About

What went well: Terry came out to measure, we talked for a while, he's a very nice guy. His crew came out on a Monday and were done by Tuesday. Beautiful fence! They removed and hauled away the old fence which was no easy feat because there were vines and shrubs intertwined in it. What could have been better: I appreciated Terry coming out to measure, but he wasn't there the day the work began, nor did he come out the day they finished to check the work or to see if we liked it. Not much follow up. I'm not sure if the workers made an executive decision to put a tree directly in the middle of the fence (flush to both sides of the tree) but I would have liked someone to ask me what I preferred. I would have rather had the tree on the inside or outside of the fence, not PART of the fence. because what happens when the tree grows? Those are only minor issues though. All in all, I would recommend! Thank you Terry!

Joe just completed an extensive remodel on our kitchen, master bath, guest bath, and fireplace. He did an excellent job on all of it... We are thrilled with the overall look and quality of work and have been recommending his company to all of our friends and neighbors who are considering remodeling. My family and I were out of town for 75% of the project but felt confident with this arrangement based on the meetings we had prior to the project start date. He really seemed to understand the look we were going for and pulled all the right samples (counters, tile, wood, paint, faucets, etc). Joe is really professional - he shows up on time, does what he says he's going to do, and is focused on making his clients happy. He also stays on budget. We will definitely use him again when we are ready to have our last bathroom remodeled.

Tim did a nearly full remodel on my condo, updating it from the 1970's to a modern look and feel. His work included demolition, restructuring/reframing areas, dry wall, countertops, installation of a washer/dryer (plumbing and venting of it), updating of all plumbing fixtures in bathrooms and kitchen, and a ton of electrical work as well. He is a great carpenter and also very well-rounded as a maintenance guy, knowing how to do plumbing and electric repairs. Although I had to manage the project (he is not a general contractor) and our timeline got a bit behind, Tim got the work done with good results. The place looks beautiful and truly feels like a modern condo. We love it. My only criticism is the project would have gone more smoothly with better communication regarding timeline, expense and expectations. The project was massive and got a bit out of hand. I would have liked a more detailed, discussed and methodical approach to such a project. But I can't complain too much - it gone done and at a fair price. I would recommend to anyone seeking one-off repairs or needing a skilled carpenter for remodeling projects. Tim's great at what he does, very knowledgeable about all things constructioney, and a very nice guy. Thanks Tim!!

Bob Slaughter was initially introduced to me through a decorator. She had used him numerous times on other projects and thought he would be a good fit for my husband and I. We were in the middle of a master bath renovation and the original carpenter had not finished the job. My concern was that nobody except the carpenter who had started could finish the detailed and advanced cabinetry for which no written plans existed and were in the original carpenter head. Bob was exceptional!!! He exceeded our expectations. His carpentry is his art. It was flawless. His work was impeccable. He always arrived on time. When he was building in his workshop he would be specific and let me know when he what day he would arrive to our home. He was patient and listened to all of our concerns. He worked with his son whose craft is as polished as his fathers. They were respectful in our home. The experience was outstanding in every regard. I would highly recommend Bob Slaughter.

About

I have never had a better experience than I had today with Marcus and his assistant, Spencer, when they replaced my 3 solid doors for the 3 French doors I had special ordered from Lowe's. They were the most courteous, kind, and respectful workers I have hired and dealt with in a long time. Marcus' attention to detail, his work attitude, and the obvious pride he shows in his work, is so refreshing. At the end of the job, I felt like I underpaid for the quality of work I received. Marcus definitely knows his stuff when it comes to hanging doors. He appropriately calls himself "The Door Nerd." haha. He and Spencer worked very efficiently, and it was also apparent that they work well together. They were able to complete the job in record time....about 4 hrs. His prices are also "beyond reasonable," considering the quality of workmanship and knowledge he brings to the table, and his kind, courteous, and unassuming personality. What a gentleman! I will not hesitate to recommend Marcus to my friends and neighbors. I also know who I'll be calling when I'm ready to replace my front door, and also my solid pantry doors with glass doors. :-)

We hired Confianza to expand and stain our existing patio and install a brick walkway from our backyard to the front of our house. Mauro was on time, courteous and communicated openly with us throughout the process. He listened to what we wanted from the project and provided a fair estimate for the work.

Outstanding work with an outstanding attitude. These guys are definitely a few levels above most. They framed and trimmed my house - this wasn’t a small job. During that process they did three things that I appreciate. 1. They pointed out and fixed design issues I'd over looked. 2. They took time to explain things, and 3. They had excellent advice when asked. The other thing about Levi and crew is they have integrity. They are honest and good people. Time and time again they proved that. Levi has the ability to fix huge problems in a few minutes. I’ve been amazed on several occasions. I had the unique opportunity to directly compare their work to another successful framer. I was in charge of building two houses. The first I built with a different sub contractor and the second I used Levi. No comparison. Mahoney Craftsmen did a much better job in every respect. These guys are busy. Despite this, Levi always answers my calls and he made great effort to complete the job in a timely manor. To sum things up - I plan on using them for every project.

Elliot built our family a triple, wall mounted bunk bed system for our boys room. He was quick to contact us and draft an estimate based on our budget. He was professional and finished the job more quickly than we had anticipated. We were very pleased with the overall experience we had with Willbuilt (Elliot). We've already contacted him for another job as well!

Richard was amazing to work with. Very professional, listened to what we wanted and on time. We remodeled our master bathroom with two custom cabinets on each side, featuring drawers and slide outs galore! Granite countertops and soft close hinges add to the overall quality. This guy is a great craftsman and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend or hire him again! In fact, I'm already making a list of things for Richard to build and remodel more things now that the bathroom turned out so awesome!

Hello there! This is a very small project--I have two ready-made shelving units that did not come with backing, and I just need them backed with hardboard or other thin composite material. One unit is 185cm x 185cm and the other is 149cm x 79cm--the smaller unit is functioning as a media center and will therefore need two half-circles cut into the backing to hide wires. Ideally, I could quickly paint the backing before it is installed so that I don't have to spend the time taping off and painting 30+ shelves. Any takers?
