I've been taking lessons with Phil for nearly a year and I am so happy with the results I'm hearing in my voice. My voice before taking lessons with Phil was weak and pitiful, however, the method Phil uses is extremely effective and does magic for your voice. He takes a more physical approach to getting your voice strong and robust, you have to be committed to doing the vocal exercise cd's he gives you everyday but it is so worth it.This guy knows what he is doing and knows how to get the voice in good shape. He is a cool guy too and doesn't bore you to death during the lesson, his dry sense of humor makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Phil to anyone who is serious about a professional career in singing, you won't find a better teacher in Texas than Phil, I guarantee it.

I have been taking private lessons from Anicia for the past three years, and doing productions for the past eight and each is a wonderful, enriching experience. Anicia is hard-working, very driven and truly cares about each student. She will push you as hard as she can to make sure you are doing your best. She has been a huge help in my theatre career thus far, and I'm confident that I will be able to use all the things I've learned from her in the future. She is a great choice for anyone serious about acting or singing.

Alicia is a fantastic voice teacher. Her focus on the student's natural voice is wonderful, and her energy and positivity are contagious. I came to her after a bad experience with a previous teacher left my confidence in shreds, and she restored it almost immediately by working to relax and bring out my own voice. She has never once tried to make me sound like someone else, or force me into some sound other than my own voice. And because of that relaxation, my voice is already stronger, and my range greater, than before I started with her. For repertoire, she has taken both my voice and my interests into consideration--making her the first voice teacher not to scoff when I said I liked folk music. Instead, she introduced me to Benjamin Britten's folk arrangements, taking me seriously and teaching me wonderful music. I look forward to every lesson with her, and I am able to practice between lessons with the clear instructions I get from her. I am so glad I am her student.

About

I am in search of horrible singers. Is your voice so bad it makes grown men weep in agony? When you sing, do proper ladies start cussing? Do your lullabies give your children nightmares? I can fix that. I’m a voice teacher who is tutored by Beyonce’s teacher. So, you get the same technique that made Beyonce a star for a fraction of the cost. My credits include The Dallas Opera and The Music at the Mansion Jazz Festival in New York. For your convenience, I will come to your home. My rates are as follows: $60/hour or $35/half hour with a 4-lesson minimum. Send me a message. Save humanity. Learn to sing.

About

Honesty! We like to think of ourselves as not a school but a development company. We teach our talents how important it is to not only be the best actor or actress they can possibly be but how to better market themselves in this tough industry. We ask all talents to audition, we don't accept everyone considering we put our reputation of the line for our students by doing our part by finding them representation from a talent agency once we feel they are ready to be seen and market ready.

I have over 30 years experience as a performer, teacher and clinician.
