I wanted voice lessons as I have been playing guitar for 11 years but my voice sounded like a tractor. I will admit, I was extremely nervous about my lack of ability to sing, but after meeting with Kameri the first time, she made me feel very relaxed and excited to learn. She does a great job starting of teaching and has deep knowledge of music, and at the same time, made me feel warm and confident in myself. I'm no Luke Bryan but I have come a long way work with Kameri. Highly recommend.
My 11 year old daughter has taken weekly lessons via FaceTime with David Parker for the last 12 months. She has progressed a lot and looks forward to each new lesson. She plays in our church band and has improved a lot over the past year. She started out playing acoustic only but has picked up electric guitar as well over the last 7 months. David has been great at teaching her both types of guitar. He is very good at asking her what type of music she likes to play, and then uses his lessons and drills to get her to play challenging songs that she likes. I would reccommend David to anyone looking for lessons whether beginner, intermediate, or expert and in person or online.
My daughter just had her first guitar lesson with Heidi and it was WONDERFUL!! I would highly recommend her!!!!
Taking lessons at La Vergne Smyra Guitar Lessons is the wisest choice you could make. Not only is Grant a great teacher, he is also a great guy who cares about seeing his students succeed and is 100% committed in doing so! If you're looking for the best, you can stop your search here.
Patrick was a very patient and great guitar instructor for my son who just started learning this last year. He was very flexible and had many activities for him to complete during the lessons to keep him engaged. I highly recommend him!
Very knowledgeable teacher, takes the extra time to ensure you understand the lessons. Great experience so far.
She will care for and about you, but she will not coddle you. She will compliment you without bias and for constructive purposes, but she will criticize you the same way. She will push and (as she puts it) "nag" you, but she will also make you laugh and put you at complete ease. Hire her if you want a knowledgeable, professional, passionate, and very honest teacher who wants to improve your skills for life. Stay away if you simply want ego boosts and quick fixes. 10/10 so far and loving it. -Jason D.

I have been giving lessons for the past 4 years. I have taught all ages, from 6 all the way up to 40. I have a great understanding of music theory and teach what is desired as opposed to what is "required". I have experience playing in many different genres and styles.
I teach guitar and bass lessons to all ages and skill levels. I have 10 years of experience as a full-time music instructor. I focus on teaching music theory as it pertains to the guitar family. I look forward to hearing from you!
I play guitar, and I'm trying to help beginners learn the basics! I've been playing for four or five years, and I am taking my playing to the next level!
I make it my mission to gear a lesson program toward material in which the student is truly interested. I know many instructors who are quick to grab the most common method book off the shelf and started hammering out concepts. While I believe in a comprehensive education, it all starts with having fun and learning what you like to hear. After all, that's why I picked up guitar in the first place.
I have developed several teaching strategies to address issues such as young child students, beginners, advanced students, and I am schooled in a wide variety of styles. I can also teach music theory due to my classical training in college. I tailor each lesson according to the individual students abilities and interests.
I can teach the basics, as well as some intermediate/advanced techniques. My influences include Opeth, Mastodon, Goon Moon, Nick Drake, and many others.
We offer: * Bass lessons * Guitar lessons We are connecting beginner musicians to play in a real band. Don't say it's too expensive! I can work with parents that are on a budget, but don't want to wait any longer to get their kids into a hobby or skill that will last them a lifetime. I am very flexible, and I can teach from my house, your house, or use Skype (the best of both worlds). I have been playing for 15 years, and have lots too offer, including lessons on advanced technique and live playing.
I make it personal, because that's how it should be.
I give person-sensitive lessonsa fancy way of saying I plan my lessons according to each, individual person. I enjoy passing on what I have learned by experience, books, professional instructors, and look forward to allowing people to understand all about music in order for them to express themselves the way they truly like.
