"My 9 year old son has been taking piano lessons with Brian for two months and it is amazing to see the progress he has made for this short time. It's a pure pleasure for me as a parent to witness the special interaction between the student and his teacher. Brian has a very unique approach towards his students. His teaching and guidance is communicated in a simple and understandable way for a child to relate to and understand. Every week my son is very excited to come to class and share what he has learned. I highly recommend Bryan as he has been a wonderful teacher so far for us!!!"

"My daughter has taken piano lessons from Linda for over 6 years. She is an excellent teacher, pushes just the right amount, and is a genuinely good person. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for a student at any level."

"I found Dan through Thumbtack several months ago. I grew up playing the trumpet (elementary school thru high school) and taught myself how to play the piano in middle school. The piano never stuck with all of my other commitments at the time and I let it go after about a year. I'm now 31 years old and back at it. With that said, I came to Dan able to read music and with some basic music theory. Dan started by asking what my goals were and his philosophy on teaching. We matched perfectly - I wanted to play cocktail music/jazz standards and entertain friends/family at Christmas (no classical concert pianist here) and Dan is an accomplished jazz player with a knack for taking the skeleton of a song and making it his own. Dan started me on my scales/chords and I quickly learned how important they were to the foundation of songs and being able to improvise. Dan is always on time, always prepared and always ensures that you know what you need to work on for your next lesson. Dan is an excellent teacher who is extremely knowledgeable. Also important to note, his "studio" (house) is always clean and you will always feel comfortable. I'm now beginning to play off of lead sheets and making great progress in improvising on songs. I highly recommend Dan for piano lessons - he will take your playing to another level!"

"We were looking for a piano teacher and found a full music teacher. Mr. James makes each lesson fun and filled with musical knowledge and progression. My boys have never been so excited about music and even practicing."

"Jordan is a great teacher who enthusiastically meets you where you are and builds from there. As an adult student, it's hard for me to remember sometimes that a lesson is just a lesson and not a performance for the teacher. Jordan is great at keeping the focus on building skills and not just pointing out mistakes. He took away my fear of starting piano lessons at 37 years old and helped me gain skills I never would have going about it on my own."

"The experience was rewarding! A super comfortable, welcoming, and nurturing environment. The time with Dean allowed me to express myself, focus on goals and growth, address suppressed feelings, and explore ways to combat existing issues. Dean was extremely open, understanding, encouraging, and helpful! I left feeling light and renewed---I am so grateful and excited for the next session!"

"Tim is an unbelievably talented professional musician who can listen to a song and help you learn it , almost instantaneously. If you are looking for a gentle soul with a good heart who really cares about sharing a passion for music, make sure you reach out and contact Tim. Classically trained, but able to play anything, Tim will be able to help you learn at your own speed and teach you shortcuts to get you playing a lot sooner than you thought. Tim is special- a good teacher, gifted musician, and a nice person. A rare combination. I highly recommend Tim and suggest you check him out to become your next piano teacher as well."
