Great experience! David and his coworker are really helpful and completed the moving job very fast and professional. They helped us wrap everything carefully, they dissembled the bed because it's too big to move, and assembled back to what it was in our new place, which was really great! The coworker even gave me his coat when I stranded outsider in such a cold weather! I will definitely hire them again for my next moving!
Glenn has seriously turned out to be the absolute best contractor that I have ever worked with! Ive had the opportunity to work with several others, both at my homes and at my businesses. A few contractors have been good, doing nice work for a fair price, but they were either too slow, too unreliable, or just couldn’t come up with creative ways to do things that were needed. Glenn completely remodeled a new salon for me, and built a custom color bar shelf, front desk, reclaimed beam stylist counter, and retail shelves. He worked with my budget, helping me make decisions based on the priorities, and was extremely friendly, professional, and reliable every step of the way. He went above and beyond, even facetiming with me or communicating with my husband when I was under the weather and couldn’t make it to the job site. I highly recommend him for any project, and will be using his services for every future project that I have, both in business and my home.
Very responsive, easy to work with. Performed job in time promised. The job called for some deck repairs and then seal coating. I was surprised how much sanding his team actually performed. The seal coating is still a little tacky in spots but I think it was because of the wet weather and lack of sun at this time of year. I would hire again.
Kevin did an excellent job! He painted my cabinets and replaced all the yucky brass hardware with nickel. They look gorgeous! He noticed the cabinet floor under the sink was falling and asked if he could fix it. That floor is so sturdy now it won't be moving for another 100 years. He also installed a threshold between my dining room and kitchen. The tile floor in the kitchen was higher than the hard woods. My company won't trip anymore. I'm so excited. Hire Kevin! He's honest and fair. We have other jobs lines up when the weather breaks 😃
Rick and his crew power washed and stained our decks. They installed lighting,as well. They were punctual and thorough.I can't speak highly enough of the great job they did.The only disappointment I had,was the rain putting a "damper" on things.Definitly calling them for our other home projects!
The project was a non-typical home addition. As the contractor, Dan Barrett shared his years of experience when recommending project plan alterations that resulted in improving the original design plans. Throughout the entire process, the construction site was cleaned up at the end of each day and materials were kept covered and protected from the weather. The combination of a team of skilled craftsmen, the full use of quality materials and solid attention to detail resulted in a very strong and beautiful finish. Barrett Custom Carpentry, LLC provided professional workmanship, continuous communication with the client and their prompt and polite service provided a pleasurable experience Barrett Custom Carpentry, LLC is an ideal contractor to work with.
Abott construction was hired to do 2 projects: 1) repointing of chimney w/ chimney cap installation and 2) roof leak repair Mark of Abott Construction was very quick with his corresondence. He is there when he says he will be there, even if it was freezing cold he was working up on the roof! He was the only roofer/contractor who suggested trying to repair the leak or save the roof first before replacing. He is trying his best to buy us a couple of years before spending the big money that a whole roof replacement will cost. Mark asked me to go on the roof with him so he can show me what he had done to the chimney and roof and we did a water test to check for garage roof leak. We ran the water from the hose for a good 15mins and it passed the leak test! No water leaking in the garage! The following day we got a verybad rain, it was raining non stop for 24hrs. Unfortunately after a good 3hours of heavy rain the garage started leaking again, Mark is trying his best to save the roof, he said he will try 1 more time to seal more of the shingles and see what that does,we are still awaiting a decent non snowy/rain/freezing weather conditions for him to try 1 last time. Fair pricing, fast correspondence, easy to talk to and dependable( will be there at your house if he says he will be there) job is finished on the amount of days he said it will take the job to be finished.
Everything went well just the weather got in the way. Very happy with Geno's work. Will and did already hired him and his brother back to do some work in my kitchen.
Fantastic job, Bill & his son delivered an excellent new sidewalk for our corner row home... Bill ensured that we were fully informed & kept 100% across the timings & progress of everything... He handled all the challenges caused by others & inclement weather professionally... I have already recommended him to several neighbors who were impressed when they saw the standard of delivery & finish on our property... I have also already engaged him for another job at our home.
4 Seasons was very helpful getting immediate response to code violations on 1 days notice to save me from getting my building condemned. They also repaired a problematic roof in a timely manner which was crucial due to rainy weather conditions. They had quick response times and were thorough with the repairs making sure it was done right.
We recently noticed a water leak coming from the outside in which we all know can be a big deal. Roger responded quickly, provided us with a reasonable initial estimate and and was out to our house within a couple of days. His professionalism and knowledge was very reassuring and he took the time to explain the pros and cons of various optiions. He also took the time to go around the house and look at a couple of other projects that needed to be addressed. Once again, he demonstrated his extensive knowledge and reassured me that that some things that I thought were fairly major were actually very routine. When I asked if these were something that he could do in conjunction with fixing the leak, he provided me with a very reasonable estimate and we agreed to do everything that the weather permitted. I highly recommend Roger and his company as a candidate for all of your handyman needs and am sure that under Roger's guidance his company would be an excellent choice as a general contractor for larger projects as well.

In January I had the Rebolledo family do some renevations for my new home. The renovations entailed a master bathroom shower remodel, bathroom floor tiling, painting of multiple rooms, crown molding installations, and a few plumbing repairs. They did a great job. When Jeovonie and his father came to give me and estimate they were very professional and timely. They took measurements on site and wrote down all the supplies and amounts they would need to completely the job. I found this extremely helpful and organized. Whatever supplies I was unable to get Jeovonie got for me. They gave me a two week estimate for completion which was extended due to weather conditions. The work they do is very good but, me being OCD and very particular I did find a few imperfections but, things I can live with. I felt the price was decent. They were also very protective of my wood floors and made sure they sweep and cleaned up every evening before leaving which I was very appreciative of. I provided them with a copy of my house key that they returned at the end of the job. They were very trustworthy and I allowed them to do work with no one home. I would recommend them to anyone and I would ask them back for any other projects I'd like done in the future. Thank you!!
Michael kept in touch on arrival time and was easy to communicate with. I needed all lot of small things done around the my home: caulked all 3 floors along joining row home, water-proofed patio wall, tightened bathroom fixtures, replastered water-damaged wall, repaired tub caulking. Great guy and easy to work with.
I hired Mr. Kerfoot to install a firewood shed 4x8x10 to provide shelter for seasoning wood for $850. I reviewed and approved plans before starting the project. Due to inclement weather project took longer than planned and the shed height needed adjustment, which he fixed. Overall the project met our needs. Mr. Kerfoot was professional, respectful and skillful. His pricing was better than the others. I would recommend him to others with similar needs.
We received four estimates and we decided to go with Basement Water Proofing Etc because of the following reasons: 1- They were professional and polite. This was very important because one of the companies' owner (A.J. Water proofing) was very grumpy and disrespectful. 2- They were local and with good reviews. 3- They were accepting different forms of payments. 4- Their price was reasonable. The entire process was smooth. Frank came over on time, described the process, and provided the estimate, professionally and politely! The contract was sent by their office and deposit was collected. The crew arrived on the site on the scheduled date and time. It is still too early to talk about the final quality, however, so far we are happy with the service. Just one recommendation for the company: Because of the nature of the work, the crew get very exhausted toward the end of the job, so, cleaning of the job's site becomes the second priority. It is best to implement a strategy to help the crew in this matter. For example: asking the crew to take a five minutes break before they start working on the cleaning.
Aaron came to my home after working a full day in Staten Island to rebuild my 3 step staircase on a ground level deck in 90 degree weather & finished the job the same night!!!!
Jeff was very perceptive to my needs his partner actually did xtra work for me making a nice border with xtra pavers for a small garden
We wish we hired Building Leaders to do the renovation that we undertook two years ago - they would have saved us a lot of money, time, and frustration. They honestly reinstilled our faith in the contracting community - we've had several terrible experiences from other contracting companies. This was such different and positive experience, we wanted to share. If you're looking for a contractor who is honest, keeps his promises, who delivers quality outcomes and within budget, and respects your home/personal space -- Building Leaders needs to be considered. They were hired to bring a pretty complex project and design to life. Sami, the owner, did an amazing job partnering with our Interior Designer, Keegan Riotto from Revamp Designs. They successfully completed a 3 month project that included a complete demolition of an unusable space. The scope of work also included building of multiple decks, build out and construction of new closets/rooms. They also masterfully installed a stacked stone wall - they did such an awesome job, the stacked stone manufacture has sent a photographer to take photos to showcase in their catalog/websites. Sami and team also installed ~800sq ft of Aztek pavers, completed electrical work to support a complex lifting scheme, roofing work, etc. Bottom line, Building Leaders -- is a very professional, honest, and skilled company that took Revamp's designs and beautifully transformed a once unusable space to an oasis that we're able to use on daily basis. His team was challenged with weather and other issues and they absolutely did an amazing job. One last item to share...those of you who've had renovations or work done on your house while living there - it can be terribly disruptive and stressful when you have the wrong contractor who does not respect the fact that you are living there during construction (we have small children) -- Sami and his team were so respectful and thoughtful in this regard - they took precautions to ensure our home and personal property (and kids) were cared for/safe and they the time to clean up the site EVERY day!! Thanks Building Leaders/Sami, we love our new spaces and appreciate they great work. I highly recommend Sami and his team - honest to work with, competitively priced, stellar craftsmanship, on time and extremely respectful.
Moshe replaced my mailbox that was destroyed by a snowplow. He was very professional and courteous and did the work quickly despite the weather. Will definitely use him again and highly recommend him.
