Lee M. says, "We had AMK install a gas line to our stove. It was about 59ft of new 3/4 inch pipe, replacing a flex pipe to our boiler, and thorough tested the install. They planned for adding more to the system with capped off T-pipe incase we needed. Since we have LP gas, the original estimate was higher with the intent to increase the pipes dimensions and regulator into the house. Because of that they had given me a higher estimate… and we scheduled the install. The day before the install, they called me to tell me, after further research and running the math… the extra work to install the regulator and thicker pipe was not needed and the estimate dropped considerably lower. This showed there character and honesty. Our stove was delayed by a day… so they said to call them and they will help me install the stove since it was not there already. They came the next day, clearly after working another job, to cary in my 225 lb stove, carry out the old electric stove, and make sure everything worked properly. I have worked with many different companies/contractors over the years… it is truly wonderful to find honest, hard working, professionals who take pride in there work, under promise and over deliver, while staying super friendly and accommodating. I have another bigger job to install radiant heat piping under the subfloor in the basemen. I am taking no other bids, only working with AMK. I don’t write review, but I hope this helps those looking for hard to find great people."See more
