I can't recommend Cody enough; the teaching that he's given (even in our few short lessons!) has been incredibly helpful in furthering my cello abilities - y'know, beginner though they may be! I very much enjoy my lessons with him; if you're here and you're looking, trust me: book him. He's excellent!

Jordan teaches our 8 year-old son weekly cello lessons, and we have been so impressed! He has a kind and respectful demeanor with our child and established an easy rapport with him. He models tremendous respect for the discipline of caring for and playing the cello, while also engaging with our child with a great sense of humor, playfulness, and encouragement. Jordan's teaching style is individualized to the child and builds upon growing abilities week-to-week. The pace has been really good--allowing for both a feeling of accomplishment as well as the enjoyment of the challenge to expand one's playing and understanding of the instrument. Jordan is an excellent teacher and wonderful person, and we would highly recommend him!

    About

I have been involved in music all my life from choir to orchestra to musicals and everything in between. My cello, which I have played for 12 years, has taken me overseas with a youth orchestra based in Pittsburgh for two European tours. I have also been in multiple school and honors choirs since the 4th grade, and my voice also earned me a partial vocal scholarship for my short college experience. I also studied music theory and history in both high school and college. I even tested out of my first year courses and went straight to sophomore classes in those subjects. I have had years of experience with one-on-one teaching as a tutor in many school subjects, including music. I feel that my love of music is easily projected to others and makes me a perfect candidate to help others who share my passion.
