Fantastic musicians- My husband and I hired them for our wedding last weekend. The hubs is a musician, and had a lot of ideas of things to play. Louis agreed to everything, and had a killer performance. Hire the trio, they are amazing!
Elegance Quartet was a wonderful choice for our wedding! Ray was a pleasure to work with- quick to respond and offer advice. We had a string trio for our wedding on 8/12/17 for our ceremony and cocktail hour and their music was beautiful! I wish I could have heard more and had time to enjoy it! Thanks for adding something special to our day!
Deb is a very energetic teacher and is great to work with! I have been taking piano lessons (beginner level) with her for almost two months and it has been a really wonderful experience. Every lesson, we review what we discussed the previous week and move on to new material. Deb has been very good about giving me exercises and pieces to work on in between sessions. This has been very helpful and has helped me improve in the short time I've been taking lessons with her. I would highly recommend Deb as a piano teacher. She is also a very talented violinist!!!
Tara Smith has taught, inspired, & coached my 20 & 21 year old children since they were in 2nd grade. She cares about all her students as whole people. Tara brought Walter & Cheyenne to concerts, helped them get scholarships, gigs, into great music camps & most importantly, to gain confidence & proficiency as a cellist and violinist as soloists, quartet players & orchestra members. Tara Smith is a brilliant instructor & mentor who finds new & creative ways for her students to explore & share a wide variety of music. She is the teacher you’ve been hoping for.
I'm actually a music teacher and a composer, but had never learned how to play any bowed string instruments as much as I love Classical music. I was referred to Tamara by a friend who's child had been studying violin with her. They told me she was just fantastic with children, and incredibly patient. I didn't know how she would be with adults, but she is incredible! She's so knowledgeable, I feel like I've really advanced in a short amount of time and have a much deeper understanding of all the bowed string instruments. I highly recommend her as somebody great with children and adults!
It was a dream for us to have a string quartet play at our wedding...so when we started watching clips on IconiQ String Quartet's YouTube channel, we were so excited. Then, after connecting with Bobbie, we were delighted by his professionalism and their gracious (and affordable) services! We shared our list of songs we knew we wanted, and Bobbie made great recommendations on some others. Bobbie was so responsive and helpful; we felt we were in very trusting hands. And so then our wedding day was a dream...they showed up on time, dressed appropriately, and literally fulfilled our dreams, playing everything we discussed with precision, emotion, and class. IconiQ set the tone for our ceremony and cocktail hour, filling the air with romance and beauty. It was the perfect addition to our perfect day...they were one of the best investments we made. We couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience...we highy recommend IconiQ!!
There are many talented guitarists, but there are few that are both talented and top-notch teachers like Adam. Adam is a patient instructor, knowledgable, and willing to design lessons to your musical interests. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Adam, and highly recommend him to anyone seeking lessons at any level.
When I first started taking lessons with David Joel I just wanted to be a guitar player. I never had any intention of playing in a band or even in front of anyone for that matter. In the beginning I progressed with my playing very slowly, but David was patient and continued to encourage me and push me to get better. When i entered high school i was still a novice, but despite that I was offered a chance to play guitar for the school's jazz band. David held my hand every step of the way and helped me become an important part of the rhythm section. Soon I started playing guitar for the schools orchestra and string ensemble taking on more musical challenges. I am now going to attend college to pursue a life of music and get a teaching degree, and none of this would have been possible without the help of David Joel.
Carly is a complete joy to work with and there truly cannot be enough said about Willow Brook Strings' talent!! They recently played for my wedding ceremony and were the perfect compliment to our outdoor venue and special day! Not being well versed in classical music myself, Carly was quick to help me pick song selections for the procession/recession and provided samples to ease the process. I would suggest these women for anyone looking to add a musical vendor with grace, beauty and professionalism to their event!
We fell in love with Dan from the get-go when we saw how great he was with Nolan and his vast knowledge and love of music. We are so impressed with how far Nolan has come with his Ukulele skills and ability to place his fingers on the strings for specific cords. Mr. Dan makes it all about the children. What is your kid into? Minecraft? Mr. Dan can make sheet music for it. Disney? Mr. Dan can make sheet music for it. Mr. Dan places the kids needs/wants first. Whatever it is that will get a child interested in picking up an instrument, Mr. Dan will do. One word to describe Mr. Dan is: Awesome. Okay a few more words: Patient, funny, down to earth, able to communicate with and engage children easily. One of the many reasons Mr. Dan is just so awesome: He comes to our house! I cannot stress enough how much of a help this is with having to drive the kids all over God’s green earth every day of the week. We are truly blessed to have this amazing music teacher in our lives. We look forward to many years of having Mr. Dan teach Nolan.
Brian and the ensemble were fabulous! My groom and I both requested original arrangements for our walks down the aisle, and they happily accommodated us. Although we were taking photos during much of their playing, guests continued to approach us throughout the evening to share how much they had enjoyed the quartet. Great experience!

Its all about the angle a approach guitar teaching from. I was fortunate to go to The University of the Arts to study Jazz Performance, but before that, I taught myself by ear alone. As a result, I can teach using parts from both worlds and styles of learning.
