE Bon Appetina Catering. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. She responds very quickly to an online order or even a phone call. The chicken turnovers are Amazing!! She is very willing to work any person to create a affordable menu.Have had many items and have never been disappointed!

I would like to thank John Gale and his staff for the wonderful stations and hors d’oeuvres prepared for me, my husband, and our 50 guests at our housewarming party on John gave us an extremely reasonable price quote and then went above and beyond our expectations. The food was delicious and substantial, and we got so many comments on how amazing everything tasted. The guests particularly loved the BBQ pull pork sliders, the wonderfully seasoned grilled chicken BLT sandwiches, and the spicy deviled eggs! John listened to us every step of the way and made sure to give us what we wanted and more. He was easily accessible—by email, phone, text, and in person (how many people could say they are able to reach their caterer at 11 p.m. at night?). We were able to relax at our party because John and his staff took care of everything (I cannot describe what a great feeling it is to just enjoy the party and know that we didn’t need to worry about anything). I have medical conditions that leave me exhausted after working 8 hour days. As a result, I would not have the energy to cook healthy meals. Our dinners included fast food, delivery or pre-packaged meals. When I found out that Traci, a friend of my sister, was in culinary school I approached her about becoming our personal chef and preparing 4-5 meals a week that are either ready to cook with minimal efforts or only needs to be reheated. In January 2015, we hired Traci as our personal chef. I provided Traci with some of our favorite recipes. A shared Pinterest board was also created to share online recipes. As my husband is a picky eater, finding recipes that he approves has been a challenge. Traci quickly learned acceptable foods and has been great about suggesting substitutions for recipes. After 2 months of working with Traci, I had to go on a low sodium diet. She had no problems modifying meals so they would be lower in sodium. Each week Traci prepares the next weeks meal plan by reviewing our approved recipes and requests for repeated meals. We review the meal plan and make changes as needed. Traci purchases the food while considering ingredients that she still has in stock. On the following day, she prepares the meals in her house. The meals are placed into glass dishes or covered disposable foil serving trays with copy of the recipes attached. After the meals are ready, I pick up them up at her house. The meals are then kept in the refrigerator (or the freezer) until I am ready to cook/heat it. We provide Traci feedback on each meal. Traci accepts our feedback well and takes into consideration our requests when making the meal again. The meals have been delicious and most have earned a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The meals not receiving 5 stars were not a result of Tracis meal preparation skills but due to the recipe, such as the seasonings. Prior to hiring Traci I was never fond of left-overs. Now I find myself excited to have left-overs. Traci has even gotten my husband to eat foods I never expected. My husband has eaten and really liked meals prepared by Traci that he did not like when made by myself or family. He has even eaten vegetables that he has refused to eat as he thought he didnt like them. I highly recommend Traci Zammetti as a personal chef. Not only are our meals better tasting than I would make, but we are healthier as a result of the healthier meals and less stress in our lives.
