We needed last minute help on moving a treadmill to our upstairs, and they were quick to respond and quoted us fairly! Some wanted to double charge us just for moving a treadmill. Movers called to set appointment -told them I wanted 3 movers at $90 per hour plus trip fee. Three grown men showed up EVERYTHING was either in the garage, living room area or bedrooms upstairs - beds were already broken down. See pictures attached - (when they came I had not wrapped the wardrobes and dressers but I was going to do it while they moved other stuff out - the ONLY thing not pictures is one more bed and about 6 dining chairs that were behind the some items) Initially one guy told me the move should take 3-5 hours. Then another guy told me "Miss it takes time" and that the move would be 5+ hours- maybe even 6 or 7 hours. Then I told them to let me pay for 4 hours - two hours to load and two hours to unload and whatever we could not move in that time that I would figure out how to get it moved. - The guy told me that with 4 hours - they could only move my bedroom (queen bed, dresser, chest of drawers, makeup table and wardrobe) with THREE MEN. I told them at $90 per hour (effectively $100 per hour with the $35 per trip added) that it was only fair to give me a more concrete estimate of time instead of 3-5 or 5+ or 6,7 hours - but they would not. Finally they told me that they could not do the move. I had to hire another set of movers (PERFECT FINISH TRANSPORTATION AND RELOCATIONS) who actually moved EVERYTHING below in 3 hours with 3 men and a younger man that semi-assisted. Nothing damaged - VERY EFFICIENT and PROFESSIONAL. Please know what it takes to move your items so that you wont be overcharged which is what Castle Movers TRIED to do to me. UPDATE The response it NOT TRUE - if you look at the pictures you will see that I was prepared for the move other than the wardrobes needing to be wrapped - I did not mistreat or curse anyone - I just wanted a more concrete estimate - you cannot say 3-5 hours and then say it could take up to 7 hours. I could PAY for the move - I could AFFORD more than $300. I am an accountant. You cannot give a range of $300-$700 for a move - it needs to be more concrete - I have moved several times and I move all of my items to one or two areas because I know that it takes time to go all over the house and although I CAN pay for more than 3 hours - I KNOW from prior experience that it does NOT take more than three (4 hours max) to move what I have.. NO WAY it should take 7 hours with 3 people - no way... I move all of my own clothes, boxes etc. I only hire movers for my large items (beds, dressers, shelves, washer dryer sofas etc) and I never had this problem before. The company that finally moved me - did so IN THE RAIN in 3 hours and I paid them their fee PLUS a tip.

Corey and his crew were excellent. He was able to complete our move on a very short timeline as we had to be out of our storage unit by the end of the month. The crew showed up on time and was able to move a 10x15 storage unit into a 2 story home in 2 1/2 hours. I would recommend this company to anyone and if we ever move again we will certainly use them again.

The guys from Castle Movers worked really hard and long. The move took a few more hours and a few hundred dollars than originally budgeted; however, I was too tired from all the pre-packing so I paid "willingly. Still, I would recommend this company.

My experience with Castle Movers did not add up to my expectation or the reviews I read. We have used movers before, but this was not the best experience. I booked them from my move based on ratings/comments on this site and one other. I talked with Romero weeks prior to my move to make sure they had availability, also to discuss what my move would look like. I shared with him my big items and an estimate number of boxes (around 50 or less). We discussed a 26' truck with 3 men and around 4-5 hours. We agreed on the cost per hour. On the day of the move, that's what arrived. The 3 guys were pleasant. The "lead guy" (a name isn't necessary) introduced himself and began to walk through the house to see what they had to move. After completing the walk-through, he suggested that I get another guy over with another 26' truck. I asked the price of that and for the extra guy and truck it would be $50 more per hour. By now I'm confused why I would need another 26' truck for a 1300 sq. ft home, when I moved from 6 states to TX in a 26' Penske truck and the only additional furniture I had was a washer/dryer (that was still in their original boxes), mattress and box spring, 8ft. dining room table (legs were already off) and a cooking grill. I talked it over with my wife and we concluded that hiring another guy and truck would be unnecessary. The lead guy shared that he just wanted to let me know upfront so that I wouldn't say that I wasn't told upfront if they are not able to get every thing on the truck. Again, the guys were pleasant, but no the most efficient with packing the truck. Without going into a lot of details, I ended up being the 4th man when I saw how the truck was being packed and at what rate. I understood they wanted to be careful with my merchandise but I felt things could have moved more efficiently without incidents. I had broken all beds down, furniture was wrapped with the exception of the chairs and end tables. I thought it would be an easy move because of all the prep work done before they got there. I voluntarily helped them load and arrange some boxes so that we could get them all on the truck. The move that was "expected" to take 2 26' trucks took ONLY 1 truck....when packed correctly. When we got to our new place, again I helped with the unload that took only 1.5hrs. or less to do and that was with placing the items in their individual rooms. Because we had budgeted a certain amount for the move and I saw we were about to exceed our time, I told them I would unwrap and set up the furniture. My dining room table did get chipped, in which one of the movers admitted to doing. The lead guy called Romero, who only wanted to cover the trip charge, I told him what I would be satisfied with as a customer for the damage that was admitted to by his employee and he refused it. We negotiated an amount and I will leave that there. Overall, I would not use Castle Movers for another move, nor recommend them. It required too much of my supervision for a company that specializes in "moving." The crew was pleasant and I didn't have any problems with their attitudes, but did not meet my expectations with efficiency.

Don't use this company!!.I made my confirmed reservation 10 days in advance for pick up at 9-10 am-tried to call 4 days, 3 days, 2 days in advance to re-confirm-left messages-finally returned my call-did not have me on schedule-would call me back when problem solved-did not call-left 3 more messages day before move-received email morning of move stating would pickup between 1-2 pm same day- at 3pm still hadn't arrived-once again phoned left messages-movers finally arrived at 6:45 pm-by then had called another mover-cost me an additional $30.00/hr!-so if you want lots of promises and bad result use Cordobe Solutions

HORRIBLE... if I could give them zero stars I would. I was in contact with this mover from the beginning of my plan move to the day before. The day of my move they were suppose to be there at 9AM. They never showed up. They never called. Sent me straight to voicemail. Never responded to my text messages. Never responded to my messages on this website. Never called to apologize...NOTHING. I am just glad I didnt prepay for any of their services. If I was you I would RUN as far and fast as I can from this company! They are the worst company with no communications skills whatsoever. Luckily I was able to hire a team to come in the next day and work everything out for me.

I needed the help of 2 movers for a couple of hours to move me out of one single story to another. One of the guys was great, professional and kind, the other was more comfortable and joking. We are all funny so it was okay until I saw that this one guy was taking his time unloading the truck and putting stuff away. I paid for 4 hours when I should have only paid for 3. Like I said earlier, one of the gentlemen was really helpful bu the other was not professional.
