Hello! My name is Amy, and I am a nationally certified school psychologist, chairperson of special education, and highly experienced professional tutor.
I live in Pooler, and have an office in my complex where I will meet tutoring clients which is centrally located in Pooler in the Godley Station area. I typically do editing projects over the Internet. My schedule tends to fill up fast, so contact me soon for any upcoming needs!
My teaching style is very kind, calm, and patient. Because of the fact that I am a school psychologist, I totally understand and sympathize with learning difficulties. I have many different strategies I use. I never use a cookie-cutter approach. My tutoring is tailored specifically to my clients' individual needs, education/special-education needs, and learning style. I am very patient, and I have been told many times that I am able to explain very complex concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
I love to work with students of all ages, and that shows in my always positive demeanor and excitement to help. Your success or your child's success is my success, so I am very personally invested in providing the highest level of services. I believe when people can overcome difficulties, it really builds their self-esteem and belief in themselves which is so important. I am very supportive and encouraging. I am also very compassionate and emphatic. In my spare time, my life is consumed with animal rescue.
I love working with animals and with people. It is my life's mission to make a difference. I am also very highly educated, having studied a top-level school in my field and oversees. I am bilingual, speaking French and English. I would love to work with you or with your child, take the stress of learning away, and turn the educational experience into a very positive one filled with success.
I have 18 years of experience in psychology, special education, and social services and have completed nine years of college and graduate school with several honors including nearly a 4.0 GPA in both programs. I was one of only two students accepted into my graduate program the year of my acceptance. I am a nationally certified school psychologist who specializes in students with disabilities and behavioral and academic difficulties. I also serve as the chairperson of special education. As a tutor, I specialize in working with school-aged students on learning, study skills, and organization.
I can also provide consultation to parents for behavior management as part of this since I am a behavioral specialist. I work with a lot of college and graduate students, especially in the area of writing and research. I have exceptional writing and editing skills, as I write extensive scientific reports daily in my work as a psychologist and have done a lot of research. I can help you write a very strong paper or help you complete research with the utmost quality. I also offer editing on projects of all kinds
I help with a lot of college- and graduate-level projects and papers and guarantee a high grade! I also provide a lot of study assistance for college and graduate students. I specifically tutor in any psychology, social work, writing/English, or science classes, but I also work with people on studying, study skills, test preparation, and organization.
I have a long track record of successful tutoring and can provide strong references. As a result of my tutoring services, my students have all found a high level of success in school that they did not think was possible. I can't wait to help you or your child!
