Mr. Law Larson what an incredible trainer he is. Mr. Larson understands what it means to listen and take on your goals as his. He comes in to each session with a goal in mind and motivates you to complete each exercise and goes at your pace. He has transformed my body by building muscle while cutting fat and gaining weight, all at the same time. If there were more stars to give I would. If you are looking to challenge yourself physically he is the trainer for you. If your looking to loose weight he is the person to see. If you want to gain strength and muscles he is the personal trainer for you. I would recommend him now and in the future to anyone who is looking for one. He is very versatile in his dynamics and training sessions. He has helped me set goals and we met and exceeded these goals in 12 sessions. He is a great trainer and person.
I have been working with Ethan for a little over a year and a half. I came to him initially just wanting to get in better shape, and expected him to give me workouts to complete and that would be about the extent of our trainer-client relationship. Ethan really surprised me by not only listening to what goals I had, but creating custom workouts on a weekly basis to help me target the areas I wanted to work on and truly pushing me past what I even dreamed I was capable of. He is not the stereotypical trainer that uses fear tactics or follows fads to train his clients - he is educated in his profession and specialty, and uses his evidence-based knowledge to help people achieve their goals the right way. He taught me about each exercise, why he was incorporating them into my training regimen, and how they would help me reach my fitness goals. He has taken extra time to help me understand nutrition better and the importance of incorporating the proper amount of macros into my diet to elevate my athletic performance and improve my physique. I have been able to decrease my body fat from 18% to 15%, increase my push-ups from 25 in a row to 49, squat 190 lb and bench my body weight at 125lb. I’ve been working out with Heydi for about a year now. I couldn’t be more pleased! Heydi is all you could ever ask for in a personal trainer. She is professional, knowledgeable, motivational and FUN! Not only does she have great knowledge of fitness, but also in nutrition. She listens to you and what your goals are and pushes you to make them. She CARES. She answers any questions you may have and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find it and follow up with you. You get the maximum benefit of your time with her because she is constantly changing the routine to make sure you get the maximum benefit of your workout. I haven’t been bored once! I always look forward to my sessions with her. Her workouts are TOUGH, but Heydi has a knack for sensing when you’re struggling and manages to get you to push through with a smile on your face. Heydi is constantly broadening her knowledge in her craft through personal study and attending workshops. On top of all this, Heydi is a GOOD person! She meets the challenge of balancing work and family beautifully.
James is really truly a great trainer. He pushes you and gets you results. he has helped me reach my goals the right way. His workouts are individual base and keeps me on my toes! Having James as my trainer was the best decision I have made!
I have been working with Jim for almost a year. It sounds cliche to say he has changed my life, but I don't have a better way to summarize it. Although the certificates say "personal trainer," Jim is a true coach whose professional knowledge coupled with his personal approach to holistic wellness (mind, body and spirit) have given me a body and an outlook that I never dreamed possible. I am 45 years old and was a size 10 when I started with Cutting Edge. I wasn't really looking for a transformation, just a good workout. I was hiring a trainer because I wanted to work out with intensity and consistently. When I started to lose weight (and I had plenty to lose), I told Jim I didn't want to be skinny; I want to be solid. At less than 5 feet tall, I need to feel like I can stand my ground. It took me a long time to trust him and trust that I could lose weight and still feel safe. But he earned my trust. Now, I am a size 0 and totally unafraid. I am strong AND I wear a bikini (a combination I never thought possible!) The results have been way behind anything I could have imagined for myself, not just physically, but emotionally too. I can't wait to see what is next! Jim has the exercise and nutrition thing down to a very exact science. He is boundlessly knowledgable and keeps abreast of the latest research. But there's more to it. His "all in" approach inspires me to dig deep, to reflect, to set goals, to keep track, to figure out why, to understand myself and my behavior in order to make change and build real, lasting strength...the kind that comes from deep inside. Although he has many clients, you always feel like you are the only one. He has on many, many occasions written me personalized workouts that I can do at work, at hotels, on vacation. He is incredibly available via email, too. Whether I am confused or just having a moment of weakness, Jim responds thoroughly and thoughtfully with unconditional support. He is an endless fountain of positive energy and useful information and I have yet to ask him a question he can't answer. The fact that Jim is without question an expert in his field matters beyond his ability to answer my questions though. I trust him to keep me safe in the gym. Lifting weights without a professional who chooses the right weight, watches carefully, and stays protectively close is dangerous. Thanks to Jim's knowledge, experience and diligence, I lift heavy weights to the point of fatigue and have remained injury free despite my age and my size. He really is right there with every rep. But finding the right trainer goes beyond making sure they are highly qualified. The relationship is equally important. I succeed in large part because I want to make Jim proud. I wonder what he would think about what I am about to eat (or drink) before I put it in my mouth. If he expects me to run before our next session, or writes "homework" workouts for me for the weekend, I can't wait to do them. If he hands me a weight I don't think I can handle, I suddenly want to be able to lift it so badly. If I think I'm done and he says he needs more from me, I find more. He pushes me with such intensity that I've come to realize that I had (and still have) no idea what I am capable of...but he does and he won't let me settle for anything less. And yet, as tough as he is on the gym floor, I have met few people in my life who have a heart half as big as Jim's. He is kind, and true, and gentle, and caring. And knowing him has enriched my life beyond measure. I feel very lucky to have Jim in my corner.
Sarah is awesome! I love that we can work outside of the constraints of a gym. If it's a beautiful day, we can enjoy the outdoors and sunshine. If it's rainy or gross out, I get to work out from the comfort of my home. That, combined with a personalized trainer who cares about you reaching your fitness goals is pretty hard to find. That said, I have no reason to ever work out with anyone else! Why would you?
Being this was the first time I hired a personal fitness trainer I didn't know what to expect. I felt really good about Hunter because he had such a broad spectrum of experience. He really knew how to communicate with me in a way that I understood what I needed to do. I haven't done anything in the way of exercise since I graduated from high school and the whole idea of it really intimidated me. Andrew is an outstanding trainer! He was unlike any other personal trainer I've worked with in the past. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish and then custom developed a plan to get me there. He was tough but encouraging and held me accountable to the plan we developed. His workout space is professional and clean and I would recommend Andrew to anyone at any fitness level!
I started training with Shana in February I was doing 2 days a week and recently went to 3 days a week. Shana far exceeds my expectations every time. She is dedicated to you and will push you in ways that are encouraging. I have lost weight as well as inches. I have lost a total of 5 inches in only 8 weeks. If you are making excuses as to why you cannot afford a personal trainer STOP! Invest in yourself instead of that coffee at Starbucks or eating out or even buying alcohol. If you change one thing in your life you can afford it and return you will love your results. I have had trainers in the past but none like Shana, she cares about you and your health! Erich is an amazing knowledgeable trainer. In May 2017 I had a fall resulting in brain surgery. This left me with disabilities which restricted my moments and caused weight gain. Erich’s background of doing Rehab in the Navy plus his several years of personal training made him and amazing fit for me. He helped me with my muscle movement and to loose 20 Lbs in a couple months. Even though we have moved far away he continuies to keep in touch and give pointers to ensure I am staying on the right track. He is a personal trainer who cares about you and your end results. I highly recommend him for anyone who wants a trainer who knows how to train no matter your body type or level of experience.
Matt is a FANTASTIC trainer! I lost 15 pounds training with Matt! He truly wants to help you reach your goals. Matt helped me understand that nutrition is the key to weight loss results and he also helped me see that it can be much easier to eat healthy when you take a long term health approach diet. His training is extremely specific and precise. He has a plan at all times that is catered to your abilities. In our workouts we focused on strength and what he called "muscle building cardio". He's truly an expert on exercise and making the goal of the exercise or circuit clear. The workouts were REALLY tough, but we pushed through every workout and it was worth it. I would recommend Matt to anyone that's looking for a personal trainer. He's always extremely professional and just a really nice guy to be around. Definitely a 5 star trainer!
I highly recommend Daniel as a personal trainer! I've been working with him for about eight months and have been in the best shape of my life. I also experienced the most strength gains from our weightlifting training. He was also very adept at teaching me proper form and showing me how I can create an entire program to achieve all my goals. When I first started working with him, I was a bit intimidated of the gym. Now I know the lingo and can talk with the best of them about super sets, drop sets, macros, CLA, etc. I'm so proud of the work we've done together! During our work together, Daniel emphasized the importance of nutrition in achieving goals. He also saw that as motivated as I could be, I still struggled with my sweet tooth. He told me a lot of his clients had those same struggles and it led him to become certified in an online nutrition habits program. During the last month I've been able to sample the new program and it's very exciting. Each week focuses on a new nutrition habit so that you are bringing about slow, long lasting change. It's exciting and I think it will help me with my long term goals of becoming a healthier person inside and out. Daniel is punctual, flexible, motivating, and passionate about what he does. He truly cares about his clients and I"m so thankful for the experience. Do not hesitate for a minute. Work with Daniel and you'll be on the road to achieving your goals!

Megan has been my personal trainer for over 3 years now! I sought out a trainer in March 2014 when I moved to Nashville and wanted to get in shape for my sisters wedding. At the time she was working at a gym in my neighborhood where I was paired with her. I immediately felt comfortable with her, and she tailored each workout to my goals. After my sisters wedding, I kept working with her. She got me in shape for my own wedding a year later. That was almost 2 years ago now and I still see her. As my goals shifted so did our workouts. She is kind and inspiring. Incredibly smart and hardworking. I had worked with many other personal trainers when I lived in Los Angeles and Megan is by far the best I have ever had. I never get bored and she is a pleasure to talk to. I would recommend her to anyone!!

In a personal trainer I was searching for a cross between Jillian Micheals and Bob Harper, I was lucky to that with Knox Pilkerton. Knox is passionate about health and fitness, he's committed to making sure his clients reach their fitness goals. He reminds me each session that 80% of reaching my weight loss goals is attributed to what I choose to consume daily. He has a wealth of knowledge about fitness and nutrition and he's always happy to share meaningful tips and ideas with his clients.
