I knew nothing about music except that I loved listening to it since I can remember, Upon my retirement from education and at the encouragement of my 7 year old grandson who was taking guitar lessons, I also began guitar lessons with Eric. In the few months that I have been his student, Eric has demonstrated his superior knowledge of music, outstanding ability to teach using a variety of methods as well as much patience. I highly recommend Eric as a teacher to anyone wanting to learn about music and how to play guitar.

These are guitar lessons and I've only had my first one. As first lessons go, this went well, though I have no other experiences to compare it with. This is a premature question and in no way reflects any overall opinion of Twin Rivers music.

Really happy with my experience with Richards Guitar Studio. Nate was very accommodating, answering my questions and setting me up with right instructor. My instructor Eric is very easy to work with. Their Guitar Mastery program is a great way to learn and something that I don't think you can find anywhere else.

While we have only been attending for about two months, my son has loved his piano lessons. He is eager to go each week and practices daily!! Rosalind has been flexible with our changing summer schedule. My son has learned so much in such a short time.

I have been taking guitar lessons from David Joel for about a year and a half. I started taking lessons at 64yrs.old because I always wanted to play guitar. When I was researching teachers, I was looking for certain qualities in a teacher and when I saw David Joel’s background which includes a Master’s Degree in Music, a former faculty member at Berklee College and his playing background I decided to give him a try. David is very methodical teacher and as a beginner he teaches you the proper way to play guitar as well as reading music, practice techniques and addresses individual goals of each student. I would highly recommend David as he is in my opinion the top teacher in the area. Charlie L.

I am nearing retirement and have never played an instrument. Art has been able to teach me some basic cords and in a few weeks I have been able to play a few songs. He has been a good match for starting guitar.

I am a busy business owner with limited time to explore my creative side. Knowing this, I wanted to take up acoustic guitar lessons, but needed to connect with someone with the right balance of push and patience. I was fortunate to find Paul. He is very passionate about music, and that comes through in our lessons. I'm learning, having fun, and through Paul have found a new outlet for my creative side. Thank you Paul!

I appreciate that Dan has the flexibility and commitment to take me on as a student. It's easier for me to commit when he can do home-visits for lessons. I'm a beginner and he provides an appropriate level of guidance to push me to learn and prompt me to think "who I want to be" when playing guitar (style, future goals, etc). Seeing progress motivates me to keep practicing and trusting the process!

My teenage son has been enjoying Danton's classical guitar teaching for the past two years. In this time, he has greatly matured in his playing skills and understanding of music theory. Danton challenges his students in creative and fun ways, making lessons a pleasure. He includes the student in selecting music, being sure to advance the student's skill level without overwhelm the student. He is professional, engaging, and friendly. Additionally, his ability to come to my home for lessons saves me time each week. Certainly, he is a very talented musician whom I eagerly recommend for all styles of piano or guitar instruction.

I had just started guitar and was clueless about how to begin learning as an adult. Max was a great teacher, offering advice on everything from how to tune the guitar to playing chord progressions. Before the lessons, Max asked me to send him some songs I wanted to learn; Max learned them and used them as a framework for the lessons, making the instruction practical and fun. Moreover, whenever a music theory concept came up, he explained it in an intuitive way, which I really appreciated. The environment was constructive and relaxed, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to guitar.

As a young guitarist, Ben was extremely patient with me in picking up new material. He took his time in ensuring my understanding of whatever we worked on. Ben allowed his lessons to be fun rather than all work, which was helpful for me as I was a younger student of his. With that being said he was excellent at pushing and encouraging me to get the most out of the experience. Ben was far and away the best instructor I ever worked with.

About

With more than 25 years teaching experience, I am also a professional musician and singer/songwriter. I offer 1/2 hour ($22) and full hour ($40). Lessons include reading music, music theory, music history, and where applicable include instruction on voice and song composition. I am work with beginner through advanced students of all ages, and am skilled at uncovering and correcting bad habits and expanding students' knowledge of music beyond simply the instruction of their chosen instrument. I appreciate the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, and teach all ages. It is especially rewarding to see children gain confidence and the ability for students to express themselves through music. Sharing my own passion for music by introducing students to a more immersive experience of music and music history across genres is not only personally rewarding but a unique aspect to my teaching style.
