I wish thumbtack would allow you to select every option on reviews because Carlos was amazing. He was responsive, professional, punctual, value of work was right within my budget. Carlos came by same day of my submitted requested and started on the job next day and completed the job very well to my liking. I needed a door installed for my home work office. However, the room had an open entrance frame but not an actual door frame. Carlos was able to make and finish a door frame along with painting the trim to match it as well as painting the door. I look forward working with him again to add a door to my media room.. Thanks again !!

He did not know to take off tabs on bottom of the door, that left a gab under threshold and between door, light was shining through. He broke hard plank trim on exterior and trim on the interior. I paid him $350.00 and ended up having to get someone else to remove the door and the tabs and reinstall correctly. I let him know and he did not even offer a refund. I feel I need to take him to small claims court.

Replacement door frame installed crooked in the opening, rather than fitting to the existing frame, leaving an unfinished part of the wall showing, and one side of the door is about 1/4" farther out than the other. Also, the viewer peephole was installed off center. The outside was painted, but several paintbrush bristles were left in the painted surface, which, when removed, exposed the white door underneath. Also, the deadbolt did not work, so I had to call them back. The price was also higher than expected, especially considering I bought all the materials for them to install. Overall, very nice (and young) crew, but I did not have time to supervise their work and catch these issues before it was too late. Would NOT recommend them.

Short: If you’re looking for the best, you found it. He knows what he is doing! Long: Every now and then you will get a monster of a job. I was that said job. I had an unusual door and extremely heavy. The entrance had to be resized to fit it. It took literally ALL day to fully install (plus a rear storm door that was strait forward). I watch him work the whole time. He worked hard the whole time! By then it was night but there was still some left over clean up that was needed. He came back another day, even put up a brand new frame, and didn’t charge me more. He spent several hours to make sure I was satisfied. He is my go to guy from now on. I look forward to working with him again!

Randy and helper showed up on time, reviewed project and began working immediately. They worked through the complete without stopping until project was completed to our satisfaction. At various points they checked to make sure we were satisfied with their work, and to make recommendations as they progressed. I very much appreciated this level and rare consideration. The end results more than met our expectations plus the cost was very reasonable. Going forward I plan to hire Randy on more remodeling project and I highly recommend his services to others.
